Judge(s): MRS E NEEDHAM Bedlington Terriers Not a numerically large entry but plenty of quality in the exhibits. P (2) 1 Mayers’ Toolbox Helping Hand for Tcheria, 9 months bitch maturing quite well, head developing with typical eye, good mouth, correct in neck with well laid shoulder, pleasing front & good feet, well constructed body & quarters, moving quite well for a youngster. BP; 2 Bannister’s Miteymidgets Look Of Love, 7 months & not so mature yet as 1 but has all the essentials & shows promise when fully mature. Good proportions in body, well angulated front & rear. Needs time to tighten up particularly in front. J (2) 1 Davies’ Honeymist Sunny Delight, dog just turned 12 months, typy with correct breed outline, good body proportions. At this stage needs time to develop in strength & muscle which should help generally. PGD (1) 1 Davies’ Honeymist Indigo Blues, quite pleasing head qualities, well laid shoulders, good rib length, went well. LD (4) 1 Walshaw & Richardson’s Janmark Jeremiah, the best in this class for overall construction & movement, correct head proportions, correct front, balanced angulation at both ends, moving well with correct tail carriage; 2 Cumming’s Honeymist Blue Flame at Rocabec, in good coat & well prepared, pleasing head proportions with correct eye, good front & feet, correct body construction. Well balanced but rather heavier appearance all through than 1; 3 Garbutt’s Highdene Hitman at Aireview. OD (6) 1 Owen’s Ch Bisbee Beachcomber, liked for type, balance, style, in good coat, well angulated fore & aft, short coupled with good rib length, moving well with pleasing economical movement maintaining correct topline & tail carriage. CC & BOB; 2 Walshaw’s Ch Janmark Blue Encounter, not quite so mature as 1 but liked his correct head. Pleasing front & angulation matched in the rear. Just not quite the purpose & style of 1 but nevertheless a very nice sort of Bedlington. RCC; 3 Cumming’s Ch Rocabec Definitely Maybe. PGB (0). LB (3) 1 Mayers’ Tcheria Tiddlywink, touch light in bone but correctly proportioned all through, quite pleasing head, balanced & not overdone anywhere, good length of rib, short coupled, went well; 2 Davies’ Honeymist Midnight Star, looked very good standing, turned out in well prepared good coat. Well angulated both ends, giving a positive impression all through until she moved with a less than perfect front movement, what a pity. OB (6) 1 Bannister’s Miteymidgets Myaquila, very good type, typical & well balanced, in good jacket, moved very well particularly in front, could not quite believe this bitch just turned 10 years. CC, her third; 2 Walshaw’s Janmark Justintime, very close up to 1, very well balanced bitch who I liked, in good jacket. Typical but missed out just a touch in overall quality to 1. Two very pleasing bitches. RCC; 3 Davies’ Honeymist Crazy Rhythm. EILEEN NEEDHAM |
