SOFT COATED WHEATEN WINDSOR 13 Judge: Mrs G Jane Lilley BEST OF BREED : 5064 WALKLIN Mr D P & Mrs S A GB Ch Kellynack Zoom Zoom SOFT COATED WHEATEN JUDGE WINDSOR 13 Soft-coated Wheaten Terriers A most enjoyable high quality entry & what very sweet charming friendly characters they are, really living up to their name of ripening wheat in the lovely warm sunlight. V (1) 1 Herbert’s Ch Caidantes That’s Ma Boy, 11 years young, of such good proportions, in splendid coat & hard muscular condition, large nose with big healthy nostrils, still with the darkest of pigment & eye rims, moved well with good tailset & carriage. BV. PD (3) 1 Mapson’s Abiqua Wild Jack Of Hearts, 6 months & already a mature sophisticated showman, well made all through with lovely head, eye, expression & pigment, scoring on his layback of shoulder, well balanced & an excellent mover, if just a little overproud of his tail although he had moments of relaxation when it improved greatly, in excellent coat of rich colour. BP; 2 Satherley & Gibbons’ Silkcroft No More Games, just a little longer in foreface but with good finish to muzzle, excellent pigment, happy & energetic on the move. JD (1) 1 Adams’ Saffini Crazy For You, very happy, friendly character with well set & carried tail constantly a-wag, good head & expression, decent shoulder in excellent coat & condition. Pigment not at its best currently although pads were very dark in comparison. Good steady accurate mover. PGD (1) 1 Mapson’s Zaraslake Sirocco, well balanced with firm compact body & well shaped head, in hard condition with excellent topline & tailset, level bite, darkest of pigment contrasting sharply against his pale coat, very good mover. LD (1) 1 Godwin’s Stevelyn Walk Of Life, would insist on boring down on his lead but showed moments of brilliance & managed to prove he can move very well when he tries, good head, coat & condition with well set & carried tail. OD (3) A high quality class. 1 Walklin’s Ch Kellynack Zoom Zoom, spoilt for choice for 1st place between two beautiful dogs, both so typy, chock full of quality & so well made all through, deep through the heart with the best of tailsets & carriage, in splendid coat & hard condition with excellent mouths & pigment, loved this one’s angulation giving him such a ground covering stride. BOB; 2 Fallon’s Ch Janeyjimjams Jenson, so close up with a gorgeous head, eye & expression, perhaps marginally more compact & balanced but this was truly splitting hairs, moved absolutely beautifully, 2 outstanding dogs, both so worthy of their titles. RBD; 3 Kenneally’s Loofahsa Hakuna Matata. GC (1) 1 Williams’ Dohoci A Kind Of Magic, such a sweetheart with a charming expression, good mouth & pigment, so happy, willing & eager to please & proved to be one of the most accurate movers coming & going, good for size & type if a touch long in body but with good topline & tailset. PB (1) 1 Herbert’s Calvenace She’s The One, just 6 months but nonetheless a very sophisticated showgirl with good tailset & reach of neck, sweet head & expression. A little long in body as yet, moved very well for age. JB (3) 1 Phillips & Gullick’s Jaeva Orange Blossom, gorgeous feminine youngster with the wow factor, so well balanced & quite lovely for size, type, make & shape with well angulated shoulders & hindquarters, already in hard muscular condition & good coat for age with excellent pigment, super sound & positive on the move, keeping her topline & holding herself proudly with good reach of neck & well carried tail, most exciting, is something very special, delighted to hear she is proving herself a worthy daughter of the BOB. BB; 2 Grant’s Dannebriel Cirque Surreal, good finish to foreface, dark pigment, good shoulder, neck & topline, went well; 3 Busby’s Calvenace Minnie Ha-Ha at Zakby. PGB (2) 1 Busby’s Calvenace Killer Queen at Zakby, feminine with good layback of shoulder, firm body, excellent topline & pigment, scored on balance if a little over proud of her tail, very good mover; 2 D A Kind Of Magic. LB (0). OB (6) 1 Withington’s Ch Fantasa Blonde Lilley, the ultimate showgirl, compactly balanced & so well made all through with good layback of shoulder & turn of stifle, in excellent coat & hard muscular condition, very impressive on the move, holding herself proudly & keeping her strong topline with great reach & drive. RBB; 2 Grant’s Kellynack The Fabulous Fox, lovely head & expression, so good for size, type, make & shape, scored on pigment & coat with very good topline & tailset, excellent mover; 3 Satherley’s Silkcroft Colour Of Magic.
