BEDLINGTON JUDGE THREE COUNTIES 12

Bedlington Terriers

A good entry for a non-CC show.

PD (2)

1 Walshaw & Richardson’s Janmark Jeremiah, 11 month, top size but shapely with good rise over the loin & good proportions. Lithe & scopey on the move, very good head & eye, uses his hocks well, good coat texture. Can tighten up in front. BP;

2 Brady & Carter’s Tcheria Shenanigans, 8 month, excellent colour & pigmentation. A raw youngster who can drop yet in chest. Not the length or cleanness in head of 1, not as coordinated on the move as 1.

JD (2)

1 J Jeremiah.

PGD (1)

1 Palmer, Roberts & Roberts’ Jetsway Captain Morgan, blue, good colour & texture of coat, good body proportions. Needs a little more rise over the loin & fallaway to croup. Good head, ears of fine texture but a little high set. Sound rear action but could be better in front.

OD (3)

1 Walshaw’s Ch Janmark Blue Encounter, very good forehand & excellent head & eye, good coat texture, front movement excellent. I would prefer a little more rise over loin & fallaway to tailset but scored in carriage on the move. BD;

2 Owen’s Ch Bisbee Beachcomber, very shapely dog with the rise over loin & fallaway I preferred to 1. Excellent head, eye & ears, light action on the move. His tail carriage was too high & spoilt his topline on the move which decided the issue. RBD.

PB (3)

1 Mayers’ Tcheria Flibbertigibbet, lovely 9 month puppy, excellent colour & texture, correct topline held on the move, quality in head & eye. Ears a little high set . When she settled moved accurately & lightly. BPB. Not as coordinated or mature as the dog for BP;

2 Palmer, Roberts & Roberts’ Ruffsfurze Meliha, 11 month, shapely & feminine, long clean head. Ears a little heavy. Good body shape but needs to drop in brisket now. Holds her shape on the move but needs to firm up in hocks;

3 Owen’s Doehey My Hearts Content By Bisbee.

JB (1)

1 Williams’ Ystwythbay Rhapsody In Blue, 12 month blue, good body proportions but flattens on the move. Long clean head, good eye. Ears could be flatter. Good stride.

PGB (0).

OB (8)

Very mixed for type here but a lot of quality.

1 Walshaw’s Janmark Misty Horizons, top size for a bitch but has good length to body & the best topline on the move with rise over loin & sufficient fallaway. Very good head, eye & ear, well constructed, correct forehand & good feet. Light scopey mover. BOB;

2 Yearley’s Ch Gnejnabay Gene Genie Gal at Lowbrook, lovely quality liver who seize I preferred to 1. Wonderful forehand, copybook feminine head, good eye & lovely horseshoe front. Excellent coat for texture & colour. Not the topline of 1 or her lightness on the move. RBB;

3 Butler’s Yanbach Gorgeous Gabby.
