Glen of Imaal Terriers

PGD (2)

1 Hardy’s Amhard Freebooter, impressed me with his overall shape & balance for his age, head masculine, good planes, dark eye, good ear carriage, excellent forehand, strong neck & rear angles, nice spring of rib, firm on loin, kept topline on the move which he did with ease, good front, powerful rear action & free side action, lovely tail carriage, one to watch. BD & RCC;

2 Brown’s Jeonty Dinky Doughnut, not quite as finished in head. Eye & ears OK, good jaws. Would like little more lay to shoulders & more length. Well muscled in rear, moved OK.

LD (2)

1 Smith’s Romainville Bodhran, won this with more positive stronger movement, masculine head, good eye & ears, ribs well sprung, good forequarters & shoulders, moved with free front & side action. Little close at rear;

2 Ashcroft’s Romainville Typhoon, dark brindle, nice in head, dark eye, good mouth, strong shoulders & loin, OK topline & tail. Moved a bit erratic & needs to be tidied in coat.

OD (2)

Two nice dogs.

1 Harley’s Ch Beatrix’s Boy With Windarra from Donvaleset, worthy champion, mature male, masculine head, dark eye, correct ears, strong on shoulders, good neck, depth of brisket, well muscled, excellent bone, moved strongly, kept topline. RBD.

2nd AMHARD DAMSON SAUCE (MR M & MRS A HARDY)

PB (1)

1 George & Sullivan’s Romainville Ellie, pleasing puppy, developing well, feminine head, good dark eye, nice neck & shoulders, length to rib, enough muscle, body & bone for age, moved OK. A little overawed. BP.

PGB (2)

1 George & Sullivan’s Romainville Rhian, strong in head, enough foreface, dark eye, good forehand, depth of brisket, firm loin, correct topline & tail carriage, moved freely with easy action;

2 Hardy’s Amhard Feeling So Cool, needs to mature in body. Good front & angles, nice type of head, gentle eye, ears OK, moved well in front & positive in rear. Needs more time to finish.

LB (1)

1 George & Sullivan’s Romainville Miss Moneypenny, stood alone but could have coped with a ring full. Pleasing overall balance & shape, feminine but could do a days work, lovely headpiece, good foreface & back skull, nice eye & ear set, strong neck onto good shoulders, good front & depth to brisket, tidy feet, good body ratios, firm loin, correct topline & tailset, in tip top condition, moved strongly covering the ground well, excellent front side & rear action, ticked all my boxes, excellent presentation. BB, CC & BOB.

OB (1)

1 Harley’s Donvaleset Brier, wheaten, lovely balance, pleasing head, lovely eye, correct ears, good forequarters, spring to ribs, well laid shoulders, good topline & tail, moved freely, good front, solid rear action & easy side action, first class presentation & condition, well handled. RBB;

2 Quinn’s Ir Ch Abberann Eilish at Kirikee, lost out on movement to winner. Well balanced overall bitch, feminine head, good eye, enough substance & bone, correct fore & rear angles. A little sluggish in movement.
