SOFT COATED WHEATEN JUDGE DRIFFIELD 14

Soft-coated Wheaten Terriers

Thank you to the society for the invitation & the exhibitors for a great entry, especially the quality OB class & the sporting atmosphere around the ring. I enjoyed the SCWT very much.

MPD (1)

1 Dunhill’s Fantasa Blonde Qiwi, super shape, balance & type on this youngster. He has the topline & muscled rear end, carries an attractive & alert head, balance skull to muzzle & strong teeth. Moved with the action & shows lots of promise. BP.

PD (0).

JD (3,1a)

1 Revis’ Tiareko Niflheim’s Wizard, strong, compact boy with the overall outline, he has the balance in head, looks slightly longer at this stage but development in chest & body will help. Great muscletone in topline, rear & he moved accurately. Good soft coat fall to complete overall;

2 Howe’s Stevelyn Kings Call of Sunnidayze, good build on this lad with a solid outline, he has the head type, good skull, ear & eye, he was good over the ground on the move when under control. More to come from him as he develops.

YD (0).

PGD (2)

1 Thackray’s Abiqua Wild On An Ace Trip, this promising boy has the head balance, shape & strength, good skull & muzzle, has the front, body & balanced topline, he is well muscled throughout & moved with the control to take the class;

2 Satherley’s Sam Shamrock De Morrigan of Silkcroft, impresses standing with the typical head, body & tailset. Could improve the front action on the move but has a good rear action & drive. Attracts with the dark eye & alert ear & expression.

LD (4)

1 Griffiths’ Manawyddan I Got Rhythm, good outline, balance & shape on this well built lad. He has the topline, front, lovely coat cover, tailset & balance. He is good on the move over the ground, has a pleasing head but won the class with his reach & drive;

2 Howes’ Daisymaes Enforcer, I liked the type in head with the skull to muzzle ratio, attitude & confidence. He has the balance of outline, good size & strength through body, carries tail well, but not quite action of 1 on the move today but a close decision;

3 Mapson’s Abiqua Wild Jack Of Hearts.

OD (7)

Strong class.

1 Fallon’s Ch Janeyjimjams Jenson, exciting, quality & impressive boy of good overall balance & shape. He has a typical head with the eye & earset, attracts in attitude, carries himself with confidence. Has the strength in topline & body, a good front & rearend, strong level back & well set tail. He has the front with a compact body, lovely coat & colour & moved with the free striding action required to take the class. CC & BOB;

2 Dunhill Hall’s Fantasa Blonde Neville, close up this exciting boy was pushing all the way with his lovely head balance, skull, muzzle & strong jaw. He has a balanced outline, well built body & chest. Not quite the coat today but is mature in muscletone with the reach & drive on the move. Carries his tail well & was handled with style to push 1 all the way taking the RCC;

3 Satherley & Smith’s Am Ch Haldane Double Down. GCD (0).

MPB (3)

1 Dunhill’s Fantasa Blonde Queen Bee, loved the attitude, strong jaw, head balance & development so far. She has the front, overall shape, nice rear quarters, she moves with the style & action, most promising at this stage. Lots to like on this exciting girl;

2 Shrive’s Emalot Santa Maria, another youngster developing well at this stage. She has the head, body, tail & coat coming through. Is balanced through neck, slightly longer at present but not going as well as 1 on the move;

3 Satherley’s Silkcroft Sky Full Of Stars.

PB (2,1)

1 Johnson’s Garsaynogold Julia, 9½ months old of lovely type & balance, she has the impressive head, neck, outline, body & shape. She moves true on front & rear action, with an exciting side profile of reach & drive. One to watch as she grows.

JB (4,2)

1 Macgregor’s Kirktonhill What I Believe, good overall balance on this young lady. She has the shape, head & eye. Strong muzzle & jaw. She has the muscular arched neck, compact body, lovely coat texture & goes well on the move when controlled. I liked her attitude & enthusiasm;

2 Howe’s Stevelyn Black Magic Woman, potential on this girl is great but she needs to develop in body & coat. She has the head type & a pleasing action on the move & this can give her the basis for the future.

PGB (3)

1 Moran’s Abiqua Wild She’s By Design, great outline, balance & shape on this smart girl. Pleases in head, neck, topline, chest & rear quarters. She is alert & moved with the free & lively action, true & accurate, to win the class;

2 Bradford’s Abiqua Wild Is All She Wrote, loved the head & overall balance, good skull to muzzle & well set ears. She has the chest, body & size, coat is coming through, she is a good mover but not quite up to 1 today;

3 Herbert’s Calvenace She’s The One at Julibidd.

LB (9,1)

1 Bradford & Hobson’s Abiqua Wild Wrapped In Ivy, alert girl with the type in head, skull to muzzle ratios, strong jaw, eye & earset, pleases in neck & overall shape, muscular in outline & rear end. Powerful quarters give her the drive & she moved with the action to take the class & was considered in the challenge;

2 Salisbury’s Orliscwt Lillee The Pink, this lady has the type in coat & shape, she puts it all together on the move, good rear angles & overall balance in head & body, working well with her handler to take this place in the class;

3 Moles & Williams’ Kinaelan Cachique at Celtannia.

OB (15,1)

Fantastic class here with great competition for the places, one I enjoyed very much.

1 Charleton’s Janeyjimjams Jemima, quality bitch with the strength & power in her compact & muscular body, she has the size, balance & angles, typical head, muzzle & punishing in her strength of jaw. She is alert, has the attitude, strong neck, good chest & rib, well set tail & carries the coat. She moved with a positive action to take the class in a very close decision. CC;

2 Moran’s Ch Abiqua Wild In A Satin Sash, superbly built lady with special qualities in a typical head. Excellent front & overall shape, she is balanced, well built in chest, body & muscular rear end. She covered the ground on the move with a good rear & side action. She has the coat to finish the picture & push 1 all the way. RCC;

3 Tilley’s Starak Solid Gold Ez Action.

GCB (1)

1 Charleton’s Snowmeadow Janeyjimjams with Showadiwadi, excellent example of the breed with the head & overall outline, she has the shape, balance & movement, she is good in front, shoulders & rear quarters, attracts in head & neck & went well front & rear action.
