Border Union Championship Show 2010

Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers

One of the best shows on the calendar beautiful location and more often than not good weather.
I would like to thank my exhibitors and hope that they enjoyed the day as much as I did.

Puppy Dog

1 Fantasa Blonde Mulligan: Lovely puppy although a bit on the big side. Promising clean coloured coat, lovely head, eye and pigment. Moved and handled well which allowed him to show his happy, exuberant personality.

2 Garsayno Gold Freeman: Better for size than 1 and again a nice clear coat with nice head, eye and pigment. Unfortunately did not move as steadily as 1 but should do well once he gains more confidence.

Post Graduate Dog

1 Abiqua Wild Knight Romance: Well presented young dog with nice head and ears, lovely neck length seamlessly blending into shoulders. strong short couplings with level topline and good leg to height proportion. Low hocks and good coat.

Limit Dog

1 Loofahasa Scaramouche: Res CC Well balanced dog with a large black nose and good pigment, good neck, firm topline with nicely carried tail, well ribbed, moved steadily.

2 Kazeen Too Bright to Bovver: Attractive shaped, compact, short coupled dog with good coat & colour. It was a shame he was a little lack lustre today which could have been due to the heat.

Open Dog

1 Ch Fantasa Blonde Kaos: CC and BOB Lovely head, pigment, eye and teeth, nice strong arched neck blending well into good shoulders, level topline with strong short loin and good set on with correct tail carriage. Nice width of chest with good straight legs and thick pads. Good evenly coloured coat, moved out very well.

2 Lilwaukee Leroy Brown for Avard: Nice for size and overall balance. Good head proportions with dark eye. Topline level and well muscled throughout moved so on day

3 Tobamorrey Ain t Half Hot Mum

Junior Bitch

1 Fantasa Blonde Lilley: Feminine head with good eyes & expression, excellent dentition. Very pleasing neck length with good head and tail carriage. Well presented and handled. Easy mover

Post Graduate Bitch

1 Abiqua Wild in a Satin Sash: Very pretty bitch with nice head shape, dark eye and good bite. Liked her body proportions and size. Nice coat which was well presented.

2 Loofahasa Amareuse: Good honest bitch with level topline and good chest.

3 Kellynack Viva La Passione for Avard

Limit Bitch

1 Abiqua Wild Lace Effect CC: A very pretty girl who like her sister in PG has a very nice head shape, dark eye and good bite. Body proportions excellent as is her size. Good flowing coat presented to show her off to best advantage without any exaggeration. Moved and showed well.

2 Tobamorrey Sitting Pretty at Silkcroft JW: Pretty feminine young bitch with nice shaped head, good teeth, pigment and well set ears. Lovely strong neck blending into good shoulders. Correct topline and set on with nice tail carriage. Short strong loin. Very nice coat texture although still needs a little more time. Moved out very well.

3 Tobamorrey Ain t I Precious

Open Bitch

1 Fantasa Blonde Krackers: Res CC Nice head, eyes, pigment and teeth. Coat is a good even colour throughout. Lovely reach of neck into good shoulders with strong topline, well set and carried tail. Good angulation, strode out very well.

2 Kirktonhill No Matter What Sh Ch: Nice size feminine bitch. Good neck into nice shoulders. Well muscled. Strode out well but can lose her outline on the move.

3 Kazeen Too Hot to Rock
