Please Sign This Petition To Stop The Practice Of Professional Handlers Judging Whilst Still Plying Their Trade SOFT-COATED WHEATEN TERRIERS I would like to thank the officers & committee of LKA for their kind invitation to judge at this well run show & also their hospitality. I would also like to thank the exhibitors for providing me with an excellent entry to assess. I noted that compared to my last judging appointment overall the majority of the mature adults had the correct coat colour ie a shade of ripening wheat. And bites in general were very good. I found temperaments to be excellent without exception. MPD (6) 1. Mort s Regalred Russian Prince, 6 months. Excellent head properties with correct bite. Good shoulders & rear angulation. Enough neck, level topline & Correct tailset. Lovely wheaten colour to coat, moved well. BPD 2. Charleton s Janeyjimjams Jonah, 6 months. Good head & correct scissor bite. Level topline. Longer cast than 1. More wave to coat than 1 at this stage & also has a decent colour. Moved & handled well. 3. Blandford s Janeyjimjams Joshua PD (5:1a) 1. Charleton s Janeyjimjams Jonah 2. Blandford s Janeyjimjams Joshua, 6 months. Another with a decent head & correct scissor bite. Squarer in outline & shoulder placement ok. Coat of good texture for age. 3. Glew s Braelochyen Abracadabra JD (3) 1. Revis Tiareko Niflheim s Wizard, Liked his overall balance. Lovely head properties, dark hazel eyes. Correct bite. Straight front with excellect shoulder placement. Level topline with good tailset. Well angulated rear. Moved out with purpose. 2. Johnson s Kinaelan Halsey, Irish in type with a Masculine head, dark eye and strong pigmentation. Lovely length of neck with pleasing shoulder placement. Level topline. Coat maturing well for his age. Good rear angulation, just preferred movement of first. 3. Carter s Zaraslake Indiana Twist From Chloeanco PGD (2) 1. Mann s Starcadia Olympic Goldson, Good overall balance & well bodied. Masculine head with correct scissor bite. Decent shoulders & deep chest. Coat of correct wheaten colour. Moved OK 2. Calvert & Naylor s Amaricy Bullet Proof, Pleasing head properties & correct bite. Good length of neck and lay of shoulders. Enough rear angulation. Would prefer him to carry a little more weight at this stage of his developement. LD (4) 1. Howes Daisymaes Enforcer, Excellent head, correct scissor bite and dark pigmentation. Lovely reach of neck. Very good shoulder placement, deep chest, level topline & good tailset. Coat has soft texture and wave. Lovely rear angulation moved straight fore & aft with drive 2. Griffiths Manawyddan I Got Rhythmn, Irish in type, good head properties. Enough neck, level topline & straight front. Deep chest. Moved with drive. Lovely mature coat with super sheen. 3. Johnstone s Whitevale Motorway Madness. OD (7:1a) 1. Howes Daisymaes Desmond Decker, Excellent type, square & well balanced. Liked his head properties very much. Good reach of neck, well placed shoulders and straight front. Deep chest, level topline & excellent tailset. Very good rear angulation, moving with power round the ring. CC & BOB 2. Fallon s Ch Janeyjimjams Jenson, Shares many of the same attibutes as 1. Liked his head properties, shoulder placement & depth of chest. Good topline & tailset. Moved out well enough but today lacked the ring presence &attitude of the winner RCC 3. Matti & Omitogun s Frontline Mr Feelgood. VD (1) 1. Barrett s Ch Loofahsa Teenage Dirtbag, 10 year old very much enjoying his time in the ring. Good head properties, enough neck & deep chest. Level topline and correct tailset. Adequate rear angulation. Coat soft with correct wave. Moved out well. BV. MPB (8) Some very good puppies in this class and some tough decisions to be made 1. Connor s Regalred Russian Romance, 6 months. Littermate to MPD winner & I loved her overall balance & expression. Correct scissor bite. Lovely neck & shoulder placement. Good depth of chest for age, level topline & good rear angulation. Moved out well with drive BP 2. Bott s Whitevale Sweet Butterfly, 6 months. Very feminine bitch who is square, balanced in outline & short coupled. Correct dentition. Good neck & shoulder placement with level topline. Coat of lovely colour & texture. Moved out well. 3. Hughlock Janeyjinjams Jolene PB (6) 1. Shrive s Emalot Santa Maria, 11 months. Liked her overall balance. Pleasing head properties with lovely expression. Lovely reach of neck & correct shoulder placement. Level topline & good tail set. Adequate rear angulation. Well handled and moving true fore & aft 2. Clarke s Flaxela My Secret Love, 6 months. Irish in type. Loved her terrier expression. Correct bite & excellent pigmentation. Good shoulder placement & depth of chest. Very alert on the move. 3. Gent & Lee s Flaxela My Secret Love. JB (7:1a) 1. Philips & Gullick s Jaeva Just Peachy, Correct overall balance, pleasing head properties with lovely expression. Well laid shoulders, level topline, straight front and deep chest. Moved out well with reach & drive 2. Maleary s Wheaten Rebel s Them There Eyes, liked her head properties very much, correct dentition & pigmentation. Good neck & shoulder placement. Level topline with good tailset, she has a super coat of very good colour & texture. Moving out well fore & aft 3. Macgregor s Kirktonhill What I Believe. PGB (10:1a) A very close decision between the first two in this class 1. Herbert s Calenace She s The One At Julibidd, Liked her overall balance & lovely feminine expression. Good shoulder placement & deep chest. Level topline. Very good rear angulation which she used to advantage on the move. Lovely soft coat of good colour RCC 2. Wardle s Saffini One And Only. Like the class winner her overall balance appealed to me. Lovely head & expression. Good shoulders, depth of chest and rear angulation. Moved well enough but would have preferred to have seen her a little more animated. 3. Busby s Calvenace Minnie Ha-ha At Zakby LB (12:2a) 1. Wardle s Saffini Yours Truly, Appealed for her sqaure terrier outline and balance. Enough reach of neck and good shoulder placement. Correct depth of chest and level topline. Coat a lovely rich wheaten colour with correct texture and wave. Moved out very well to take the BCC 2. Jones Zaraslake Pumpkin Pie At Silverluka, Lovely head properties & expression. Well placed shoulders with pleasing length of neck. Good depth of chest and straight front. Well angulated rear. Excellent muscle tone & moved out well. 3. Griffiths Manawyddan Brigid OB (6) 1. Barrett s Saffini Truly Madly Deeply, Pleasing overall balance, Lovely head & expression, correct scissor bite. Good neck & shoulder placement. Correct depth of chest. Level topline & good tailset. Well angulated rear & moved out well. 2. Grant s Kellynack The Fabulous Fox, liked her head properties and ear carriage. Enough neck & shoulder placement ok. Good depth of chest & pleasing rear angulation. Coat of correct wheaten colour 3. Williams Brynhir Rochelle Lil Rock VB (2:1a) 1. Chareton s Snowmeadow Janeyjimjams With Showadiwadi, Good head properties and pigmentation. Decent lay of shoulders, straight front and deep chest. Coat of clear wheaten colour with lovely wave. Moved out well & being a typical wheaten is oblivious to her advancing years. GCB (3:1a) 1. Clarke s Ch Calvenance Fat Bottomed Girl, Presents a balanced outline. Super head & expression with neat ears, correct dentition & excellent pigmentation. Strong level topline & correct tailset. Moved with reach & drive, considered further for top honours. 2. Witherman s Steffgrace Dutch Kiss By Dascol, another with a balanced outline & lovely expression, finer in head than 1. Enough neck with pleasing shoulder placement. Good depth of chest. I would like to thank the officers & committee of LKA for their kind invitation to judge at this well run show & also their hospitality. I would also like to thank the exhibitors for providing me with an excellent entry to assess. I noted that compared to my last judging appointment overall the majority of the mature adults had the correct coat colour ie a shade of ripening wheat. And bites in general were very good. I found temperaments to be excellent without exception.

MPD (6)

1. Mort s Regalred Russian Prince, 6 months. Excellent head properties with correct bite. Good shoulders & rear angulation. Enough neck, level topline & Correct tailset. Lovely wheaten colour to coat, moved well. BPD

2. Charleton s Janeyjimjams Jonah, 6 months. Good head & correct scissor bite. Level topline. Longer cast than 1. More wave to coat than 1 at this stage & also has a decent colour. Moved & handled well. 3. Blandford s Janeyjimjams Joshua

PD (5:1a)

1. Charleton s Janeyjimjams Jonah 2. Blandford s Janeyjimjams Joshua, 6 months. Another with a decent head & correct scissor bite. Squarer in outline & shoulder placement ok. Coat of good texture for age.

2. Bott s Whitevale Sweet Butterfly, 6 months. Very feminine bitch who is square, balanced in outline & short coupled. Correct dentition. Good neck & shoulder placement with level topline. Coat of lovely colour & texture. Moved out well.

1. Philips & Gullick s Jaeva Just Peachy, Correct overall balance, pleasing head properties with lovely expression. Well laid shoulders, level topline, straight front and deep chest. Moved out well with reach & drive

2. Maleary s Wheaten Rebel s Them There Eyes, liked her head properties very much, correct dentition & pigmentation. Good neck & shoulder placement. Level topline with good tailset, she has a super coat of very good colour & texture. Moving out well fore & aft

3. Macgregor s Kirktonhill What I Believe.

2. Grant s Kellynack The Fabulous Fox, liked her head properties and ear carriage. Enough neck & shoulder placement ok. Good depth of chest & pleasing rear angulation. Coat of correct wheaten colour

3. Williams Brynhir Rochelle Lil Rock

1. Clarke s Ch Calvenance Fat Bottomed Girl, Presents a balanced outline. Super head & expression with neat ears, correct dentition & excellent pigmentation. Strong level topline & correct tailset. Moved with reach & drive, considered further for top honours.

2. Witherman s Steffgrace Dutch Kiss By Dascol, another with a balanced outline & lovely expression, finer in head than 1. Enough neck with pleasing shoulder placement. Good depth of chest. Moved & handled well.
