SOFT COATED WHEATEN JUDGE LEEDS 11

SOFT-COATED WHEATEN TERRIERS

JD (2)

1. Hanna’s Kinaelan Finlandia Finnian. 15 months. Good head neck and shoulder, level topline and excellent rear angulation with plenty behind the tail. Ribs rather round giving front a bit wider than I would like. Coat maturing very well and a good colour. Good movement with drive and reach in profile but slightly close behind and loose in front at this stage but may well improve with maturity. BD

2. Gent’s Lynton Le Praz Darbello Boy. Just out of puppy and losing out on maturity but a promising youngster. Nice head neck and shoulder. Excellent bone and substance. Coat good texture but pale at the moment. Movement good but a bit loose all round.

PGD (1)

1 Bailey’s Amberstar Please Mr Postman. Good head and expression, nice front and shoulder, good spring of rib but slightly long coupled. Good coat and colour and moved soundly.

OD (1)

1 Glew’s Wentloog Mozambique at Braelochyen. Standing I thought this would be my best dog. Very nice head and expression, good bite and pigment, good shoulder and level topline. Short coupled with deep chest. Very good coat with lovely silky texture. Enough angulation front and back and generally presented a well balanced picture. Front movement was OK but rear movement let him down badly. RBD

PB (1)

1 Revis’s Garsayno Gold Gemma Nine month pup with pretty head and expression. Good neck and shoulder, short coupled. Good coat and colour. Would prefer a slightly better tailset. Moved well in front and in profile but a little close behind. BP

JB (2)

1. Hanna’s Kinaelan Finlandia Finnial Very similar to her litter brother in JD. Good head neck and shoulder, good topline, short coupled, excellent rear angulation. Coat lovely texture and colour and developing well, powerful movement though a bit close behind and wide enough in front at this stage.

2. Salisbury’s Killeshin Libaniere. Very nice young bitch though not keen to be in the ring. Good head and neck but would prefer a little more layback of shoulder. Good coat with nice colour coming through, moved soundly.

PGB (2)

1. Bennett’s Fantasa Blonde Matilda.

2. Orliscwt Esmereldaisy A difficult class. Two very nice bitches both with many virtues. Heads necks and shoulders good on both as were the bodies.and overall condition. Both moved well but slightly close behind. Coats different but good of their kind and fitted the standard. Winner scored in general outline and balance.

OB (6.2)

1. Hanna’s Ch/Ir Ch Kinaelan Quietly Confident. Balanced head, good neck, shoulder, topline and tailset. Excellent rear angulation. Lovely mature coat with silky texture and sheen. Powerful movement with reach and drive.BOB

2. Munn’s Snowmeadow Oola O’ Luna. Very close up in all departments. Lovely head, neck and expression, good spring of rib and deep chest. Well ribbed back and well angulated front and rear. Lovely coat and colour. Moved soundly. Just lacks the showmanship of the winner.

3. Orliscwt Lillee The Pink
