SOFT COATED WHEATEN SKC MAY 24 Judge: Mrs C Collins-Neill SOFT COATED WHEATEN JUDGE SKC MAY 24 PD (1) 1 Wynter & Satherley’s Lakkas Yankee Sweet Silkcroft (Imp Swe) Super balance on this young boy. Liked his head proportions and expression. Good neck into well laid shoulders. Firm topline and tailset. Good substance for his age. Moved really well with purpose and looked super in profile going round. Look forward to seeing him as the finished article. Really liked him as did consider for RCC. Best Puppy & Puppy Group 2. JD (1) 1 McIntyre’s Thistlebe Master Of The Malt. Well off for size and substance. Balanced head and typical expression. Ok in neck and shoulder. Well ribbed. Moved soundly but not really putting in his finest performance. Good coat and colour. LD (1) 1 Herbert’s Saffini Smooth Operator at Julibidd. Real decent type of a boy. Liked his balance. Good head and expression, topline and tailset. Deep chested and well ribbed. Balanced angles fore and aft. Moved soundly. Well presented. OD (3) On initial inspection I thought these 3 boys had much to appreciate and hands on proved that they were super examples of the breed. All presented in excellent condition. 1 Satherley’s Am Can Ch Keepsake’s No Jacket Required (Imp Can) I loved the balance on this boy! His head, earset and expression are great. He has a lovely neck which flows into well laid, clean shoulders. His topline is rock solid. Super ribs with a short strong loin. His rear is perfectly angulated and his tail is bang on. As lovely as he is on the stack, he is even better on the move. His footfalls are perfect. He strides out with reach and his rear movement sealed the deal for me. I loved him. CC & BOB and delighted to see him take Group 3. 2 Satherley’s Ch Silkcroft Shake It Off. Standing four square, this boy presented a very good balanced picture. Lovely head with good eye and expression. Good neck and shoulders. Firm, level topline, correct ribs and loin. Well angulated rear and good tailset. Moved really soundly. RCC. 3 Clarke’s Ch Flaxela Perfect Storm (ai) JB (1) 1 Lui’s Eblanahalls Kiss Curl JW. Well balanced girl with a feminine head and good expression. She is moderately angulated in the front and has a solid topline. Well ribbed. Good tailset and rear angles. Moved soundly. Nice coat which was well presented. PGB (1) 1 Ross’s Keridown Cadence N Cascade. Well balanced with good head proportions and typical expression. A little wider in front than ideal. Firm topline, good ribs. Moved ok if a little close behind. Good coat & condition. LB (4) 1 Satherley’s Silkcroft Place Your Bets. Good for type and balance. Liked her head and expression. Enough neck into well placed shoulders. Well ribbed with short loin. Firm topline and tailset. Good angulation. Moved really soundly. Good coat and condition. 2 Lui’s Eblanahalls Gold Limerence JW. Not the biggest girl but she is well balanced. Nice head and expression. Angles fore and aft are complimentary. Well ribbed and has a firm topline. Moved well. Presented in good coat and condition. 3 Tilley’s Brynhir Born To Boogie at Starzak JW. OB (5) Another excellent open class full of quality. I know I made you all work hard for your places but really was a tight class. 1 Satherley’s Ch Silkcroft Never Miss A Beat. Spot on for type and balance. Liked the proportions of her head, earset and expression. Good length of neck into well laid shoulders. Great ribs and short loin. Firm, level topline and super tailset. Well angulated rear which she used to advantage on the move. Effortless going around. Lovely coat and condition. BCC. 2 Satherley’s Ch Silkcroft Fortune And Glory JW. The apple certainly didn’t fall far from the tree with this girl. On hearing that she was the daughter of my Bitch CC winner, is it any wonder I appreciated her many qualities. Super for type and balance and hard fit. Balanced fore and aft. Great neck and shoulders. Well off for ribs and a short loin. Another who could move all day. RCC. 3 Witheyman & Satherley’s Ch Silkcroft Born This Way JW. VB (1) 1 Lui’s Thistlebe Them There Eyes at Eblanahalls Sh CM Sh Cex VW. This lovely lady certainly belied her 11 years.
