SOFT COATED WHEATEN JUDGE EAST OF ENGLAND 09

Soft-coated Wheaten Terriers

I was pleased with the quality & type shown. I was looking especially for SCWT with correct coat, large strong teeth, correct dark pigmentation around eyes, on lips & pads & nails if possible, all combined with positive hind action. I am glad to say that several exhibits fitted this description.

PD (1)

1 Paterson’s Kellynack The Fantastic Fox, happy young man, excellent temperament, well proportioned, correct head shape & nice dark eye, well carried neck, good layback leading to good topline & tailset, his movement was good. Coat texture not yet correct. BP.

JD (1)

1 Salisbury’s Orliscwt Bobbin Along, correct type, good proportions, nice flat skull, strong foreface, dark eyes, correct dark eye rims, very good neck, well ribbed up. Tailset could be higher, moved a little close behind. Coat & colour excellent.
