BEDLINGTON WINDSOR 16 Judge: Mr Paul Eardley BEST OF BREED : 6739 KIERNAN Mr P Ch Sharnor High I'm Viktor At Kierlander BEDLINGTON JUDGE WINDSOR 16 Bedlington Terriers I enjoyed the Bedlingtons & felt that overall the quality was good with some interesting decisions to make. When I looked at the catalogue afterwards I realised that there were four UK group winning dogs in the entry which is quite a feat for the breed I would think. Thank you to my stewards who did a very good job. I was delighted to see the BOB go on to win the terrier group & the BP to place PG2 which underlined my view that the entry contained some real quality. V (2) 1 Yearley’s Ch Gnejnabay Genegenie Gal at Lowbrook, one I have previously given top honours to when in her prime. Still looks very good, has retained her figure & her outline & always puts in a good performance. Beautifully feminine. Well presented; 2 Jones’ Ch Pengerrig Iron Duke, masculine boy who is wearing well. Good head, well presented & is a quality boy. Tail carriage a bit untidy. PD (2) 1 Bannister’s Miteymidgets English Dream, a raw baby who has all the essentials. Good head developing, delightful temperament & a decent outline when he got going; 2 Richardson’s Highdene Hartley, not quite the outline or the polished performance of the winner but a good type & handled well. It will be interesting to see how he develops. JD (3) 1 Davies’ Honeymist Blue Bols, quality boy who took my eye immediately. Lovely type, good outline standing & moving, decent mover, well presented & with a bit more maturity is one for top honours I would think; 2 McNally’s Conekesheved Ironstone Boy, nice chap, bigger than the winner & not the outline. Good head & steady shower. PGD (1) 1 Ward’s Lowbrook Lupus Lad, promising sort & both dog & owner gained confidence as the class went on. Very typical & had a delightful temperament. LD (3) 1 Thompson’s Jetsway Bollinger, this boy is shaping up well. Pleasing overall to look at & holds a good outline standing & moving. Pleasing rear & will become more competitive as he matures; 2 Mayers’ Tcheria Causing Tchaos, not quite as together as the winner on the move. Good type, nice head. OD (3) 1 Kiernan’s Ch Sharnor High I’m Viktor at Kierlander, was certainly the dog on form today. Came in to the ring & caught my eye immediately. He possesses a super outline & lovely proportions. He was just lovely to go over on the table, masculine head, correct front, good feet, in great condition with decent muscletone & finished off with great presentation. Equally impressive on the move with correct action, holds his lovely outline & good tail carriage. CC & BOB & then went on to win the group. Well done; 2 Pykhtar’s Balt/Czech Ch L’End Show Metti Surpri, very impressive & trimmed intelligently to accentuate his best features. Put up stiff competition for the winner as he is an eyecatcher, has a good outline, possesses a lovely masculine head & expression & is clearly a class act. I loved his rear. Well presented & handled. In the end the decider really was tail carriage. He is of great quality. RCC. GC (1) 1 Worrall’s Bluesmurf Utrinque Paratus, this one was a good citizen. Handled well & possessed a good temperament, correct proportions & OK in head. PB (3) 1 Bannister’s Miteymidgets This Is Me, promising young lady who was a bit more together than the competition which took her to the top of this class. Nice type, feminine head, has the makings of a good one; 2 Richardson’s Highdene Harmony, pushed the winner hard here as she had lots to commend her. Good head & OK in outline. Very much a baby but that is no bad thing. JB (4) This was a very good class & there was quality throughout. It gave me some food for thought. 1 Pykhtar’s L’End Show Monroe All World At My Feet, assured young lady who is still a puppy. She is maturing nicely, very steady, nice outline, decent head, good mover particularly behind & with more maturity will trouble the older girls. I awarded her BP & was pleased when the puppy group judge also rewarded her qualities; 2 Hurley’s Fralex Culibre Seymour, it is no comfort to an exhibitor to say “unlucky to meet the above” but this young lady was. She put up a good competition with her lovely outline, super movement, & excellent presentation & handling. In most entries she would have been right up there. I really liked her. PGB (2) 1 Mayers’ Tcheria She’s Tcheeky, nice young lady, steady, handled well, OK in head, decent outline & was slightly steadier to take the class; 2 Bannister’s Miteymidgets All My Love, a good type, feminine, decent head, was a touch uncooperative on the move. LB (6,1) 1 Bannister’s Miteymidgets Love In Bloom, another who caught my eye as soon as she came in. Lovely proportions, correct action, super type, feminine but not weedy. Pushed hard for the RCC & really only lost out to her kennelmate on rear movement. Should have a bright future; 2 Mayers’ Miteymidgets Universal at Tcheria, another typy one from this kennel, caught my eye with her good outline & overall appearance. Not quite the outline on the move of the winner. OB (4,1) 1 Davies’ Ch Honeymist Posh Dreamz, this one ticked most of the boxes for me. She possesses a beautiful outline & she has an exceptionally lovely head, feminine, well muscled, super type & correct action. One of the best coats on display today. I awarded her a RCC as a youngster & G4 at Border Union recently so it is no surprise that she caught my eye again. She won the CC in hot competition which she more than deserved. Super; 2 Bannister’s Ch Miteymidgets Going Global, put up good competition here & indeed the more I looked at her the more I liked her. Good outline & proportions & a good mover. When she came in for the RCC she put on a good show to take a well deserved RCC. More than worthy of her title. PAUL EARDLEY
