SOFT COATED WHEATEN MIDLAND COUNTIES 23 Judge: Stuart Plane MPD (2) 1 Teaghlach Angel Kinaelan (Hanna) A very promising youngster, immature as yet but the correct construction is there, balanced head, good eye correct mouth, well placed ears, lovely neck and shoulder, correct topline and well set tail. His colour is clear and the coat texture is correct. Obviously needs time as he is only 6 months old. 2 Crofftysofty Hay Jude (Amel-Azizpour) Another well constructed pup with a quality head, good eye and correct mouth, enough rib and well set tail. On the move he was not as settled as the winner. Should have a good future. 1 Manawyddan Beautiful Noise (Harries). Another Irish type of paler colour, a well grown young man with a fairly long head, good eye, lovely bone, his topline is correct and has a decent tailset, he has a lengthy stride and covered plenty of ground, lovely coat texture, Still a little immature in body. 1 Bridestones Red Cinnabar (Balchin) A balanced dog of good size and presents a good outline, his head is of good proportions with a dark eye well placed ears, true on front enough bone, lovely topline and tail set, well angulated quarters, His coat is of good texture and colour. He moves well both coming and going. 2 Denzilly Golden Compass (Hookway & Mason) A lovely wedge shaped head which seems to be lacking in other males, dark eye and well placed ears, good neck and shoulder into a good front, enough rib and good coupling and well set tail, lovely coat texture and colour. On the move he seemed to be holding back and not showing such a good stride as the winner. 3 Calvenace House of Fun (Gent & Gent & Williams). 1 Ch Flaxela Perfect Storm (ai) (Clarke) A very masculine looking dog of correct type but in no way coarse, balanced, well shaped head, dark eye giving a good expression, well boned front which is true standing, well placed shoulders into a lovely rib and coupling, muscular quarters. His coat had enough length to enable it to hang in soft waves, On the move he has a lengthy stride and keeps his outline, Pleased to award him the CC. 2 Ch House of Softy Indus (Imp Swe) (Charleton). Another well balanced dog who made strong competition for the first, He too has the correct head shape, dark eye, well placed ears, laid back shoulders onto a short coupled body which has enough rib, well angulated quarters, good tail set. Clear colour and well textured coat falling in correct waves RCC. 3 Flaxela Illuminati (ai) JW (Clarke). 1 Eblanahalls Aye Right (Lui) A good type of dog who is a lovely clear colour, his head is balanced, dark eye, correct mouth, well placed shoulders and he has a true front. He certainly gives of his best on the move, in super condition without showing his age BV. 1 Manawyddan Beautiful Noise (Harries). 1 Denzilly Poppet Magic (ai) (Ronan) Headed the class of two lovely pups, both show great promise. At first this youngster was a touch apprehensive but quickly got her act together, she has a typical good head, lovely eye and expression.correct front and well placed shoulders, lovely topline and shows steadily. She was sound and covered plenty of ground. Rich colour and good coat texture, well presented. 2 Denzilly Waking The Witch (ai) (Dowdy) This pup has so much to like her for, and so similar remarks apply. Although more confident than the winner to begin with, she was not quite as steady on the move. Feel sure they will change places many times. 1 Eblanahalls Kiss Curl (Lui) Much older than the two in the previous class and therefore more mature. She is a quality bitch with a good head and eye, correct mouth with big teeth, lovely neck and shoulders and has tight elbows, lovely topline on a lovely ribbed body and substance with well angulated quarters, moves and shows with confidence BP. 1 Silkcroft Fortune and Glory (Satherley & Satherley & Billingham) I feel this is a quality bitch of good size and very well constructed, balanced head and dark eye, correct mouth, lovely neck and shoulder onto a well ribbed short, coupled body, nicely angulated behind but on the move comes into her own. Her foot fall was so precise and she covers a lot of ground. However she gave me great thought. She has a good coat texture and is an acceptable colour but her coat needed length to hang in waves as the standard describes. I decided her construction should win the day and so CC and BOB. 1 Clanhanna A Kind of Magic for Emalot (ai) (Wassall) A most lovely headed bitch of lovely type with a dark eye and neat ears. Enough neck onto well placed shoulders with a good rib and muscular quarters, clear coloured coat of good texture, showed well. 1 Keevasdream Ballerina Blue JW (Hughlock) A very attractive bitch of good shape. She has a quality head, dark eye, correct mouth. Sound well-constructed front of good bone with enough rib and substance Pleasing toplineand well carried tail. She won this class on her free movement and footfall. 2 Brynhir Born to Boogie at Starzak JW (Tilley) I did like the outline of this bitch and she pushed the winner hard. She is very pleasing to go over and not exaggerated in any way. I felt she was not giving of her best on the move, although she was very steady but wished she had put more into her performance. She has a clear coat of good texture. 3 Silkcroft Place Your Bets (Satherley). 1 Ch Silkcroft Never Miss A Beat (Satherley) Another well constructed bitch who is apparently mother to the CC winner and similar remarks apply. Her construction won her the RCC. Another good moving bitch. 2 House of Softy Indi Janeyjimjams (Imp Swe) (Charleton) Another lovely bitch of quality and style, she has a good head, dark eye, correct mouth, well boned front which is true,, lovely rib and enough substance, strong muscular quarters, Clear in colour and of correct texture, hanging in waves. 3 Ch Flaxela Flirtini at Daisymaes JW (ai) (Howes). 1 Thistlebe Them There Eyes at Eblanahalls ShCM ShCEx VW (Lui) At over 10 years this bitch is in great condition, still in fine form and shows her construction to advantage, did not hesitate to move with verve and so sound for her age. 2 Ch Silkcroft Sky Full of Stars ShCM Ir J Ch (Satherley). Similar in size to the winner, with a good head, true front, lovely topline and well angulated quarters. |
