BEDLINGTON JUDGE WELSH KC 22

Thank you for an interesting entry, low in the young dog classes - but plenty of quality after that - and it was good to see a full bitch challenge. Many thanks to my stewards Maxine O’Neil and Justine Monaghan.

VD 1(0)

1. Martin’s Ch. Honeymist Blue Bols. 7 years, lovely way to start the day - lovely type and quality, long head, cheeks could be a little cleaner, good front, hare feet - and good flexible body - excellent curve over the loin, excellent linty coat, pressed hard for RDCC - where he just tucked himself up a little, BV.

JD 1(0)

1. Zanelli’s Agnellino Midnight Runner. 14 months, sandy, top size and at the moment just a little angular in outline and can finish in chest and firm up in front, good hindquarters, croup and rear movement, long, quality head, good eyes, fine ears, a teenager but promising.

OD 7(1)

1. Cumming’s Ch. Rocabec Riding Shotgun. 3 years old, stood away here for shape, balance and movement, clean long head, excellent eye, excellent front angulation and chest, correctly placed arch on the loin, held on the move, in good coat, DCC & BOB.

2. Offer’s Ch. Woolytop The Viking. 2 year old, heavier dog but rectangular in outline with some curve over the loin, not as accurate in front as the winner or as clean in the head, good coat, RDCC.

3. Baldwi’s Woolytop The Piper’s Son JW.

VB 2(0)

Sadly one bitch was withdrawn as she was not going soundly.

1. Bishop’s Ch. Fralex Culibre Bolyn. Sandy, lovely depth of body but a little round in ribs, lovely head and eyes, a little short coupled for perfect balance and this shows in her top-line.

PB 3(1)

1. Middlebrook’s Tcheria Sweet Tcharity. 11 months, blue, lovely quality in head and eye, excellent front and front movement, correct in ribs, she is a little flat at the moment but has time for that, lithe and athletic and lovely pigment, BP.

2. Lee’s Agnellino’s Faith No More. 8 months, sandy - top size and makes a good outline, I preferred the winner’s length and cleanness of head and front action, not yet the coat of the winner.

JB 5(0)

1. McNally’s Ch. Conekesheved Too Shy JW. 13 months, blue, top size but beautiful quality and with long clean head, good eye and fine ears, excellent quarters and top-line, can drop a little in chest yet and this shows in her front action, excellent coat pigment and presentation, RBCC.

2. Bishop’s Honeymist Pinky Promise at Chaselyne. 15 months, sandy with beautiful feminine head and good eye, she is shapely but could be smoother with her neck into shoulder line, good ribs, can firm up in front.

3. Long’s Dunkeswell Pebble Run.

PGB 2(0)

1. Moore/Chudleigh’s Devleigh Dirty Dancing. 20 months, blue, a little low on the leg for balance but scored in her rib today, good movement at both ends, clean narrow head, coat a little soft, could have a little more rise over the loin.

2. Long’s Dunkeswell Pebble Run. 17 months, I liked so much about this bitch her body shape, movement and coat, today she was carrying too much weight and this made her heavy in body, stronger head that the winner but when she is in shape will have a good career.

LB 3(1)

1. Moore/Chudleigh’s Devleigh Wild Child. 3 years, excellent coat and pigment which won her this place, I liked her size and leg length but she is over sprung in rib not helped by her carrying too much weight, very good forehand and front movement, needs more fallaway from croup and again less weight would help her.

2. Martin-Impey/Kinns’ Red Hot Chilli of Lovely Star Generation NAF. 2 years, top sized bitch with lovely head, good length and good movement but rather flat in top-line, good narrow front, I preferred coat and pigment of the winner.

OB 4(0)

1. Bishop’s Ch. Chaselyne About Thyme. Loved her size and shape although she could carry herself a little better on the move, excellent movement at both ends, lovely feminine head, excellent coat, in the challenge she was the finished picture amongst the bitches, BCC.

2. Cumming’s Ch. Rocabec Gossip Girl. Shapely bitch who was a little heavy in body but won this place with her top-line and depth of chest.

3. Baldwin’s Woolytop Leading Lady.
