WELSH BLACKPOOL 17 Judge(s): MR NICK CONNELL PD (1) 1 Witmond's Tiltser Double O' Seven. Decent head and expression, straight forelegs onto good feet, ribs well carried back to a short loin, well angulated quarters. Good tail set although I would prefer a better topline. Moved true both ways and presented in first class order. RCC & BPIB. 1 Eastwood & Vickers' Welsh Dragon. A good type who has a balanced head with nicely placed eyes and ears attributing to a good expression. Enough neck into well laid back shoulders and straight well boned fore legs. Nice spring of ribs which are well carried back to a short loin, level topline and a good tail set. I would prefer more moderate quarter angulations to mirror his front assembly. Presented in faultless condition and moved soundly both fore and aft. DCC. 2 Roberts' Brecknock Bleddyn ShCM. Top sized male who has a decent head and expression, straight front, level topline and nicely angulated quarters. 3 Draper's Russtam Simply A Prince. 1 Potts & Avveduti's Multi Ch Cunnings Thundering Trickster At Kebulak NAF TAF. Typical head with tidy ears, shoulders well laid back, straight well boned fore legs, level topline and nicely angulated quarters. Needs more length of leg to complete a balanced picture. Moved soundly but would prefer more reach and drive. Presented in good order. 1 Graham's Stanstead Shining Star. Lovely balanced bitch who is certainly a Welsh and not a generic black and tan terrier. Correct head proportions with well placed eyes and ears attributing to a typical expression. Enough neck into a text book front assembly which mirrors her rear angles. Her ribs are well carried back to a short loin and her top line is level with a good tail set. She is ultra sound both fore and aft and covers the ground effortlessly when viewed from side profile. Presented in first class condition although she would benefit from more ring training. CC & BOB. 1 Riley's Yonichi Pistol Raider. Typical head with well placed eyes and ears culminating in a true expression, enough neck into well placed shoulders, straight well boned fore legs, good spring of rib and a good tail set although her topline could be better . Her quarters are nicely angulated and well developed in muscle tone. Moved true both fore and aft. RCC. 2 Callon & Callon-Winn's Russtam Rainbows End. A different type who has a decent head and nicely placed eyes, her ears are too small and could be better placed to enhance her expression. Nice neck into well placed shoulders, level topline and nicely angulated quarters. Moved true in front. 3 Jones' Cwnogion Alaw Medi. OB (2) 1 Witmond's Ch Tiltser Million Dollar Baby. Lovely head and expression with nicely placed eyes and tidy ears. Enough neck into shoulders which could ideally be more laid back, straight fore legs, level topline and angulated quarters which are well developed in muscletone. Presented in great order and covered the ground from side profile. 2 Schoneberg's Kebulak She Devil. This bitch has some breed essentials, but I felt she lacked overall breed type. Decent head pattern but could have a smaller eye, level top line and well angulated quarters. Moved true in front. |
