Good head, strong neck flowing into good shoulders, deep chest. Level top line which he held when moving. DCC Open Dog (5) There were some hard choices to be made in this class, as all would have been worthy winners. 1st Mrs C & Mr J Clarke’s Ch Flaxela Perfect Storm (ai) I liked the outline of this dog, length of leg to length of back were complementary. He possesses a strong masculine head, good length of neck flowing into level top line and tail bang on top. He moved out well. RDCC 2nd Ms L Wiliams and Mr B Moles’ Ch Celtannia Atlantic Gold I’ve loved this dog since I judged him as a puppy. His coat is his glory and he was so well presented. Smaller than 1, but a little less of a square outline. He moved with drive and purpose. 3rd Ms J & Mr G Dowdy Ch Greentree Gold Mombo to Denzilly (Imp USA) Good Citizen Dog (1) Ms P. Leverton’s Carkbark Good Luck Charm Sh.CM Veteran Bitch (2 1a) 1st Mrs B & Mr S Bradford’s Ch Wild Wrapped In Ivy Beautifully presented bitch who belies her age of 10 years. Straight front, pretty head, with lovely dark eye. Good strong neck flowing into good shoulders, level topline which she held on the move, tail set on top. Movement was animated. BV in Breed Puppy Bitch (5 1a) 1st Mrs B Bradford, Miss E Hobson & Mrs L Mapson’s Azydeco Abiqua Wild Dernier Paradis (NAF, TAF) A very pretty girl who is nicely balanced. Feminine head, good neck and nice shoulder placement. She should have a bright future as she matures. Her movement tipped the class for her. 2nd Mrs B & Mr S Howes Flaxela Flirtini at Daisymaes (ai) another lovely pup who is developing well. Soft coat of good colour and with the desired wave. Today I felt she was a little unsettled and did not move to advantage. 3rd Mrs C Tilley’s Bryhnir Born to Boogie 1st Mrs C & Mr C Satherley’s Silkcroft Wildest Dreams JW Nicely presented, good size. Excellent head with a good neck and well placed shoulders. Level top line good rear angulation and tail well set. Good reach and drive in movement. RCC Special Beginners Bitch (1) 1st Mrs S Coupar’s Kirktonjill Snow Crystal She seemed a little over awed by the experience but perked up on the move, although she still needs to tighten up. Soft pale coat. Post Graduate Bitch (2) 1st Mrs D Macgregor’s Kirkton Hill A Touch of Snow Delightful young bitch. A little longer caste but she has well placed shoulders and good angulation and a well set tail Her coat is soft and is beginning to show maturity. She moved with drive to win the class. 2nd Mrs S Coupar’s Kirktonjill Snow Crystal Mrs B Bradford and Miss E Hobson’s Bonney Abiqua Wild Desert Whispers (Imp USA) There’s no mistaking that this girl is a Terrier, whilst small in stature she is within the breed standard. Pretty head with nice eye and expression, lovely neck through to well placed shoulders, great rear angulation with good tail set. She is focussed and excelled in movement. Coat a little pale, but at 2 years old there is time for this to improve. BCC Open Bitch (1) 1st Miss D Witheyman and Mr C Satherley’s Ch Silkcroft Born This Way A worthy champion. Nicely proportioned, with a mature coat of good colour and texture. Good head, enough neck into nicely placed shoulders. Good angulation. I felt that her hind action was not quite on point today.
