SOFT COATED WHEATEN WELSH KC 11 Judge: Mrs E M C Boak SOFT COATED WHEATEN JUDGE WELSH KC 11 Soft-coated Wheaten Terriers PD (2) 1 Dunhill’s Fantasa Blonde Neville, very attractive compact 7 months, correct angulation front & rear, moved well retaining topline, typical head & expression, good coat for age; 2 Francis’ Amaricy Buffallo Soldier, strong masculine head with good pigment, deep colour. Preferred rear movement of 1. JD (6) 1 Fallon’s Janeyjimjams Jenson, stood out in this class, compact dog of correct size, typical head & expression, neat ears, good front & shoulders, correct angulation at rear leading to good movement; 2 Maleary’s Saffini Teenage Sensation, attractive dog with lovely coat colour & texture. Lost his topline a bit on the move; 3 Wright’s Kariskiye Horrid Henry for Abbeymead. PGD (0). LD (3) 1 Carter’s Chloeanco Hunni Dream, at the larger end of the spectrum, quite long in head. Good reach of neck, coat falling nicely in soft waves; 2 Johnson’s Garsayno Gold Freeman, slightly longer cast than 1. Nice colour & moved well enough; 3 Hobson’s Abiqua Wild Knight Romance. OD (5) 1 Dunhill’s Fantasa Blonde Kaos, silky coat of good colour, well proportioned & masculine but not too big, typical head & expression. CC; 2 Naylor’s Peteneira P’Ticularly Pete with Amaricy, typical Wheaten expression with big nose, silky coat with wave falling nicely. RCC; 3 Lawrence’s Snowmeadow Numinous Nilo. PB (3) 1 Moles & Williams’ Kinaelan Cachique, good bite & pigment. Quite a bit of black in coat at the moment otherwise very mature for 6 months; 2 Smith’s Amaricy Don’t Rock My Boat, lovely feminine expression. Rather erratic on the move & did not really understand what was required of her. Topline not as good as 1. Nice bitch nonetheless; 3 Noble’s Pippajam All That Glitters. JB (6) 1 Barrett’s Saffini Truly Madly Deeply, well bodied 17 months. Up to size but feminine in expression. Well balanced with sufficient angulation resulting in good movement front & rear, good colour; 2 Wardle’s Saffini Yours Truly, short coupled, compact, coat with good wave & colour, feminine expression; 3 Hammond & Evans’ Calvenace Rogagh. PGB (3) 1 Lawrence’s Emalot Little Miss Star, typical happy feminine looking Wheaten, moved well enough, wavy soft coat; 2 Witheyman’s Steefsgrace Dutch Kiss by Dascol, nice enough shape but pale colour & coat rather frizzy at present. LB (11) 1 Grant’s Kellynack The Fabulous Fox, well proportioned head, mature bitch, compact but not exaggerated in anyway, moved well, coat falling nicely; 2 Naylor’s Amaricy Femme Fatal, silky coat of nice colour, big black nose, feminine expression. Preferred rear movement of 1; 3 Hammond & Evans’ Calvenace Toppa Totty. OB (10) 1 Naylor’s Ch Kazeen Hot Deception at Amaricy, well proportioned mature bitch, well bodied with good depth of chest. Silky coat of good colour even if cut rather short in places! Black pigment, good movement & really strode out. CC & BOB; 2 Webster’s Kazeen Too Hot To Rock, good for size & overall shape, coat falling nicely. RCC; 3 Morrey’s Tobamorrey Ain’t I Precious. EILEEN BOAK |
