BEDLINGTON SOUTHERN COUNTIES 14 Judge(s): PATSY HOLLINGS Bedlington Terriers PD (4) 1 Kiernan & Liu’s Sharnor High I’m Viktor at Kierlander, this 11 month old is mature with striking silhouette both standing & moving. So balanced, appealed for size & clean shapely. Lithe & free moving. BP; 2 Mayers’ Tcheria Tchevalier, 6 months & as with 3rd. Showing a lot of promise with typical shape. Grand head, with good nose, correctly set ear which are fine & hanging in typical shape. Long well fitting neck, of good size. Good linty coat texture; 3 Williamson’s Mitchells Rocket. JD (2,1) 1 Harris’ Ratzwell D’artagan, 13 months, masculine, supple with balance of head, clean neckline, curved topline with muscular loin. Easy & sensible mover. Well presented. PGD (3) 1 Honey’s Burbeach Sunlight, skull narrow, but not weak or shallow. Strength in foreface. Fine ear. Has depth of rib, balanced bone. Masculine & sound. Rather proud of his tail but he is a teenager. Fluid ground cover; 2 Smith’s Vakurblue Eggie Bread, like his size & outline with correct arch over loin, flat ribs of good depth. Would just prefer stronger jaw; 3 McCourt’s Burmington Hush A Bye. LD (1) 1 Davies’ Honeymist Sunny Delight, this 2 year old was immaculately presented. He is clean with power. No exaggeration, super head with typical shape & big white well placed teeth housed in strong dry foreface. Really well padded feet. Mature but not overdone. Went true working with handler to advantage. Very much in the running. OD (7) 1 Eriksson & Freeman’s Am Gr/Nord Ch Isotop’s Xceptional Friend, 2 years immaculate young man. Clean, supple, no exaggeration. His head has correct filling with wedge shape to dry muzzle & big white teeth with excellent bite. Long neck flowing through smooth shoulders, front coming in well to padded feet. Has depth & flat ribs with strong loin & correct arch. Well set tail with muscular quarters. Light, ground cover. CC, pleased to hear his 3rd, well done; 2 Walshaw & Richardson’s Janmark Jeremiah, this chap has so much quality & type, he is made right so moves right . Has correct linty coat, good quarters & muscular definition. Masculine head, not overdone, super lines & positive movement. Just a touch too much weight against winner today, but well deserved RCC; 3 Ames’ Ch Sharnor Faithful Falcon. V (2) 1 Baldwin’s Woolytop Iwan Super Wizard, 10 years balanced dog with good head proportions & balance. Strength in muzzle housing big teeth. Clean neckline, typical outline with strong loin. Went with good carriage; 2 Hewitt-Taylor’s Mollora Eastern Dawn for Tobanie, smart feminine bitch who goes with easy smooth side gait. Nicely made topped by coat in lovely order. GC (3) 1 B Sunlight; 2 Hewitt-Taylor’s Tobanie Earth Song, bitch who is satisfying to lay hands on. Super eye, skull narrow & balance of head. Good bone, correct coat texture. Tidy all through; 3 Fielding’s Burbeach Starlight. PB (7) 1 Walshaw’s Janmark Jkay, nothing exaggerated, just so typical & absolutely sound, a real Bedlington, with a super coat. Just right for age, thought very highly of her, must enjoy a lovely future; 2 Moore & Chudleigh’s Tcheria Tcheerleader, 6 months baby but true throughout giving correct silhouette. Grand head, dry with tapering muzzle but still has good width of underjaw that houses well placed teeth. Feminine & would not want her any different at this stage; 3 Davies’ Honeymist Posh Sugar. PGB (5,1) 1 Beesley’s Lowbrook Little China Girl at Flintstor, youngster who could give her handler a hard time. She presents a typical picture & has all the essentials, which is evident when she moves, giving a much more shapely outline. Liked her development without being overdone. Lovely condition & pleasing coat & texture; 2 Godden’s Vakurblue Bacon Buttie, honest bitch with pleasing personality. She has balance of head, elegance & shapely in outline, has good width to rump & decent tailset. Went well; 3 B Starlight. LB (7,1) 1 & 2 were close up, felt on the day 1 just had the more reach & supple action. 1 Davies’ Honeymist Posh Dreamz, really satisfying to go over. Feminine, excellent presentation, head is filled nicely shaped on long dry neck. Flat ribs, balanced bone, excellent feet. Correct tuck, muscular quarters. Doing her job to advantage; 2 Mayers & Bannister’s Toolbox Helping Hand for Tcheria, quality all through, super shape. Is flexible, sound, in good order. Pushing winner all the way, two good ones; 3 Kinns’ Burmington Reet Petite. OB (8) 1 Walshaw’s Janmark Justintime, headed a good class. Beautiful bitch, precise mover, lithe, supple & agile. Head is of correct shape making for excellent expression, ear is fine, well shaped falling correctly. Good nose & width of muzzle. Front is tapering to padded feet, ribs flat with arch over strong loin. Has good rump strong muscular quarters, comes alive on the move to present a supple lithe easy action displaying personality. CC & BOB; 2 Mayers’ Tcheria Flibbertigibbet, such a typical honest sort. Not quite the drive or ground cover of winner, but frankly does nothing to disappoint in ant department. Super condition, presentation & coat. Really deserved RCC in good company; 3 Williams’ Ystwythbay Rhapsody In Blue. Best Breeder 1 Walshaw, quality, sound with good outline on these dogs which showed so well. PATSY HOLLINGS |
