SOFT COATED WHEATEN JUDGE SKC MAY 19

It’s a long way for many to Scotland but the good ones tend to travel in most breeds and my stint today reflected that.

PGD (3)

1 Taylor’s Eblanahalls Silkbeard At Raisingsands. Stood away here. Smart, not overdone. Correct flat skull, has stop, muzzle is square ending at big black nose. Body has good coupling. In good order and went on well.

2 Bingham’s Killeshin Fionn (IKC). All terriers in attitude. Decent enough to go over. Shows masculinity. Went on round ok.

3 Taylor’s Eblanahalls Teckle Ish At Raisingsands.

LD (1)

1 Patterson’s Snowmeadow Sauls Symphony To Gavleash.

2 year with super personality. Flat skull with brain room, clean cheeks, correct stop and has strong muzzle. Flowing neck through decent shoulders Firm back. Correct depth to leg. Good bum and width behind with decent set on. Went with carriage and attitude. Pleasing soft, well prepared coat. Deserved his win here.

OD (6,1)

1 Blandford’s Janeyjimjams Joshua. Really liked this well proportioned dog. He is of correct size and shape. Really well balanced head, correct skull, clean cheeks good stop square muzzle housing big white teeth. Muscled neck well laid shoulders and neat elbow from return of upper arm. Square with firm back and short loin. Width to rump. Excels in soft silky coat and in full bloom. Went with positive purpose. CC & BOB.

2 Withington’s Ch Fantasa Blonde Rufus. Very smart, typical well handled dog, who apparently was my best puppy last time. As he is masculine, well constructed and balanced with typical proportions, he presents a noticeable picture of the breed. He is expertly handled to display his quality standing and moving. Just not in full bloom today, but close up, to win Res CC.

3 Tilley’s Janeyjimjams Jubilee Star At Starzak ShCM.

VD (2)

1 McIntyre’s Thistlebe Mr Bojangles ShCM. Easy ground cover from this well constructed dog. Appealed for size and balance. He holds his firm outline all the time. Good to go over, able to find what is needed for the breed. BV.

2 Gent’s Lyntonlepraz Darbello Lad ShCM. Expertly prepared and gleaming silky coat. Good head piece with big black nose. Firm outline and decent proportions. Decent tail set and carriage. Moved ok.

GCDS D (1)

1 Mackenzie’s Kirktonhill Rumour Has It ShCM. 6 years, well presented and handled. Alert, active, firm and balanced shape. Firm back good set on and big bum.

PB (2)

1 Connor’s Regalred Miss Money Penny. Only 7 months, but what a star. Gorgeous head, flat skull, clean cheeks, super dark eye and correct stop. The fore face is square with width to under jaw. Shapely with strong dry neck, depth of body to elbow and short coupled body with firm back line. Grand developed quarters with strength in muscle. Confident going with long stride and economical action. Super gleaming silky coat. Totally charming. BP & Res CC.

2 Johnson’s Garsayno Gold Madonna. 10 month cheeky (which does it for me !) This sweet bitch has type and balance. Super head nothing weak and well proportioned. Compact and correct in body for age. Moved ok. She should come on well with maturity. Two useful youngsters.

JB (1)

1 McIntyre’s Thistlebe My Mystic Topaz. 14 month, very feminine with pleasing head, good eye and excellent mouth. Arched neck. Did enough but a touch overawed in this noisy hall. Not in her best coat today.

PGB (7,1)

1 Macaulay’s Keridown All Night Long. Smart, feminine with no weak points. Very pleasing head, balance of skull, good stop, strength in jaw. Neat front, filled body. Uses her quarters on the move, holding herself together. Soft coat in good condition.

2 Hammond & Evans’ Calvenace Lady Is A Tramp. So naughty but her quality shines through – at times! She will be in for a pleasing future as has lots going for her and is sound with type. Just needs to learn to listen and get a grip of it.

3 Herbert’s Julibidd Maybe I’m Amazed.

LB (1)

1 Gent & Lees’ Flaxela My Secret Love At Sumirick. Substantial, but not over sized. Does not always concentrate on the job in hand, but to be fair she can’t stand wrong and she is a terrier! Typical head, good balance throughout with quality bone. She moved ok.

OB (4,1)

1 Howes’ Flaxela New Vision At Daisymaes. Presents an overall picture of type. She is upstanding, medium throughout and has confidence with a touch of the devil, all adding up to what a terrier should be. Her skull is flat with brain room, small v shaped ear set and used to enhance outlook. Has stop, strength in muzzle with width to underjaw. Her neck provides elegance with arch from muscle and flows through good forehand. Compact body, firm topline and big bum. Strong hocks and developed quarters. She moves on with deportment and good tail. Love silky gleaming coat. CC.

2 Herbert’s Calvenace She’s The One At Julibidd. Very tidy, honest bitch. She is alert, good expression from well fitting dark eye. Good make and shape, she has strength, losing no femininity. Well turned out with soft silky coat.

3 Bingham’s Killeshin Bbeatrice.

SBB (1)

1 Macaulay’s Keridown Western Star. 2 years. Ultra feminine and presented in lovely condition and coat. She has a pleasing outline depicting type. Went well with fluid action. SB.

GCDS B (1)

1 Macgregor’s Kirktonhill What I Believe ShCM. 6 years. Pleasing presentation. Pleasing head, big black nose, well boned. Decent body and has good quarters with firm hocks. Went ok.
