TSCWTC Of GB Ch 13 Judge

THE SOFT COATED WHEATEN TERIER CLUB OF GB

The Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of Great Britain held a ch show where BIS was Ch Janey Jimjams Jenson; BOS, Calvenance Fat Bottomed Girl for Flaxela; & BP, Daisymaes Enforcer.

It is always a pleasure to judge SCWT & more so at this club show. I had a very enjoyable day & thank the organisers & the exhibitors for such pleasing entry.

As always it is a matter of compromise regarding coat presentation & type but the construction is the premier consideration. I found heads were more typical than last time I judged but mouths became an issue in the latter classes in each sex.

My top winners pleased me immensely & in my view fitted the Standard correctly.

1 Ch Loofahsa Teenage Dirtbag, lovely start to the judging to see this very typical dog who has good construction & such a free mover for his age, balanced head & correct eye, neat ear, true front & level topline with a well set tail, lovely coat texture.

1 Emalot Golden Delicious at Starzak, another dog of good size & shape, balanced head, neat well placed ears, true front standing, good topline & tailset, lovely colour;

2 Ch Caidantes That’s My Boy, a favourite of mine with great neck & shoulders, balanced head, deep ribs & strong quarters. A touch longer coupled than 1.

1 Amaricy Bullet Proof, a promising dog puppy with a lovely head & eye, very good in front, correct mouth, lovely short coupled body, well set tail, coat coming along well;

2 Kariskiye Dickie Mint, a touch bigger pup. In lovely coat of good colour, balanced head of good shape, lovely ear carriage. Needs training to become more confident.

1 Daisymaes Enforcer, appealing dog with lovely crested neck, great shoulder placement & true front, quality head & eye, correct mouth, good bone & topline, well set tail, moves freely. BPIS. JD 1 Northridge Gotan Go, a dog of correct size & shape, has a balanced head of good shape, dark eye, well placed shoulders, strong quarters & kept his outline on the move;

2 Silkcroft No More Games, very stylish dog of good size, lovely head & eye, correct mouth. Preferred the shoulder placement of 1. Short coupled body, nicely angulated quarters;

3 Strasallagh Aleksander.

1 Manawyddan I Got Rhythmn, Irish type of dog with a very appealing shape, lovely head & eye. Would prefer flatter ear carriage. Lovely outline with level topline, very sound on the move. Could have heavier bone for his size;

2 N Gotan Go;

3 Thistlebe Mr Bojangles.

ND

1 Sweetiweeti Toffee Crunch, well grown dog of nice type & shape, head & eye are correct, also his bite. Moves very well behind but front movement could be better. Lovely clear colour & coat texture;

2 Starcadia Olympic Goldnson;

3 K Dickie Mint.

1 Saffini Crazy For You, his very clear rich colouring appeals immediately, good head & eye, true front with enough bone, very short coupled to give a square appearance;

2 Dohoci Somebody To Love, paler coloured dog of good type, his head is wedge shaped with a dark eye. Moved to the side coming & going which hindered precise movement;

3 Garsayno Gold Icon.

2 Kinaelan Calamanco, this dog has a nice shape but could be a clearer colour. Very free mover in front, deep body with pleasing head & eye

1 Kinaelan Finlandia Finnian, Irish type of good construction, lovely neck & shoulder, stands true in front with a good topline & well set tail, lovely angulation behind. Would prefer more parallel movement in front;

2 Glendowan Tarquol, another Irish type who is slightly smaller & finer than 1. That said he is lovely to go over with a balanced head, good eye, well set tail, showed steadily;

3 Emalot Mister Happy.

1 Daisymaes Desmond Decker, lovely type & size, wedge shaped head & dark eye, correct mouth, very good front movement, level topline & well set tail, enough coat to show colour & waves;

2 Fantasa Blonde Neville, handy dog of good shape & size, his outline is enhanced with a crested neck into very well placed shoulders, good body & rib, well presented coat of clear colour. Not as precise in front as 1;

Denzilly Tickle Me Elmo.

OD

1 Ch Janey Jimjams Jenson, headed this really lovely class. Appeals with a classic outline & clear colour, lovely neck & shoulder, good eye giving a good expression, very good front & level topline, lovely bone & ring presence, carried enough coat which had been well prepared & allowed to hang in waves, moved really well at a steady pace. CC & BIS;

2 Sw/Ir Ch Seamrog Cactus Lime at Garsayno, 1 has the glamour but this Irish type of dog has the soundness & free movement. Has very good construction with enough bone & substance, lovely coat texture & kept his outline on the move. Won RCC in good competition;

3 Middlebury Shooting Star.

1 Ch Kinaelan Cuchylaene, a great favourite of mine, so pleased to see her here. Good type & so sound on the move, great coat texture;

2 Denzilly Lovely Jubbly, this girl had to be reminded this was a veteran class, very unruly but of good shape & carrying a good coat;

3 Canicula the Elven Queen.

1 Ch/Ir Ch Snowmeadow Jilly, a good type of bitch with a lovely clear colour, kept her outline in profile, very happy disposition, carrying a lovely body;

2 Tayjen Dream Spell, neat headed bitch of lovely type, deep ribs & clear colour, showed well;

3 Ch/Ir Ch Snowmeadow Hetti Hopscotch at Starzak.

1 Sidereal’s Essence Of Time, handy bitch of good size & shape for her age, coat coming along nicely, balanced head & dark eye, correct mouth;

2 Calvenace Kichi, not quite as forward as 1 but should end up a lovely bitch. Balanced head, lovely front & very happy on the move, lovely coat texture;

3 Calvenace Jacala. PB 1 Calvenace She’s The One at Julibdd, very neat balanced bitch of good type, lovely mouth, well placed shoulders, carrying a good body, correct coat colour & texture, very promising;

2 Janeyjimjams Jive Queen, very promising bitch who is good to go over, just lost out to the winner in front movement but has plenty of time so should do well;

3 S Essence Of Time.

JB

1 Starcadia Olympic Diva, lovely type of bitch & colour reminded me so much of the colour seen many years ago. Well placed shoulders, carrying a lovely body, well set tail, sympathetically handled to get the best from her;

2 Kariskiye Tip Top Ticky to Abbeymead, larger & not as compact as 1. Of good type, paler in colour but with good texture;

3 Braelochyen Koh-i-noor.

YB

1 B Koh-i-noor, an Irish type which has a lovely shape being well constructed but with finer bone. She needs time to develop but shows potential;

2 Calvenance Minnie HaHa at Zakby, another carrying this prefix in the cards here of good type. She had been closely trimmed so there was no fall to her coat but it was of good texture;

3 Braelochyen Blue Express.

NB

1 S Olympic Diva;

2 Loofahsa Hip Hop, not quite as compact as the winner but overall a lovely shape. Well placed shoulders & good topline. Just needs to body up.

1 Saffini One And Only, lovely youngster who is very well balanced throughout, good type of head, good eye & mouth, lovely coat & colour with good texture & enough length level topline;

2 Calvenance Cooley Thistle, very shapey bitch, typical of the breeding. Balanced head & well placed shoulders, level topline. Not so steady in front on the move as 1;

3 Calvenance Connemara.

1 Garsayno Gold Imp, an attractive bitch of good clear colour, has a balanced head & good eye shape, true front & level topline, moved out well;

2 Dohoci Bohemian Rhapsody, very honest bitch of good type with clear colour. She could carry more weight to advantage. Good head with neat well placed ears;

3 Kinaelan Cabiai.

MLB

1 Kirktonhill Look No Further, bitch of good type & sound on the move keeping her outline, quite well constructed. Coat carries too much colour;

2 Fantasa Blonde Nell, larger framed bitch than 1. Her coat is better in colour being clear & of good texture, looked good stacked. Front movement was not as precise as 1;

3 Saffini Truly Madly Deeply.

1 Calvenance Fat Bottomed Girl for Flaxela, bitch of good type & size, very well balanced throughout, presents a lovely shape & is sound on the move, well prepared coat which falls onto waves, well placed shoulders on a good body, showed steadily. CC;

2 Snowmeadow Peggy Phurrari, very much like 1 in make & shape, carried more coat of clear colour

3 Orliscwt Lillee The Pink.

What a numerically strong class, 19 entries, one withdrawn. There were some suspect mouths present here.

1 Ch Denzilly Toot Sweet, very sound honest bitch who is a steady showgirl, balanced head & dark eye, neat ear, has a true front & level topline with a well set tail. RCC;

2 Starzak Solid Gold Ez Action, mature bitch of good type, lovely fall to her coat, balanced head & well placed shoulders, showed well & with confidence;

3 Ch Silkcroft Colour Of Magic.
