SOFT COATED WHEATEN JUDGE SOUTHERN COUNTIES 17

Soft-coated Wheaten Terriers

PD (5)

1 BP, Satherley & Johnstone’s Cameron Fighting Spirit for Silkcroft, took this class on head quality being more refined & flatter in skull with strong foreface. Excellent balance with positive outline, noble neck carriage, hard level topline with good set on, moved well from any angle. Coat could have finer texture, good colour. Right development for age;

2 Withington’s Fantasa Blonde Rufus, excellent coat, good balanced profile with correct angulation, nice neck & topline set on, moves well. Good head type & outlook;

3 Thoburn’s Northridge Me And Tennessee.

JD (0).

PGD (3)

1 Tilley’s Janeyjimjams Jubilee Star at Starzak, nice all round which gave him this class. Very good head, nice neck, topline & set on, good coat & substance. Firmly articulated, moves soundly;

2 Gurney’s Phoenix Whisper, took this place on his nice typy headpiece. Good Irish coat, moves soundly. Presentation could improve the perception of the overall picture of a rather raw body quality;

3 Williams’ Flaxela Living Legend of Gwendonydd.

LD (3)

1 Blandford’s Janeyjimjams Joshua, quality headpiece, eyes, ears & expression. Good neck, topline, set on coat. Well constructed & moved accordingly;

2 Dunhill-Hall’s Mother’s Finest Jon Snow at Fantasa, elegant profile, reachy neck, good topline & tailset, strong well angulated rear, moved soundly. In good coat, nice size. Balanced head, would like flatter skull;

3 Bristow’s Denzilly Sweet Destiny for Avard.

OD (8)

1 CC & BOB, Meister & Brooks’ Silkcroft Crests Of Waves, I thought this dog outstanding, not only was he physically very correct in both stance & movement but has attitude & nobility, quality head & expression, good coat, possess that symmetrical flow of line which fills the eye;

2 RCC, Curati’s Multi Ch Legally Blonde Wolverine, this dog is not far behind & demanded serious consideration. Generally similar in profile, physically not quite as well articulated, but close;

3 Williams’ Snowmeadow Peregrine Piper.

V (4,1a)

1 BV, Williams’ Ch Brynhir Rochelle Lil Rock, her all round balanced profile, well coordinated movement, good coat & very good head & expression contributed to her harmony of appearance which gave her the day;

2 Ford’s Kanjuley Scarlet And Gold, typical head & expression, nice neck, good angulation, coat, overall well balanced, moving soundly;

3 Bristow’s Kellynack Viva La Passione for Avard.

GC (2,1)

1 Busby’s Calvenace Killer Queen at Zakby, good typical overall type & balance, copped by a very good head & expression. Moves soundly without reach. Basically too short.

PB (4)

1 Satherley & Meis’ Silkcroft Some Magic Rose, this is a lovely puppy who if she & her handler get on the same page will go to the top;

2 Williams’ Evesvale Rio Ria, this is a nice puppy with some good winning in her grasp. Again handler & pup not working together;

3 Jones’ Saffini Suga Pie Honey Bunch.

JB (1)

1 Atyeo’s Kanuley Scarlet Rose, nice Irish type, good head & outlook, pleased in neck, topline & set on, coat, moved soundly. Angulation could be improved.

PGB (5)

1 Grant’s Dannebriel Gladly Godetia, she stood out in this class for all round quality & correctness. I felt her worthy of a serious look in the challenge;

2 Satherley’s Silkcroft Auroras Encore, neat, tidy, nice size, good oat & colour, good head, neck, topline & set on, well angulated rear, moves soundly;

3 Rogers’ Kizzahla Kiss And Tell.

LB (10,3)

1 Howes’ Flaxela New Vision at Daisymaes, really nice all round from her very pleasing head, neck, topline & set on, angulation & articulation, moved well. Nice coat, in the challenge looked a little immature, though gave me cause for thought;

2 Barrett’s Saffini Sugar And Spice, very good head & expression, nice neck, topline & set on, coat, well angulated rear, moved soundly, an overall quality bitch;

3 Gale’s Flaxela Drop Dead Gorgeous.

OB (5)

1 CC, Munn’s Snowmeadow Peggy Phurrari, good scopy outline, giving provision for good angulation front & rear with subsequent reach of neck, level topline, good tail carriage. Moves true all round. Liked her head & expression, coat, large light loose curls;

2 Rogers’ Ch Kizzahla Dreamsicle, this is a really honest good moving, typy, good coated bitch with quality headpiece. She has it all to do herself & when she strides out begins to show her virtues which are aplenty;

3 Satherley’s Silkcroft Sky Full Of Stars.
