I would like to thank the officers & committee of Belfast DSS for the invitation to officiate for them especially the hospitality shown to me.

I was extremely pleased at the magnificent entry for Belfast Ch show & more especially the quality, however I must make one or two observations mouths over the years have really improved but today I had one or two serious faults, I do realise that it will take a while for the tail to settle so I had no real concerns regarding tails however movement is not improving as quickly as I would like, however temperaments were exceptional & a credit to the breeders.

1 Satherley’s Sam Shamrock De Morrigan of Silkcroft, presented to look his best, grand head & expression, well developed neck & shoulder placement, straight bone, tidy feet, excellent profile, stood square in fine coat, moved well.

LD (1)

1 Howes’ Daisymaes Enforcer, another presented to look his best & did, powerful head, strong jaws, excellent dentition, highly developed neck leading into well placed shoulders, excellent front elevation & profile, stood square, lovely coat, moved well. RCC.

OD (7)

1 Howes’ Daisymaes Desmond Decker, this fellow flowed into the ring, full of himself, taking my eye with his masculinity as he stood square, strong straight bone, powerful head & jaws, excellent dentition, clean throat, powerful neck leading into well laid shoulders, excellent front elevation & profile, stood square, solid, moved beautifully. CC & BOB;

2 Satherley & Smith’s Am/Amg Ch Haldane Double Down, it was almost a crime to meet the winner in such fine condition, tremendous head, well balanced, grand expression, powerful jaws, excellent dentition, grand front, elevation & profile, fine angulations, moving beautifully;

3 Hanna’s Kinaelan Finlandia Finnian.

1 Satherley’s Silkcroft Sky Full Of Stars, a fine looking youngster, lovely head & expression, strong jaws, good dentition, excellent front elevation & profile, as a youngster has a lot of promise, moved well. BP;

2 Johnson’s Garsayno Gold Julia, another fine youngster, fine head & neck, excellent front, nice feet, rib still coming, short back, moved well.

1 Satherley’s Silkcroft World Explorer, a nice bitch with a lot going for her, excellent front, straight & strong standing, square short back, fine profile, good angulations, moved with power.

1 Evans-Barry’s Hobel Devil Woman, punishing head of the correct shape, held by a well-muscled neck, excellent lay of shoulder, tremendous front elevation, straight & strong, short back driven by powerful hindquarters;

2 Herbert’s Calvenace She’s The One at Julibidd, presented well, super head & expression, sound dentition, excellent front & profile, deep rib, short back, carried her tail well, just a little untidy on the move.

1 Hanna’s Kinaelan Finlandia Finnial, presented well, standing square, a happy youngster, enjoying her day out, lovely neck & lay of shoulder, deep rib, fine head & expression, excellent front & profile, deep rib & short back, movement not her best feature today.

1 Tilley’s Starzak Solid Gold Ez Action, she was turned out to win & did, beautiful head & expression, strong muzzle, fine neck & shoulders, excellent front elevation & profile, deep rib, short back, when I asked her to move she flowed around the ring, it was with great pleasure that I made her the award CC;

2 Clarke’s Ch Calvnace Fat Bottomed Girl for Flaxela, another presented in top form, beautiful head & expression, strong jaws, good dentition, powerful neck, excellent lay of shoulder, deep rib, tremendous front elevation & profile, stood square, fine hindquarters, moved OK. RCC;

3 Satherley’s Ch Silkcroft Colour Of Magic.
