1 Rules’ Rathleash Tirhogar Tadgh, 15 months top size male who seemed a little overawed by the whole experience, but did settle down to the job in hand. Very impressed head with a lovely dark eye & good scissor bite, strong neck. Shoulder a shade slack at the moment, but with the right exercise this should tighten up. Good proportions in balanced rib & loin. Though looking a shade bare in coat he had nicely turned quarters with hard muscletone. Movement was a bit erratic at times, but he did settle enough for his placing. With ring training & confidence he should be able to equip himself well in the future.

LD (1)

1 Welch’s Romainville Brannigan at Brockland, good outline, strong headed r/wheaten with good harsh quality coat, lovely dark eye, strong muzzle, well shaped neck running into a good strong set of shoulders with excellent bone, good balance between the rib & loin. Could do with a shade more turn in his well muscled quarters. Moved steadily both coming & going & was in good clean condition, well handled. In the final challenge his ring presence & size won him the RCC.

OD (3)

1 Welch’s Ch/Int Ch Brockland Braehead Lad, what a truly sturdy Glen man this is, just coming up to 8 years this gr/br epitomises the breed characteristics, lovely balanced skull with strong foreface, lovely dark eye, well set ears, strong neck running into a lovely front assembly, excellent bone, good feet, very harsh coat, covers his spot on rib to loin proportions, great strength through the loin giving the classic Glen body shape, well muscled quarters, well carried tail completes the picture, sound & steady on the move both ends, so sympathetically handled. Could not be denied the CC & I was splitting hairs in the challenge for BOB;

2 White’s Ir Ch Abberann Karl, this young brindle presents a similar outline, but on a smaller scale all through, good strong head with dark eye, good bite, well set ears, strong neck runs into a very well proportioned front, strong bone, nicely put together ribcage covered in a good harsh coat, strength through loin supporting the topline, well muscled quarters allowed steady hind action.

PB (1)

1 Seall’s Bregorrey Madame Defiance, pretty gr/br baby coming up to 10 months & still has a bit of developing to do, very appealing head with nice dark eye, nicely set ears, good bite, enough strength in neck for age, well proportioned front, good bone in her front legs, coat is coming in & covers a well formed ribcage, good balanced loin proportions, quarters still developing but allowed steady rear action on the move, well handled & presented. BP.

OB (2)

1 White’s Ch/Ir Ch Abberann Ennya, covered in a rich golden/wheaten coat of lovely texture, I thought she was a young lady but she’s almost a veteran, she really caught my eye, lovely strong yet feminine head with toning eyes & a lovely scissor bite, well set neat ears top up a lovely flowing neck running into a really strong well laid front assembly with lovely proportionate bone in the front legs, excellent rib to loin balance with strength in loin presenting the classic Glen outline, really good muscletone in her well turned quarters finished the picture of a really quality exhibit, covered the ground as if she actually owned that ring. The final run round split the decision for BOB & she just tipped the scales over the dog. Both are beautiful specimens of their breed & as such will change places many times. CC & BOB;

2 Seall’s Brockland Belle Bregorrey, coming up to 8 years, this is another deceiving exhibit, she moves like she was still a junior & really covered the ground very well indeed, nicely proportioned skull & foreface, expressive eyes & a good bite, good neck strength with clean run into a well proportioned front assembly with good bone in her front legs, strong ribcage covered in a coat of good harsh texture leads to a strong loin & good set of well muscled quarters, sound steady mover both ends which won her the RCC.
