SOFT COATED WHEATEN BIRMINGHAM NATIONAL 10 Judge(s) BILL BROWNE-COLE DCC CH FANTASA BLONDE KAOS (MRS E DUNHILL) Soft-coated Wheaten Terriers MPD (3) 1 Sargent & Dunhill-Hall’s Fantasa Blonde Mulligan, very promising youngster, destined for the top, good for size, good head shape, excellent coat & colour, excelled in movement. BP; 2 Johnson’s Garsayno Gold Freeman, pleasing head shape, compact body. Needs to settle a little in movement. Coat OK; 3 McLean’s Steefgrace Double Dutch at Roderns. PD (1) 1 Francis’ Sawheaten Twasn’t Me, liked his head & eye, excellent bite, correct topline & coat. Needs to improve in movement. JD (2) 1 Carter’s Chloeanco Hunni Dream, lovely size, very good coat & colour, pleasing head & eye, couldn’t stand wrong, should do very well; 2 Taylor’s Pippajam Break On Through, good head shape, very good topline & angulation, moved steadily. PGD (3,1) 1 Paterson’s Kellynack The Fantastic Fox, typy head, ample neck, very good coat & colour, correct topline. Would prefer slightly better set on. Moved true; 2 Hobson’s Abiqua Wild Knight Romance, lovely make & shape, excellent ear carriage, bite OK. Lost out in movement. LD (6,2) 1 Whitehead’s Shanghai Shoggoth, balanced head, short, compact, very good bone, legs & feet, moved out well; 2 Clarke’s Loofahsa Scaramouche, excellent coat & colour, liked his head shape. Would prefer a darker eye, could have been a tad shorter. Moved steadily; 3 Kenneally’s Loofahsa Hakuna Matata. OD (6,2) 1 Dunhill’s Ch Fantasa Blonde Kaos, loved his head & eye, good bite, excellent ear carriage, strong muscular neck, short compact body, excellent set on, very good coat & colour, moved out so well. CC, BOB & G4; 2 Cox’s Ch Riabee Sagittarian Comet, classy male, ribs well sprung, moved with drive going. Not so positive as 1 in front movement. RCC; 3 Munn’s Ch Snowmeadow Jazzy Jacob. MPB (3,1) 1 Witheyman’s Steefsgrace Dutch Kiss by Dascol, pleasing head shape. Would have preferred a darker eye. Correct topline, excellent set on, excelled in movement, should do well; 2 Cox’s Steefsgrace Dutch Flower, good head & eye, well sprung rib. Set on could be better. Moved steadily. PB (0). JB (6,1) 1 Watkins’ Chloeanco Hunni Caress for Zaraslake, very promising young bitch, couldn’t stand wrong, should trouble the best when ready; 2 Withington’s Fantasa Blonde Lilley, liked her head, ample neck. Would prefer slightly better set on. Moved with drive; 3 Munn’s Snowmeadow Oolla O’Luna. PGB (14,4) 1 Tilley’s Starzak Solid Gold Ez Action, very showy classy bitch, balanced head, good ears, excellent hindquarters, very good coat & colour, moved with drive & reach. RCC; 2 Taylor’s Amberstar Eight Days A Week, quality bitch with all the credentials. Just needs to settle a little in movement; 3 Grant’s Kellynack The Fabulous Fox. LB (9,2) 1 Brooks’ Loofahsa Hayzee Fantayzee, flat skull, strong muzzle, correct coat & colour, well sprung ribs, strong loin, moved with drive; 2 Satherley’s Tobamorrey Sitting Pretty at Silkcroft, lovely make & shape. Not so positive as 1 in movement; 3 Bradford’s Abiqua Wild Lace Effect. OB (5) 1 Dowdy’s Denzilly Toot Sweet, up to size, excellent forehand, good feet, well sprung ribs, excellent angulation, pleasure to see her move, excellent coat & colour. CC; 2 Dunhill’s Fantasa Blonde Krackers, short, compact bitch, loved her head, in good muscletone. Not quite so positive as 1 in movement; 3 Hanna’s Ch Kinaelan Quietly confident. |
