Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers

Thank you for your tolerance in the lateness of getting into the ring on such a long hot day. Unfortunately the heat caused a number of exhibits to under perform on the day which affected their placing.
Apologies for the lateness of the report which was due to organizing a show and work commitments

Puppy Dog (4 -1a).

1. Sargent & Dunhill-Hall, Fantasa Blonde, a nicely made dog, pleasing in outline and overall balance, good head balanced with dark eye, nice neck and good shoulders and forequarters, ok in body, nicely angulated hindquarters. Moved and showed well. Best Puppy.

2. Simpson, Loofahsa Bumblebee, nice size and overall balance, good type and head, nicely made quarters, good ribs and body, good hindquarters, low set hocks. Very playful today.

3. Tucker, Glendowan Murray The Mint.

Junior Dog (2).

1. Francis, Sawheaten Twasn’t Me, Good head correctly proportioned, good shoulders and forequarters, good ribs and body, strong loin, ok in hindquarters, good tail set. Pleasing in overall outline and balance. Moved well.

2. Carter’s, Chloeanco Hunni Dream, very similar to 1, good head, nice neck and shoulders, compact, short coupled, low set hocks, moving a little close behind today.

Post Graduate Dog (4- 2a).

1. Paterson’s, Kellynack The Fantastic Fox, a soundly made dog, good type, size, pleasing in outline and overall balance, deep chest, good ribs and body, compact, well set tail, strong loin, and muscular hindquarters, moved well.

2. Coulbert’s, Janeyjimjams Jazzbo, Very typical, nice head, nice neck flowing into level topline, short coupled, well set tail, nice hindquarters. A shade wide in front when moving.

Limit Dog (7).

1. Kenneally, Loofahsa Hakuna Matata, Pleasing in outline and overall balance, Head balanced and correctly proportioned, strong jaw, nice neck and forequarters, well made body, good hindquarters, low set hocks. Moved and showed well.

2. Clarke’s, Loofahsa Scaramouchie, very similar to 1. good head, straight front, deep chest, good ribs and body, short coupled, good tail set, strong muscular hindquarter, moved well.

3. Mason, Emalot Tommy Tango.

Open Dog (8).

1. Dunhill, Ch. Fantasa Bonde Kaos, this dog has matured on well from the last time I judged him. Good size type and overall balance, good head, well balanced, soundly made quarters, well made quarters, deep chest, strong well angulated hindquarters, good coat, moved and showed very well.
2. Waite’s, Ch. Weatawaite Golden Willow, another soundly made quality dog, good head, nice neck, well placed shoulders, good forequarter, deep chest, well made body, strong well muscled hindquarters good tail set, moved well.

3. Bott’s, Whitevale Prince of Thieves

Veteran Dog or Bitch (3).

1. Bain’s, Merriwell Magic Moonbeam, in lovely condition, nice head, good neck and forequarters, well made body, and short coupled, good hindquarters, well set tail. Moved and showed very well.

2. Munn’s, Ir Ch Snowmeadow Isabella, again presented in good condition, good type and head, soundly made quarters fore and aft, and well made body, a steady free mover. Lacked the sparkle on the winner today.

3. Herbert’s, Ch. Caindantes That’s Ma Boy

Puppy Bitch (4-1a).

1. Ford & Mcmurray, Kanjuley Scarlet and Gold, nice outline and overall balance, head correctly proportioned with dark eye, neat well carried ears, nice neck, well placed shoulder, well made body, short coupled, well angulated hindquarters. well set tail, moved very well.

2. Cox’s, Steffsgrace Dutch Flower, pleasing in outline and overall balance, nice quarters fore and aft, woolly coat, short coupled, low set hocks, and moved well.

3. Witheyman’s, Steefsgrace Dutch Kiss by Dascol.

Junior Bitch (3-1a).

1. Munn’s, Snowmeadow Oolla O’Luna, a balanced bitch, very typical, good head and expression, good neck, well placed shoulder, deep chest, good ribs and body, nice angulated hindquarters.

2. Watkins’s, Chloeanco Hunni Caress For Zaraslake, very typical, pleasing in outline and overall balance, dark eye, good expression, nice neck and shoulders, ok in ribs and body, a steady mover.

Post Graduate Bitch (13).

1. Thoburn’s, Emalot Jilly Jitterbug To Northridge, a well balanced bitch, good head correctly proportioned, dark eye, good neck and shoulders, good topline, nicely angulated hindquarters, moved well.

2. Morrey’s, Tobymorrey Aint I Precious, good size, good head, well placed shoulder, soundly made quarters fore and aft, short coupled, and nicely made body.

3. Tilley’s, Starzak Solid Gold Ez Action JW.

Limit Bitch (10 -2a).

1. Omitogun & Matti, Loofahsa Bohemia in frontline, good outline and overall balance, head correctly proportioned, dark eye, good neck and shoulders, well made body, short coupled, nicely angulated hindquarters. Moved well.

2. Paterson’s, Kellynack Viva la Luna, similar to 1, good head and expression, soundly made quarters for and aft, well sprung ribs, good tail set.

3. Brooks, Loofahsa Hayzee Fantayzee.

Open Bitch (7).

1. Dowdy’s, Denzilly Toot Sweet, a lovely well balance bitch, full of quality, good head correctly proportioned, nice neck, well placed shoulders, soundly made quarters, deep well sprung ribs. Short coupled good topline and tail set, well angulated hindquarters, low set hocks. Moved and showed well. C.C.

2. Noble’s, Ch. Pippajam Gold Leaf, another nicely made bitch, pleasing in outline and overall balance, good head correctly proportioned, well placed shoulders, well made body, good hindquarters. Moved well.

3. Robins, Purdingley Maid For Morira.
