SOFT COATED WHEATEN JUDGE EAST OF ENGLAND 10

Soft-coated Wheaten Terriers

Type remains very varied. Rather too many incorrect mouths. Temperaments as wonderful as ever.

PD (2)

1 Sargent & Dunhill-Hall’s Fantasa Blonde Mulligan, masculine boy who doesn’t need to grow any more. Super temperament & uses himself so well on the move, fairly true out & back, very good stride, lengthy head, super eyes & big black nose. Needs to body. Balanced in angulation, level topline, very good coat;

2 Johnson’s Garsayno Gold Freeman, not as settled as 1. Super head, correct width of skull & balance, good neck, well made front, well sprung ribs. Not as positive on move as 1. Coat texture can improve but promising.

JD (1)

1 Francis’ Sawheaten Twasnt Me, good shape & type, masculine head, good balance, nice width to skull, good expression, lengthy neck, well laid shoulder. Needs to drop & fill in chest. Short coupled. Tail just a fraction low set, untidy out & back but good stride. Correct texture coat.

PGD (2)

1 Hart’s Weatawaite Little Boy Blue, good outline & super texture to coat, masculine head. Light eyes spoil his expression. Strong neck, firm topline of correct length. Can deepen in chest. Short loin, fairly true mover & good stride;

2 Cooper’s Merriwell Midnite Magic, nice outline & good length of stride. Could have better pigment. Good head, dark eyes, well made front & rear, good depth of chest. Tail curls & spoils outline moving. Low hocks.

LD (7)

1 Mason’s Emalot Tommy Tango, good shape, moves out well, masculine in head. Slightly upturned muzzle. Super eye & expression, good neck, well laid shoulder, long ribs & short loin, level topline, enough bend of stifle. Coat can improve;

2 Clarke’s Loofahsa Scaramouche, very good size & type. Rather light in eye otherwise a pleasing head. Good neck, good front, firm topline, nicely set & carried tail, good coat, moved quite well;

3 Cross’ Starcadia Willow Pickwick.

OD (7,2)

1 Naylor’s Peteneira P’ticularly Pete with Amaricy, nice for type & a very good coat & colour, very good shape to head. Eyes could be darker. Strong neck, well laid shoulder, super ribs, short loin, firm topline, well made rear, low hock, true mover, nice stride, combines coat & soundness. CC;

2 Bott’s Whitevale Prince of Thieves, liked him for shape & soundness. Could be better in colour & coat. Good proportions in head, lengthy neck, balanced in angulation, well bodied & holds firm topline. RCC;

3 Munn’s Ch Snowmeadow Jazzy Jacob.

PB (2)

Two very similar pups of 6 months showing lots of promise.

1 Lawrence’s Emalot Little Miss Star. BP;

2 Wassall’s Emalot Little Miss Magic, both have lovely heads, feminine but with strength, super eye & expression, well made & correct in body for age. 1 is a bit more together on the move with better tailset. 2 is slightly better for length body.

JB (2)

1 Munn’s Snowmeadow Oolla O’Luna, feminine, well balanced head. Just slightly rounded in skull. Lovely eye & expression, good neck & shoulders, well ribbed, level topline, very good rear which she uses so well, very good coat for texture & profusion;

2 Withington’s Fantasa Blonde Lilley, smart bitch, good length of stride, lovely eyes & nose. Slight dish to face. Good neck. Can slope in topline standing but level on the move. Would prefer better texture to coat.

PGB (8,1)

1 Naylor’s Amaricy Femme Fatal, very good for type & correct coat. Could have darker eyes & neater ears but liked strength of head. Good neck, slightly wide coming to but super rear, lovely body & rib, firm topline, full of terrier attitude;

2 Thoburn’s Emalot Jilly Jitterbug to Northridge, different sort of bitch but with a lot to like. Feminine head of good balance, long neck. Can still deepen in body. True front action but could be more positive in rear. Coat texture not as good as 1 but she has a lovely sheen. Very smart in profile;

3 Hammond & Evans’ Calvenace Toppa Totty.

LB (6,2)

1 Brooks’ Loofahsa Hayzee Fantayzee, liked her outline & movement, very good texture coat but could be a better colour. Feminine head, dark eyes. Just a bit of an upward tilt to muzzle. Very well made, well ribbed body, level topline, well set & carried tail. RCC;

2 Tilley’s Starzak Solid Gold Ez Action, different type of bitch, really good head & big black nose, balanced angulation, firm topline, well set on tail. Just a bit harsh in coat;

3 Hammond & Evans’ Calvenace Boodles.

OB (7,2)

1 Naylor’s Kazeen Hot Deception at Amaricy, lovely bitch, super outline & best mover in class, quite a good shape head. Could have darker eyes & neater ears. Good neck, well laid shoulder, super ribs, level topline, correct proportions, very strong rear, lovely coat. CC & BOB;

2 Dowdy’s Denzilly Toot Sweet, very smart girl, pleasing feminine head, good in profile. Just not as tidy out & back as 1. Good neck, balanced in angulation, well presented coat of good colour;

3 Mason’s Emalot Jean Genie.
