SOFT COAT WHEATEN RICHMOND 09 Judge: Mr Max King SOFT COATED WHEATEN JUDGE RICHMOND 09 Richmond Championship Show Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier: VD (2) 1. Whitehead’s Finchwood Special Style. 10.1/2 years old and pleased with overall shape and balance, short and well coupled body, well sprung ribs, free movement. 2. Witheyman’s Chloeanco Stars N Stripes. Square and compact, preferred head of 1, moving a little close behind. PD (2) 1. Fletcher’s Keridown Shaken Not Stirred. Nice shape developing, well constructed head, coat coming on well, sound movement, nice outgoing temperament. 2. Boulton’s Amberstar Yellow Submarine. A bit playful but when settling moved OK, coat and colour will come with maturity. JD (3) 1. Whitehead’s Shangai Shoggoth. Strong type throughout, flat skull with correct head proportions, nicely laid shoulders, sshort level back with short couplings, good colour. 2. Coulbert’s Janeyjimjams Jazzbo. Different sort to 1, good bite, clean cut outline and well put together, short coupled. 3. Clarke’s Loofahsa Scaramouche. PGD (5) 1. Lawrence’s Snowmeadow Numinous Nillo. Outgoing and playful type, good honest construction with nice shape presented, good body and well set tail, good bend of stifle and well let down hocks. 2. L Scaramouche. Good front with well laid shoulders, won placing on overall type. 3. Mason’s Emalot Tommy Tango. LD (5) 1. House & Lampkin’s Glendowan Going For Gold. Nice size and shape, in good coat and nice colour and texture to coat, moved true and free. 2. Connaughton’s Bacanti Beach Bunny. Longer cast than 1, nice rear construction and angulation producing good drive. 3. Storie’s Ballynahowna Liam’s Failte to Dungarvan. OD (10.1) 1. Morrey’s Tobamorrey Ain’t I a Tyke. Upstanding and smart dog, on his toes at all times, well constructed quarters and muscled to produce powerful movement but handler needs to find correct pace to display these virtues to advantage, liked overall shape and balance. CC and BOB, I understand his 3rd congratulations to all concerned. 2. Tilley’s Emalot Golden Delicious at Starzak. Square and compact presenting a balanced outline, good mouth with large teeth, dark eye and well set ears giving good expression, moved true. Res CC. 3. Walkin’s Ch & Can Ch Jonaire Kataxin Va Va Voom O’ Kellynac. VB (1) 1. Munn’s Ch Snowmeadow Feebee Friday. This lady is now 10 years old and shows no sign of coarseness or exaggeration and retains good basic shape, carrying lots of coat. PB (4) 1. Satherley’s Tobamoorey Sitting Pretty at Silkcroft. Pretty young bitch with good head, neck and shoulders, nicely proportioned, short body, good tail set with plenty behind the tail which produced keen and eager movement. BP. 2. Morrey’s Tobamorrey Aint I Precious. Not as forward as 1, clean cut shape but not always helping herself. 3. Cross’ Weetawaite Little Ms Muffet. JB (4.1) 1. Grant’s Kellynack The Fabulous Fox. Won class on overall shape and size, needs firmer handling and when wanting to, moved ok . 2. Shatford’s Janey Jimjams Jamballya. Longer cast and not the body shape of 1. 3. Salisbury’s Orliscwt Lillie The Pink. PGB (13.3) 1. Howe’s Stevelyn Memphis To Vegas. Very well put together and typical of this breeder, feminine appearance, liked overall proportions, short body, level topline with well set tail, settled to move well. CC. 2. Barrett’s Denzilly Truly Scrumptious at Saffini. This lady has lots of positive virtues to admire and this decided placing, good head and body shape, in good coat and colour, clean and easy movement. 3. Atyed’s Glendowan Guiding Star to Kanjuley. LB (7) 1. Robins’ Purdingley Maid for Morira. Good shape and balance, strong head on well developed neck, good body, strong and level, good coat and colour, used ears to advantage in class, but flagged a little in the challenge. Res CC. 2. Grime’s Tobamorrey Aint No Angel. Solid type and well put together, well muscled, not always helping herself on the move, but liked the way she held her topline on the move. 3. Oake’s Merriwell Magical Moondance Von Lisichka. OB (4.1) 1. Rogers’ Ch Kizzahal Katinka. Nice size and shape, standing four square, good rear angulation, true mover. 2. Munn’s Ch & Ir Ch Snowmeadow Jellybean Jilly. Another of very good shape and type. 3. O’Sullivan & Harding’s Wintrypark Miss Moneypenny for Chekhina. Breeders: 1.
