SOFT COATED WHEATEN DARLINGTON 11 Judge: Mrs M Pastuszka SOFT COATED WHEATEN JUDGE DARLINGTON 11 SOFT COATED WHEATEN TERRIER Thank you to my two excellent stewards who kept everything moving smoothly. Congratulations to my puppy, veteran and breeders group for all winning your respective groups. VD 1 Lilwaukee Leroy Brown For Avard. Lovely overall shape, good pigment, nice head with neat ears, moved well, would have liked more colour to coat. Best Veteran. MPD 1 Fantasa Blond Neville. Lovely puppy, excellent pigment, big white teeth set in the correct dentition, dark, expressive eyes, neat ears, all in a lovely head, short backed with excellent angles front and rear, lovely coat and colour, moved very well. BP. RCC. PD 1 Hobel Twelfth Of Never. Nice head with good pigment, reasonable colour to coat, fairly well balanced. JD 1 Kariskye Horris Henry For Abbeymead. Fabulous coat and colour. I would have preferred more tidying to his coat, as you couldn't see his shape (which is very nice), lovely masculine head, big white teeth, dark eyes, full of mischief, strong arched neck, good angles, front and rear. I have seen this dog move a lot better than he did today, which cost him higher honours. 2 Janey Jimjams Jenson. Different totally to first but still a very nice dog, neat head and ears, good bite, possibly more compact than first, just preferred the coat and colour of first at this stage. 3 Middlebury Shooting Star. PGD 1 Elkis' Aquila Of Silkcroft (Imp Swe). 16 months, all male, lovely head, good bite and pigment, beautiful eyes, moves out very well with fabulous reach and drive which comes from his excellent build, unfortunately decided that he had had enough in the challenge. 2 Middlebury Shooting Star. Third in junior, nice compact dog, his coat at this stage lets him down in both colour and texture. 3 Fantasa Blond Lancelot. LD 1 Garsayno Gold Freeman. Coming along well with nice head, very good mouth and pigment, good colour to coat, nice shape all through, but unfortunately moves close behind. 2 Wentloog Mozambique At Braelochyen. Nice dog, good head, excellent pigment and bite, balanced all through, first had a better colour to coat. OD 1 Peteneira Particularly Pete With Anmaricy. Lovely dog, 6 years young, good head, neat ears, excellent pigment, fabulous shape, his coat is an excellent colour, falling in loose waves, but its when this dog moves that he catches your eye, totally efficient movement, each foot falling in the correct place, could have watched him move all day. I cannot believe this dog is not a champion, he deserves to be. CC. 2 Loofahsa Scaramouche ShCM. Another very nice dog, not as compact as first, but worthy of his placing in this class. 3 Ir Int Ch Hobel Jo Obrien. VB 1 Eng &Ir Ch Snowmeadow Hetty Hopscotch At Starzak. Looking good for her 10 years, nice head, a tad long in back and I would have liked more colour in her coat, moves well. MPB 1 Calvanace Fat Bottomed Girl. A lovely baby girl on her first outing (mum should be proud), lovely head with excellent pigment, cheeky dark eyes, neat ears, good colour for a baby, strong neck leading into good shoulders, level topline, good angles front and rear, moved well. PB 1 Garsayno Gold Gemma. Nice puppy, pretty head, excellent pigment, good angles front and rear, moved well. PGB Nice class. 1 Kariskye Born To Bewitch. Lovely bitch, coat neatly trimmed to show off her excellent shape, neat head with good pigment and bite, good arched neck, level topline, good angulation front and rear, moved very well, considered her for higher honours. 2 Kirktonhill Look No Further. A very nice bitch, very compact in shape, feminine head, good neck leading to excellent shoulders, close decision. 3 Loofahsa Honeybee At Carkbark. LB What a class! 1 Fantasa Blond Lilley. Caught my eye as soon as she came in the ring, feminine head, beautiful eyes and pigment, good bite, neat ears, good arch to neck, short compact body, good colour to coat, moved very well, expertly handled to get the best out of her, very close in the challenge. I just felt the open winners coat had a better finish at this stage, but her time will come. RCC. 2 Manawyddan Brigid. Very nice bitch, good all through, nice coat colour, just a tad longer in back than first. 3 Calavenace Top Totty (ai). OB 1 What can I say. She walked in the ring and I couldn't take my eyes off her. Fabulous head, dark eyes, neat ears, excellent pigmentation and bite, proud neck, leading to excellent shoulders, angulation front and rear spot on, then we come to the coat, correct colour falling in loose waves. When I asked her to move it all came together, tremendous front reach and drive, expertly handled. I loved her. BCC and BOB. 2 Ch Kazeen Hot Deception At Amaricy. Another lovely bitch, she deserves her Ch title, just had to bow to the youngsters today. 3 Fantasa Blond Krackers. Breeders Group 1 Evans &Hammond. 2 McGregor. Mrs Mollie Pastuszka |
