BEDLINGTON WELSH KC 24 Judge: Mr Ben Reynolds-Frost BEDLINGTON JUDGE WELSH KC 24 I would like to sincerely thank the exhibitors for the wonderful entry of 31 dogs at the WKC show last weekend. I throughly enjoyed my judging although I was dead tired after judging the other two breeds but was glad my BOB made the group. VD (1)1 Res DCC, BV. Offer’s Ch Woolytop The Wherryman Sh.CM ShCEx VW. 8 1/2 yr old lovely mature dog of the correct size and shape. Pleasing head, neck, body with excellent front and hind quarters. Pleasing on the move. JD (1) 1. Mcnally Ch Conekesheved Out Of The Blue JW. Nice 14 mth old in the making but I see he already has his title. Congratulations. Pleasing head, neck, well shaped eye and ear carriage. Correct top line and hind quarters. Excellent on the move. PGD (2) Both these two need more time to develop and mature. 1. Lacey’s Bowlingbrook Hummingbird. 2yr old. Lacking a jacket on the day so left nothing to the imagination. Pleasing head, neck and front. Good depth and hind quarters. Needs to tighten up on the move front and rear. 2. Dobson’s Devleigh Blue Thunder. 18mths smaller. Pleasing head and front. Good top line and hind quarters. Needs to settle on the move. LD (2) 1. Martins Honeymist Firecracker. Larger than I prefer.2 1/2 yr old. Trimmed to perfection. Lovely head and neck. Correct front, feet and top line. Good depth of brisket and correct rib cage. Pleasing on the move. 2. Bannister’s Miteymidgets Modern Love JW. 3 yr old smaller than winner and lacking jacket on the day. He really needs to develop but at his age I am not sure he will. Good front and feet. Really would like more of him alround. OD (4) 1, DCC, BOB. Jackson’s Woolytop The Saxon At Padztar. Mature 5 yr old of the correct size and shape. Excellent head, neck, front and feet. Correct top line. At times he appeared to be a touch straight behind but pleasing on the move. I was delighted to award him the CC thus him gaining his title. 2.Bannister’s Miteymidgets New Vision JW.3 her old smaller but all in proportion. Well shaped head, with correct neck, front and feet. Good top line. Prefer better in hind quarters. Moving well in front. 3. Hane’s Janmark Man In The Middle JW .VB (4,1) 1. PGB (1) 1 Mitchell’s Paceypaws Philippa. 2 yr old and she is still mucking about. Badly needs ring training. Correct size and shape. Small in body with good hind quarters. Would love to see her better on the move but might be due to her over long nails. LB (2) 1 Res BCC. Hane’s Janmark The Name Of The Game JW. 18 mths quality bitch of the correct size and shape. Good head and front. Deep brisket and correct rib cage. Good top line and excellent on the move. 2 Mitchell’s Paceypaws Patricia. 4 yr old. Again this bitch like her kennel mate her nails are far too long which spoils the foot shape. Poor condition overall. OB (7,3) 1, BCC. Mcnally Ch Conekesheved Too Shy JW. 3 yr old and I just loved this bitch. Mature and of the correct size. Brimming quality. Lovely head, neck, front, feet and depth of brisket.
