WELSH BIRMINGHAM NATIONAL 10 Judge(s) MR RICHARD ALLEN DCC SONORRA PERCY PIMP (MR N & MRS S CONNELL) Welsh Terriers PD (1) 1 Connell’s Sonorra Percy Pimp, outstanding dog, put down & handled to perfection, excellent type & size, true Welsh head & expression, strong neck, short level back, very good set on, strong quarters & plenty behind the tail, very good bone, legs & feet, moved very well both ways & his ring presence was excellent. Will watch his progress with interest, he is sure to do very well. CC, BOB & BP. JD (0). PGD (3) 1 Barney’s Romaunt Chicago Outfit, lovely head & eye, straight front, good neck & shoulders, level back, high tail set but carried a little over, moved well when settled. Needs time to drop in body & fill out; 2 Frayne’s Valucis Vitally Sparky, compact dog, short level back, good bone, legs & feet. A bit straight in stifle. Showed well; 3 Williams’ Taicligh Star Trooper. LD (1) 1 Cassidy’s Boowire Wild Ginger, good head & eye, moved true up & back. Could do with more extension on the go round. Good coat & condition, level back, high set tail, good bone. OD (3,1) 1 Halliwell’s Wigmore The One And Only, quality typy dog, put down & handled expertly, lovely for size, true Welsh head, eye & expression, good coat & colour, short back, good bend of stifle, in good muscle. RCC; 2 Robertson’s Felstead Funny Fellow at Renevis, lovely head & eye, in very good condition but his coat was very soft in texture. Very good bone, legs & feet. Top size dog & could move with more animation. PB (2) 1 Evans’ Pendevour Passthetime, quality baby, lovely head, eye & ear, good outline, very good body for age, moved well once settled. Just needs time to reach the top; 2 Ashton’s Jolliver Celtic Flame, nice type of bitch who put up a good show. In very good coat & condition, moved OK. JB (4,2) 1 Roe’s Dezrez Teenage Kicks, lovely outline, excellent coat & condition, good neck & shoulders, short back, good tailset, in very good body, moved well & well handled; 2 Poole’s Boowire Sunrise of Alokin, compact, OK In neck & shoulders, in good coat & condition. Could move with more drive. Showed well. PGB (1) 1 Griffiths & Pesci-Griffiths’ Dobelands Ebony Lace, good bodied bitch, short level back, good coat & condition, showed well, moved really well in profile. LB (3,1) 1 Connell & Graham’s Sonorra Tilly Trollop, quality bitch, very good type & size, short level back, in very good coat & condition, excellent showgirl & she really moved well. RCC; 2 Spragg’s Saredon Delta Dawn, good bitch who is so good to go over, trimmed very well although not the coat & colour of 1. Moved true, good body condition, showed well. OB (4,2) 1 Averis & Scawthorn’s Saredon It Had To Be You, lovely quality bitch, in A1 condition, good neck & shoulders, excellent coat & colour, typical head & expression, good body, short back, strong quarters, hocks well let down, very good showgirl who asked for the CC & got it; 2 Barney’s Romaunt Myfanwy, short back, very compact, good bone, legs & feet, showed very well. Not in the trim of 1 & ears need to settle. |
