BEDLINGTON WELKS 18 Judge(s): MR D SHIELDS Can I thank the exhibitors for accepting me as their replacement judge and I hope Mr Browne-Cole will be out and about again very soon. 1 Baldwin's Woolytop Golden Surprise. Liver of very good make and shape. Not the biggest but presents a balanced outlook and built on clean lines. Pleasing head, bright eye and expression, well made front and a good reach of neck. Firm body with a good depth of chest and pleasing hindquarters. Sound with a very typical action. 2 Middlebook's Tcharleston. Well made throughout and presented on the day in excellent coat. Balanced head, low set ears of good texture and a strong scissor bite. Good legs and feet, very clean over the neck and shoulders and a pleasing topline and tailset. Moved well but not as positive on the move as the winner on the day. 1 Offer's Woolytop The Wherryman. Beautifully balanced and built on clean and flowing lines. Best of heads with a dark small eye and the brightest of expressions. Good reach of neck set in well placed shoulders, excellent depth and a pleasing topline. Strong muscular quarters and in good coat. Moved soundly with good drive. 2 Martin & Strutt's Poppyblu Sirius. Pleasing size and presents a typical outlook. Good head shape, clean front and good legs and feet. Firm body with a good tailset and carriage. Once he got into his stride moved well. Not the strength of hindquarters of the winner. 1 Bouse's Beaconslight Admirable Guy. Workmanlike dog of good make and shape and well built throughout. Pleasing head, eye and expression. Straight front and very clean over his neck and shoulders. Flat ribs and the best topline in the class. Pleasing bend of stifle and well let down hocks. Positive on the move. 2 Hewitt-Taylor's Mollora Red Kite For Tobanie. Nicely balanced throughout. Typical in head with a good eye colour to match his liver coat. Pleasing front, good body shape and well made quarters. Moved out well but just preferred the neck and shoulders of the winner. 3 McCourt's Bisbee Super Trooper. 1 Kiernan's Ch Sharnor High I'M Viktor At Kierlander. Very impressive, and like a good wine, just improves with age. Feel he has come together since I last judged him and was a pleasure to go over him on the day. Excellent head, low well set ears and the brightest of expressions. Good body shape with pleasing depth of chest and a correct topline and tailset. Strong muscular hindquarters, moderate angulation and precise sound movement with a typical action, CC. 2 Davies' Ch Honeymist Blue Bols. Another very good one who pushed the winner all the way. Good size, well balanced and built on clean and graceful lines, everything just flows when you go over him. Best of heads, small dark eye and a good reach of neck set in well placed shoulders. Firm body, correct topline and a good tailset and carriage. Presented in super coat and condition. Moved soundly both fore and aft, Res CC. 3 Pedersen's Sharnor High Society. 1 McManus' Travellerways Jessica. Pretty bitch with a very feminine outlook, good size and nicely made throughout. Balanced head with a good eye and expression. Good body shape with a pleasing topline that she held on the move. Best mover in the class. 2 Farnworth's Sharnor Kwick Kuddles For Tsantha. Youngster of overall good make and shape. Lovely dark eye with a pleasing expression and low well set ears of good texture. Firm body and well developed quarters for her age. Not as positive on the move as the winner. 3 Doble's Daisy Rose Petal. 1 Hewitt-Taylor's Tobanie Earth Song. Alone but a worthy winner. Good size, nicely balanced and presents a typical outlook. Pleasing head, good shape and a keen eye and expression. Stands on good legs and feet, good body shape and sound and positive on the move. 1 Lacey's Bowlingbrook Makingwhoopi. Very impressed with this young lad who I am sure will have a bright future. Beautifully balanced and is so well put together for her age. Lovely headpiece with good strength and the best of expressions. Pleasing front assembly with a good reach of neck set in well placed shoulders. Good body shape, firm hindquarters and in good coat on the day. Sound typical action, BP. 2 Sharnor's Kwick Kuddles For Tsantha. 3 Cleaver's Jobanker Tinsel Town. 1 Fletcher's Janmark Justfor'J For Maevani. Quality youngster who was presented in immaculate coat and condition on the day. Another who impressed greatly and with a little more maturity will be pushing for top honours. Best of heads, so typical with a lovely dark eye and alert expression. Best of fronts standing on good legs and feet, well developed body for her age and good strength of quarters. Moved soundly on a good stride. 2 Bambridge's Woolytop Bluebell Girl At Beckstone. Pretty bitch of good size and a clean outline and looks like she is made for her original purpose. Balanced head with good strength and a pleasing eye and expression. Scores in neck and shoulders, good body shape, pleasing topline and sound on the move. 3 Cleaver's Jobanker Virtuous Veronica. PGB (5)1 Competitive class headed by three good bitches. 1 Janmark Justfor'J For Maevani. 2 Pedersen's Janmark Jingle Jangle. Another very well made bitch of good type and is built on flowing lines. Best of heads, low set ears of good texture and a pleasing eye and expression. Good reach of neck set in well placed shoulders, pleasing depth of chest and well made hindquarters. Once she got into her stride moved out well with a very typical action. 3 Middlebrook's Poppyblu Elara. 1 Bishop's Plumeria's Sea Breeze. Stand out winner who is beautifully balanced throughout and presents a very typical outlook both stacked and on the move. Excellent head with a good eye colour to match her liver coat. Neat front standing on the best of legs and feet, firm body with a good topline and tailset and well let down hocks. Moved soundly both fore and aft. Put down on the day in good order. 2 Hall's Fralex Culibre Amber. Smaller framed bitch but is very well constructed and shows no sign of weakness. Balanced head, good strength of jaw and a very pleasing expression. Clean front assembly, good depth, firm back and pleasing topline. Moved well, positive in front and good drive from the rear. 3 Mitchell's Miteymidgets Say Mama. 1 Davies' Ch Honeymist Posh Dreamz. Stand out bitch who just demands attention as soon as she enters the ring. Put down to perfection on the day, best of coats and in firm hard condition. Good size, graceful appearance as the standard asks for and so well balanced throughout. Best of heads, small dark eye with the brightest of expressions. Excellent front, good reach of neck set in well placed shoulders, good body shape with a pleasing topline and tailset. Well muscled quarters and such a sound positive move with a very typical action, CC & BOB. 2 Rainsbury & Hamilton's Jetsway Absolute Ice At Tangris. Another very impressive bitch who was unlucky to meet the winner in such form on the day. Lovely to go over and is so typical throughout presenting a clean and flowing outline. Good head, well balanced with strength, neat low set ears and a good eye and expression. Very clean over the neck and shoulders, good depth of chest, correct topline and strong hindquarters that she uses to advantage on the move. Very sound, Res CC. 3 Bishop's Fralex Culibre Bolyn. |
