BEDLINGTON SKC OCTOBER 22 Judge: Mr M Ord Sadly no young males in todays entry. 1 Oxbury & Tonner’s Tunman Full Throttle at Jukenblu masculine size, silky profuse coat covering a well shaped head, well set ears of good size & shape, small dark expressive eyes, tapering long neck to good front, correct rib shape & arch over his loin, has good linty textured coat & is well presented in hard muscular condition, today moving better in front than from the rear, tail of correct length but lacking the desired slight curve, has good shaped feet with thick pads; 2 Ross’s Major Tufts at Mactufts mature 8 yr old who has pleasing depth to his chest, firm loin with desired arch, in good textured coat but lacking the condition of 1, tending to stand & love slightly wide in front. 1 & C.C. Offer’s Ch Woolytop The Viking, has done well under me previously & more than happy to award him top spot in males today, presents a pleasing profile while stacked with pleasing head shape & strong jaw, good eye & ear placement, stands with his forelegs straight & has the slight slope to pasterns, deep in chest & defined tuck up, correct linty coat, hard muscular condition, well shaped hair feet with good pads, correct tail set & carriage, moved soundly; 2 Baldwin’s Woolytop The Pipers Son JW, smaller than 1 this liver is still masculine & in proportion from head to tail, head of good proportions with correct eye & ear, long firm tapering neck, good depth to rib & firm loin, correct hare feet & lovely tail set & carriage, today moving better in front than rear; 3 Scott’s L’End Show Melody Maker. 1 & Res C.C. Martin’s Ch Honeymist Blue Bols correct size male in excellent hard condition & presented to perfection, can not fault his head & still in excellent body condition with desirable rib shape & arch over his loin, good definition of tuck up, correct coat texture, hare feet & well set tail, pushed hard for top spot & can certainly still hold his own in any competition. 1, B. Puppy & Res C.C. Scott’s Janmark Je Ne Sais Pas avec Mickleview, she is feminine & yet to develop in body but no fault at this age, very desirable head with well set eye & good expression, correct ear, strong jaw with correct dentition, has correct hare feet, linty coat texture & correct tail set & carriage, lovely free easy stride which won her this award today, shown on loose lead & to her advantage; 2 Gillie’s Rhicullen Rebel Heart, slightly larger build than 1, liked the head & fair length of tapering neck, muscular body with natural arch, needs to relax & if owner loosened lead would not be fighting against it, has tail of good length & set but as fighting against lead tail was being held slightly low. 1 Mcnally’s Ch Coneksheved Too Shy JW, easy for anyone to see why she has gained her title so early she shouts Champion at you on first impression. She is certainly graceful both on stack & certainly when moving on her loose lead, handler gets the best from her at all times. Feminine all through but no sign of weakness & has the desired powerful jaw & large nostrils & excellent pigmentation. Well presented linty coat & muscular condition, just enough body for a youngster & has good tuck up & arch of loin, nothing exaggerated & sound this and her movement made top award an easy decision today, C.C. & B.O.B. She put in a good performance in the group where she was short listed. 1 Mackie’s Rhicullen Dancing Girl, another liver today which I do like to see in the ring, presents a pleasing profile but for me a little heavy in coat but texture was ok, feminine head with strong jaw, good ear set, needs to tighten in front action, correct tail set & carried correctly, good shaped hare feet; 2 Ross’s Mactufts Nanny McPhee smaller & more compact than 1 she is another rather heavy in coat, has good skull but would like a little more strength to under jaw, tail well set but she was slightly apprehensive while moving. 1 Ross’s Mactufts Kindred Spirit, pleasing shape being both feminine but has strength, lovely eye placement & correctly shaped ears, tapering neck of fair length, pleasing body proportions & has well set hocks while stood, correct tai set but another who would benefit from loose lead training ; 2 Mcmurdo’s Rocabec Scandal, lacking in size & substance for me & did not have strength of jaw, linty coat but not in best of condition, despite being quite fine she was moving quite wide in her front, well set hocks & tail ok. 1 Baldwin’s Woolytop Leading Lady, pleasing size & flowing profile with no exaggerations, desirable in head, neck & shoulder, depth of rib & good tuck up with arch over her firm strong loin, well set hock & correct tail carriage, well presented & in hard muscle tone, linty coat & correct tail. Considered strongly for Res C.C. but today tending to move sideways both coming & going yet in profile she was not, quality girl who also might benefit from loose lead; 2 Scott’s Ch. Janmark Just Do It, liked shape & size of this bitch but also not giving her best on the move today, well shaped head with strong powerful jaw, excellent in eye & ear, tapering neck of fair length to well laid shoulder set, excellent in rib & loin, stands firm in rear with well set tail, has excellent shaped feet just wish she had been more relaxed & perhaps would have moved better; 3 R Scandal. 1 Oxbury & Tonner’s Miteymidgets Nations Unite at Jukenblu Sh CM, 8 yr old b who I think has improved with maturity & never seen her look better, in hard condition & gives a pleasing picture on stack, a little unenthusiastic on the move though at times, she is feminine of correct size & has good head proportions with strength to her jaw, correct in eye & ear, good body condition for senior age & pleasing coat condition.
