BORDER SOUTH WALES 14 Judge(s): SARAH L COLLIER Bedlington Terriers I would like to thank all of the exhibitors who entered & attend despite the BTA show being so close. I thoroughly enjoyed my day & hope that the entry numbers grow as this really is a lovely show with a fantastic venue. One thing I think I need to mention is that I found some exhibits to be far heavier & lighter than I would like to see in the ring. J (2) 1 Yearly’s Lowbrook Little Mo, first show for this little bitch & a privilege to judge her. Darker coat than most, but with a good curl to it. Beautiful characteristic outline with well placed arch. Nice long head & good deep ribs. Best mover of the day as she’s so well balanced. I only hope she doesn’t get any bigger. BB & BP; 2 Jones’ Tcheria Tydfil of Pengerrig, lovely coat with good colour & texture. Nice big head with dark eye. Again up to size. Preferred movement of 1. OD (2) 1 Jones’ Pengerrig Unique, mature dog with decent coat. Nice big head & lovely deep flat ribs. Good muscletone with good movement. Arch a little further forward than I would like, but nicely presented with a strong rearend & turn of stifle. BD & BOB; 2 Bouse’ Summer Warrior, younger dog, lovely outline. Nice head with dark eye. Correct arch which he kept on the move. Wide front which unfortunately let his movement down. RBD. OB (4,1a) 1 Beesley’s Lowbrook Little China Girl at Flintstor, nice little bitch of correct size. In good coat for her colour. Feminine head with good sized ears. Nice muscletone though a little heavy on her ribs. RBB; 2 McNally’s Aireview Cristal Blue, beautifully groomed & in very good coat. Again arch further forward than I would like which let her movement down. Carrying too much weight. Handled well though not throughout; 3 McNally’s Aireview Dancing Queen at Conekesheved.
