BEDLINGTON TERRIER

I would like to thank the officers and committee for inviting me to judge at your show and also the exhibitors for entering. I was very pleased with the overall quality of both the dogs and bitches however I was disappointed at the lack of muscle tone on many of the exhibits.

PUPPY DOG (2 ENTRIES) ABS: 0

1ST – KIERNAN MR P & LIU MRS D, SHARNOR HIGH I’M VIKTOR AT KIERLANDER: Nice sized blue dog coming up for 12 months of age. Nice masculine head with large clean teeth and correct bite. Correct arch over loin which he kept on the move. Good tail carriage and moved well. Groomed to perfection. BEST PUPPY. I was also delighted to hear that he went on to win the Terrier puppy group.

2ND – ELDER MRS H, JOBANKER MUSIC MAESTRO: Slightly taller blue dog just 8 months of age therefore still needs to mature. Nice lean masculine head, correct bite. Moved ok but tended to flatten on the move. Preferred overall confirmation of 1st.

1ST - ERIKSSON M & FREEMAN L M, AM GR CH NORD CH ISOTOP’S XCEPTIONAL FRIEND: What a stunning boy! 5 year old blue dog, up to size but everything in proportion. Excellent movement both coming and going with plenty of drive. Strong masculine head with correct bite. Well boned with correct length to height ratio. Well muscled with correct tail carriage. BEST DOG & B.O.B.

2ND – JONES OBE DR H & JONES MRS E, PENGERRIG UNIQUE SH CM: Racier type 4 year old blue dog with a strong masculine head, large clean teeth with correct bite. Dark jacket with correct shoulder placement. Well boned and moved well. Just preferred overall picture of 1st RESERVE BEST DOG

3RD – OWEN MRS D, CH BISBEE BEACHCOMBER JW

PUPPY BITCH (4 ENTRIES) ABS: 0

1ST – AMES MRS S & MR N, SHARNOR HIGH HOPES: Nice sized blue bitch coming upto 12 months of age. Very feminine expression with correct bite and dark eyes. Correct arch over loin which was kept on the move. Good tail set and carriage. Moved well but front movement needs to tighten up which should come as she matures.

2ND – JONES OBE DR H & JONES MRS E, TCHERIA TYDFIL OF PENGERRIG: Just 6 months old and still a baby. Sweet expression with a long neck leading to correctly placed shoulders. Moved very well for one so young.

3RD – BANNISTER MRS Y E, TCHERIA TCHAFFINCH WITH MITEYMIDGETS

POSTGRADUATE BITCH (2 ENTRIES) ABS: 0

1ST – BEESLEY MR & MRS J & M, LOWBROOK LITTLE CHINA GIRL AT FLINTSTOR: Liver bitch, with feminine expression, correct amber eye and scissor bite. Nice size with correct proportions. Good coat colour and tail carriage. Moved ok.

2ND – CLEAVER MRS P A, TREDOMEN ROSE FOR MY ROSE OF JOBANKER: Up to size blue bitch with a long lean head and nice length of neck. Moved a little close behind.

OPEN BITCH (4 ENTRIES) ABS: 2

1ST – BANNISTER MR C & MRS Y E, MITEYMIDGETS LOOK OF LOVE SH CM: Nice sized blue bitch presented in good condition. Well off for bone and muscle tone. Feminine expression with dark eyes, correct ear placement and long neck leading to correctly placed shoulders. Flat ribbed and kept arch over loin on the move.
Moved with drive. BEST BITCH

2ND - WILLIAMS MRS L J & MR P F, YSTWYTHBAY RHAPSODY IN BLUE: Nice sized blue bitch with a lovely dark jacket of correct texture. Feminine expression with correct dark eye. Moved well but tended to flatten slightly. RESERVE BEST BITCH
