BEDLINGTON JUDGE THREE COUNTIES 13

Bedlington Terriers

PD & PGD (0).

OD (1)

1 Ames’ Sharnor Faithful Falcon, of obvious CC quality. Lovely head, well filled under the eye, long tapered jaw, long neck, breed specific front, deep, good rise over loin & tuck-up. Went a touch casual behind though had good quarters. Good coat, immaculately turned out. BD.

PB (1)

1 Beesley’s Lowbrook Little China Girl at Flintstar, 7 months, bred in the purple & out of the record winning BOB. Feminine, head of correct shape. Eye a touch round. Promise of a good jacket. Obviously needs to deepen in chest but very shapely & of ideal size, firm quarters. Her movement, even at this tender age, brought the Standard to life since it was ‘rather mincing, light & springy’ yet fluid & effortless. Retained her shape at all times, such promise. BP.

PGB (1)

1 Owen’s Doehey My Hearts Content by Bisbee, typy yearling of a desirably dark colour, well filled head of good length, well cut up underline, good shape. Body length OK as per the Standard but a touch ‘on the leg’. Bit straight in rear, albeit the requirement is only for a "moderate” turn of stifle. Correct front; excellent feet, strong frame while retaining her femininity.

OB (6)

1 Yearley’s Ch Gnejnabay Genegenie at Lowbrook, very much the yummy mummy! As her infant daughter exemplified the unique breed movement, so this bitch brought to life breed head, type & body shape. Feminine, unexaggerated, deep, shapely, correct angulation where fore & aft are accurately matched. A privilege to get ‘hands on’ an exhibit of this quality. Moved true if a touch ‘stately’ as befits her status. BOB;

2 Butler’s Yarbach Gorgeous Gabby, excellent breed outline when stacked that filled my eye, very good head. That outline tended to become a touch exaggerated in profile on the move. Excellent front, correct length in hindlegs, deep, sound, well turned out & will surely make her presence felt this season. RBB;

3 Williams’ Ystwythbay Rhapsody In Blue.
