Once again I was a little disappointed with the standard of our lovely breed with a general lack of quality still a concern. Also I found some poor rear movement, one or two incorrect bites & some soft textured coats. However, there were also a number of fine dogs very well presented.

PD (3)

1 Hampson’s Kamryan Hey Look At Me, 7 months all white puppy, nice head, ears & good bite, coarse coat texture, well presented. A little unsettled on the move in the challenge but movement OK. BP;

2 Bettis’ Ornella Tonioli’s Tango, 9 months, slightly bigger than 1. Good masculine head, correct bite, dark eyes & nice ears, good bone, well presented, harsh textured coat;

3 James’ Nileda Vanguard.

PGD (0).

LD (4)

Difficult class of two different types.

1 Winsley’s Davmar Duty Free, striking blue marked quality dog, masculine balanced head, good fill up & dentition, good neck & shoulder placement, excellent bone, ribcage & body, level topline, harsh coat texture, well presented, balanced outline, moved freely with strong quarters used to good effect. CC & BOB;

2 Meara’s Plumhollow The Riddle, blue marked quality dog, one I judged & liked previously & has matured well. Good head & bite, nice length of neck & good lay of shoulders, spring of rib & bone, balanced outline, level topline, moved with drive, very well presented. RCC;

3 Evans’ Executive Date at Sunnyview.

OD (3)

1 Horn’s Eleighwater Prince Charles, well presented dog in good harsh coat, nice length of neck running into well placed shoulders, good body & strong quarters, moved with drive;

2 Jones’ Ch Pindaric Welsh Dragon, nearly 10 years old & enjoying his day, good head & ears, nice dark eyes, good neck length & lay of shoulder, balanced outline, nice body & bone;

3 Matthews’ Leomona Star Struck.

PB (2)

1 Jones’ Zippor Star Cascade, lovely tan marked puppy, good head, mouth, ears & dark eyes, nice neck length & lay of shoulder & bone, balanced outline, moved well, harsh coat & well presented. Slightly immature now but should have a good future. A very tight decision for BP;

2 Lee’s Nileda Tee Total, tan marked puppy, nice head, eyes & ears, correct bite, adequate bone & strength in quarters, moved well. A little unsure on the table. Topline & balance not as good as 1, needs time.

JB (2)

1 Dooley’s Dursegg Diawl Bach, just out of puppy by a week. Petite all white bitch, lovely temperament, nice head, good bite, neck, shoulders & topline, moved well. Would have liked her a bit bigger;

2 Peel’s Dursegg Athena at Esanar, from the same litter as 1 but larger & very different. Good head & bite, plenty of substance, good spring of rib, tail carried erect. Unfortunately not blessed with a good coat.

PGB (3,1)

Two quality bitches & a close decision.

1 Winsley & Holmes’ Polrose Paper Mon, all white, in pristine condition, good head, bite, ears & eyes, nice length of neck & lay of shoulder, good bone & spring of rib, excellent topline, tail on top, harsh texture of coat, good quarters, moved well with drive. RCC;

2 Moyes’ Plumhollow Duty Bound, very well presented all white bitch, nice balanced head, correct mouth & nicely placed ears, good in neck, shoulders, bone & body, level topline, balanced outline & in good coat, moved well.

LB (2) 1 Mathews’ Leomona Star Quality, all white bitch, nice head, good bite, pleasing neck & shoulders, OK in bone & body, strong quarters used to move well. Unfortunately topline & coat not quite at their best;

2 Evans’ Nileda Dance With Me, all white, sound in neck & shoulders, nice head, eyes, mouth & ears, adequate bone & body. Unfortunately topline was not level & therefore spoilt her outline but just preferred movement of 1.

OB (2)

1 Lewis’ Nomis New Beginning, blue marked quality bitch, good head, mouth, ears & dark eyes, refined neck & shoulders, nice spring of rib & strong quarters, good coat texture & presentation, moved well with drive. CC;

2 Morgan’s Zabeden Gypsy Girl, different type to 1 & not appearing to enjoy her day. Rather reluctant to show off her virtues. Good head & mouth, nice spring of rib & level topline, well presented, good coat texture.
