Delighted with the quality of the entry, they are all a real credit to you, with some very close decisions. Thank you for your sporting acceptance of my placings. SBD/B (1) 1 Long, Dunkeswell Pepper Dash 16 month old blue bitch, who is of a pleasing size and overall shape when stood. Very feminine and moderate all through. Her head is narrow, but with decent amount of depth, nice dark eye, and thin leathers. Clean neck of good length, with the chest down to the elbow with the right amount of forechest. She shows a gentle rise over the loin and a correct underline. Would like a fraction more rear angulation and lower set hocks. Moving out well, with a typical gait. Coat has a linty texture – Best Spec Beginner PD (3,1) 1 Nind & Nind, Devleigh True Blue Just 6 months old, having fun and showing lots of character. This blue dog was a little naughty, but very nice. Still very raw as you would expect, and the coat is still to come. But liked his overall shape and body proportions. Nicely balanced head, with a dark eye and low set ears. Good length of neck. Well developed through the body for his age, with the brisket well let down, at times tending to flatten his topline. Moderate in his hindquarters, with a well carried tail – BPD & BPIB 2 Fletcher, Maevani Deja Blue Smart and well presented 9 month old blue dog, much to admire, with a super temperament. Of a slightly different outline to winner, looking a little more up on the leg and compact in the body at present. Liked his head piece, good length to the foreface, nicely filled below the eyes which are dark and gentle in expression. Lovely long neck, enough depth to the brisket, and showing the tuck up. Moderate in his hindquarters. A little lose in his front action at the moment. Turned out in lovely condition and well presented. JD (2) 1 McNally, Ch Conekesheved Out Of The Blue Jw Very smart 14 month old blue dog, who caught my eye for his shapely outline. He has lovely proportions and well balanced, masculine all through without being overdone. Pleasing head shape, with good length, narrow with a good fill in, dark well shaped eye, and low set ears. Good length of neck, clean straight forelegs with strength to the pasterns. Enough depth to the brisket, with a lovely underline and topline, to a well set on and carried tail. Hindquarters are moderately angulated with low set hocks. Beautifully presented with a good coat texture. Moving out soundly in all directions whilst holding his outline and having the typical light gait. Delighted to award him DCC & BOB 2 Dobson, Devleigh Blue Thunder Outgoing 17 month old blue dog, liked his overall shape and size. Showing good balance and proportions. Masculine head, with a dark eye and kind expression. Clean neck of good length. Stands on straight forelegs and strong pasterns. He has good depth to the brisket with a decent width, and the ribs are flat. There is a gentle rise over the loin and a definite tuck up. Liked his hindquarters, moderate in angulation but with a good width of thigh and short hock to heel. Today not quite as tidy as winner in his movement and being a spirited chap tending to carry his tail a fraction higher. Good coat of linty texture. YD (1) 1 Dobson, Devleigh Blue Thunder repeat Junior Dog PGD (2,1) 1 Lacey, Bowlingbrook Hummingbird Blue dog coming up 2 years of age. On a larger frame but nicely balanced, with good proportions and body ratios. Masculine head, with good depth, lovely dark eye, a fraction shorter in foreface, thin and low set ears with a profuse top knot. Good length of neck, brisket down to the elbow, with flat ribs. Holding a correct topline and moderate in his hindquarters. True in his action fore and aft, tending to fly his tail a little. Presented with a linty jacket. LD (3,1) 1 Bannister, Miteymidgets Modern Love JW Most appealing 2 year old blue dog. Thought he was of a lovely size and presented a typical outline when stood. Very balanced with good overall proportions. Pleasing masculine head, of good length, strength and depth, in an unbroken line, expressive dark eyes. Clean neck of good length, showing depth and a decent width in front. Correct flat ribs and the topline having a gentle arch over the loin. He has good width to his hindquarters, would like a fraction more bend of stifle, short hock to heel. Liked his rear action, as it is parallel and has width. Good coat texture. Was in the running for top awards 2 Poultney, Jobanker Rocky Road Workmanlike and in lovely muscular condition this 3 year old liver dog, is masculine and has good overall balance. His head is of good length, well filled below the eye, and no stop evident. Pleasing gentle expression from his hazel eyes. Good length of neck, chest is down to the elbow and with width. Straight forelegs with a slight slope to the pasterns, onto hare feet. Correct rise over the loin, preferred tail set and carriage today of winner. Liked his hindquarters, moderate but with width to the thigh and in good muscle tone. Not quite as fluid on the move as 1. Linty coat of good colour. OD (4) 1 Hanes, Janmark Man In The Middle Jw Beautifully presented and well handled 19 month old blue dog. Built on a slightly larger frame, but still has lovely balance and all in proportion. He has a lovely flow to his outline and eye catching when stood. Masculine head, with a good fill in below the eyes, dark eye and pigmentation. Good length of neck, the brisket is down to the elbow, with forelegs straight. Presented a good tuck up, at times tending to flatten his topline. Strong hindquarters, with a moderate stifle and lovely short hocks, Well set on and carried tail. Moving out cleanly 2 Godden, Ozbreeze Surprise Of The Day At Vakurblue 4 year old blue dog who is built on flowing lines. Masculine all through and presents a typical outline when stood. Pleasing head, long and narrow with good depth. Dark eye and pigmentation, low set and thin leathers. Clean neck, good depth to the brisket with width to the chest. Holding a good topline and underline both stood and on the move. Moderate hindquarters and short hock to heel. Not quite as tidy on the move as winner today. Good coat texture and presentation. 3 Bannister, Miteymidgets New Vision JW VD (1) 1 Offer, Ch Woolytop The Wherryman Sh.CM ShCEx VW Well presented and shapely 7 year old pale blue dog, who is looking in fine fettle. He is top end for size, but, when stood he has a graceful outline with one part flowing seamlessly into the next, quality all through. Masculine head, narrow and deep, with a lovely dark eye, low set thin leathers to give a gentle expression. Good length of neck, brisket is well let down with the right amount of spring to the ribcage. His topline shows a nice rise over the loin, with a good underline. Moderate angulation in the hindquarters, with a nice width to the thigh. Tail carried correctly. Moving out well in all directions, presented with a good linty jacket – RDCC & BV, delighted to hear he went onto win the Terrier Veteran Group – Congratulations. PB (2,1) 1 Moore & Chudleigh, Devleigh Papa Don’t Preach 6 month old blue bitch, and litter sister to BPD. Much to like on this youngster, everything is in the right place just needing time. Liked her overall size and proportions. Pleasing shape to the head, narrow but with depth. Good length of neck, needing to develop in brisket, ribs are flat and carried well back. Topline flattening out a little at present, good set on of tail. Moderate hindquarters. Moving out well for her age. Time will be her friend - BPB JB (2,1) 1 Scott & Scott, Mickleview Silent Storm Liked the overall stamp of this 15 month old blue bitch, she has a shapely outline when stood, feminine and graceful. She is of a nice size and has lovely balance. Her head is narrow, deep with a profuse top knot. Dark inquisitive eyes and low set thin leathers. Her neck is long and tapers. Just enough depth to the brisket, shows a nice width in front. Liked her well held topline and tucked up underline. Strong hindquarters with the correct amount of bend to the stifle and low set hocks. She has a lightness to her strides in profile, parallel movement going away, a little untidy today in front. Presented with a linty jacket YB (2) 1 Harris, Ratzwell Jolly Jubilee JW Blue bitch coming up 2 years of age, she has a lovely rapport with her handler, alert yet gentle in her demeanour. She is balanced and unexaggerated, so very feminine and shapely. Having an appealing wedge shaped head, with good fill in below the eyes, and dark keen eyes. Neck of good length, forelegs straight, with a nice amount of width, brisket is down to the elbow, with the flat ribs carried well back to a definite tuck up. Flattening her topline at times today. Liked her hindquarters, showing the desired moderate angulation and a width to the thigh. Typical in her gait, light in her action and true in her footfall 2 Long, Dunkeswell Pepper Dash Repeat SB PGB (1) 1 Long, Dunkeswell Pebble Run Liked the overall size and femininity of this 3 year old blue bitch. Her head is narrow but has depth, with an unbroken line, dark intelligent eyes which are gentle in their expression. Clean neck of good length, well developed in front with width across the chest and depth to the brisket. She shows a good underline with a nice tuck up, tending to lose her topline slightly today. Pleasing quarters, with a good width of thigh and moderate in angulation. Moving nicely in profile, just a little unsettled out and back. Linty coat texture. LB (3) 1 Hanes, Janmark The Name Of The Game Jw Very graceful and flowing 16 month old blue bitch, from a larger mould, she has beautiful poise when stood. Feminine head, narrow wedge shape, dark well shaped eye, with a kind expression. Long neck, clean and elegant, enough depth of chest with a nice width in front. Her ribcage has the desired flat ribs and the topline shows an arch over the loin. Moderate hindquarters, which she put to effective use on the move to show a light and mincing gait, clean and true in her hind action. Well presented with a good coat texture. 2 Moore & Chudleigh, Devleigh Dirty Dancing Much to admire on this workmanlike 4 year old blue bitch, thought she was of a lovely shape and size, with good overall balance and proportions. Feminine head, nice wedge shape, narrow and with a dark well shaped eye. Good length of neck, lovely depth and width to the chest. Her underline has the desired tuck up, at times flattening her topline. Liked her hindquarters, moderate but wide with low set hocks. Moving in a typical fashion in her side gait, today losing out as not as tidy in her rear action. 3 Lacey, Bowlingbrook Tumbleyweed OB (6) 1 McNally, Ch Conekesheved Too Shy Jw Lovely outline on this 3 year old blue bitch. So well balanced and presenting the desire silhouette. Wouldn’t want any more of her, but everything is in proportion and balanced. Lovely head piece, narrow with nice rounding, good length to foreface, dark intelligent eyes, finished off with a profuse top knot. Clean neck of good length, her chest is well let down with the flat ribs, and showing a gentle arch over the loin. Liked her hindquarters, with a moderate bend of stifle, muscular thighs and low set hocks. Put down in super coat of a good texture and condition. Showing herself off well on the move, with a lightness to her action – BCC & BOS 2 Baldwin & Baldwin, Woolytop Leading Lady So much to admire on this 4 year old pale blue bitch. She is of a lovely size, feminine and holds the desired outline both stood and on the move. Feminine head, with a lovely dark eye, her ears are thin and low set framing her face. Clean neck of good length, with the brisket down the elbow. Liked her topline and underline, which shows a nice rise over the loin. Moderate hindquarters and low set hocks. She has a lovely side profile gait, so light and effortless, a fraction wider in front today, clean and true behind. Presented in a linty jacket. – RBCC 3 Scott & Scott, Janmark Je Ne Sais Pas Avec Mickleview JW VB (2) 1 Bannister, Ch Miteymidgets Going Global JW Sh.CM VW Wow, another super veteran, hard to believe she is 10 years old. When stood, she presents a very shapely and elegant outline. So very feminine and graceful. Balanced and proportionate head, narrow with good depth, lovely dark triangular eye with a gentle expression. Clean neck of good length, depth to the brisket. Straight forelegs, with a slight slope to the pasterns and correct shaped front. Holding a good topline with the desired arch over the loin and moderate rear angulation. Moving out soundly in all directions whilst holding her shape. Close up for top awards 2 Moore & Chudleigh, Ch Devleigh Dare To Dream Blue bitch who wears her 8 years well and looking in fine fettle. Smart in her outline, of a nice size and shapely profile. Nice wedge shape to her head, narrow with depth, lovely dark eye and pigmentation. Liked her depth of brisket and width of chest, ribs are flat, with a good tuck up and arch to the loin. Strong in her quarters, with a good width to the thigh, moderate turn of stifle with hock that are low set. 1 Long, Dunkeswell Pepper Dash 16 month old blue bitch, who is of a pleasing size and overall shape when stood. Very feminine and moderate all through. Her head is narrow, but with decent amount of depth, nice dark eye, and thin leathers. Clean neck of good length, with the chest down to the elbow with the right amount of forechest. She shows a gentle rise over the loin and a correct underline. Would like a fraction more rear angulation and lower set hocks. Moving out well, with a typical gait. Coat has a linty texture – Best Spec Beginner

PD (3,1)

1 Nind & Nind, Devleigh True Blue Just 6 months old, having fun and showing lots of character. This blue dog was a little naughty, but very nice. Still very raw as you would expect, and the coat is still to come. But liked his overall shape and body proportions. Nicely balanced head, with a dark eye and low set ears. Good length of neck. Well developed through the body for his age, with the brisket well let down, at times tending to flatten his topline. Moderate in his hindquarters, with a well carried tail – BPD & BPIB

2 Fletcher, Maevani Deja Blue Smart and well presented 9 month old blue dog, much to admire, with a super temperament. Of a slightly different outline to winner, looking a little more up on the leg and compact in the body at present. Liked his head piece, good length to the foreface, nicely filled below the eyes which are dark and gentle in expression. Lovely long neck, enough depth to the brisket, and showing the tuck up. 1 McNally, Ch Conekesheved Out Of The Blue Jw Very smart 14 month old blue dog, who caught my eye for his shapely outline. He has lovely proportions and well balanced, masculine all through without being overdone. Pleasing head shape, with good length, narrow with a good fill in, dark well shaped eye, and low set ears. Good length of neck, clean straight forelegs with strength to the pasterns. Enough depth to the brisket, with a lovely underline and topline, to a well set on and carried tail. Hindquarters are moderately angulated with low set hocks. Beautifully presented with a good coat texture. Moving out soundly in all directions whilst holding his outline and having the typical light gait. Delighted to award him DCC & BOB

1 Dobson, Devleigh Blue Thunder repeat Junior Dog

1 Lacey, Bowlingbrook Hummingbird Blue dog coming up 2 years of age. On a larger frame but nicely balanced, with good proportions and body ratios. Masculine head, with good depth, lovely dark eye, a fraction shorter in foreface, thin and low set ears with a profuse top knot. Good length of neck, brisket down to the elbow, with flat ribs. 1 Bannister, Miteymidgets Modern Love JW Most appealing 2 year old blue dog. Thought he was of a lovely size and presented a typical outline when stood. Very balanced with good overall proportions. Pleasing masculine head, of good length, strength and depth, in an unbroken line, expressive dark eyes. Clean neck of good length, showing depth and a decent width in front. Correct flat ribs and the topline having a gentle arch over the loin. He has good width to his hindquarters, would like a fraction more bend of stifle, short hock to heel. Liked his rear action, as it is parallel and has width. Good coat texture. Was in the running for top awards

2 Poultney, Jobanker Rocky Road Workmanlike and in lovely muscular condition this 3 year old liver dog, is masculine and has good overall balance. 1 Hanes, Janmark Man In The Middle Jw Beautifully presented and well handled 19 month old blue dog. Built on a slightly larger frame, but still has lovely balance and all in proportion. He has a lovely flow to his outline and eye catching when stood. Masculine head, with a good fill in below the eyes, dark eye and pigmentation. Good length of neck, the brisket is down to the elbow, with forelegs straight. Presented a good tuck up, at times tending to flatten his topline. Strong hindquarters, with a moderate stifle and lovely short hocks, Well set on and carried tail. Moving out cleanly

2 Godden, Ozbreeze Surprise Of The Day At Vakurblue 4 year old blue dog who is built on flowing lines. Masculine all through and presents a typical outline when stood. Pleasing head, long and narrow with good depth. Dark eye and pigmentation, low set and thin leathers. Clean neck, good depth to the brisket with width to the chest. Holding a good topline and underline both stood and on the move. Moderate hindquarters and short hock to heel. Not quite as tidy on the move as winner today. Good coat texture and presentation.

1 Offer, Ch Woolytop The Wherryman Sh.CM ShCEx VW Well presented and shapely 7 year old pale blue dog, who is looking in fine fettle. He is top end for size, but, when stood he has a graceful outline with one part flowing seamlessly into the next, quality all through. Masculine head, narrow and deep, with a lovely dark eye, low set thin leathers to give a gentle expression. Good length of neck, brisket is well let down with the right amount of spring to the ribcage. His topline shows a nice rise over the loin, with a good underline. Moderate angulation in the hindquarters, with a nice width to the thigh. Tail carried correctly. Moving out well in all directions, presented with a good linty jacket – RDCC & BV, delighted to hear he went onto win the Terrier Veteran Group – Congratulations.

1 Moore & Chudleigh, Devleigh Papa Don’t Preach 6 month old blue bitch, and litter sister to BPD. Much to like on this youngster, everything is in the right place just needing time. Liked her overall size and proportions. Pleasing shape to the head, narrow but with depth. Good length of neck, needing to develop in brisket, ribs are flat and carried well back. Topline flattening out a little at present, good set on of tail. Moderate hindquarters. Moving out well for her age. Time will be her friend - BPB

1 Scott & Scott, Mickleview Silent Storm Liked the overall stamp of this 15 month old blue bitch, she has a shapely outline when stood, feminine and graceful. She is of a nice size and has lovely balance. Her head is narrow, deep with a profuse top knot. Dark inquisitive eyes and low set thin leathers. Her neck is long and tapers. 1 Long, Dunkeswell Pebble Run Liked the overall size and femininity of this 3 year old blue bitch. Her head is narrow but has depth, with an unbroken line, dark intelligent eyes which are gentle in their expression. Clean neck of good length, well developed in front with width across the chest and depth to the brisket. She shows a good underline with a nice tuck up, tending to lose her topline slightly today. Pleasing quarters, with a good width of thigh and moderate in angulation. Moving nicely in profile, just a little unsettled out and back. Linty coat texture.

1 McNally, Ch Conekesheved Too Shy Jw Lovely outline on this 3 year old blue bitch. So well balanced and presenting the desire silhouette. Wouldn’t want any more of her, but everything is in proportion and balanced. Lovely head piece, narrow with nice rounding, good length to foreface, dark intelligent eyes, finished off with a profuse top knot. Clean neck of good length, her chest is well let down with the flat ribs, and showing a gentle arch over the loin. Liked her hindquarters, with a moderate bend of stifle, muscular thighs and low set hocks. Put down in super coat of a good texture and condition. 2 Baldwin & Baldwin, Woolytop Leading Lady So much to admire on this 4 year old pale blue bitch. She is of a lovely size, feminine and holds the desired outline both stood and on the move. 1 Bannister, Ch Miteymidgets Going Global JW Sh.CM VW Wow, another super veteran, hard to believe she is 10 years old. When stood, she presents a very shapely and elegant outline. So very feminine and graceful. Balanced and proportionate head, narrow with good depth, lovely dark triangular eye with a gentle expression. Clean neck of good length, depth to the brisket. Straight forelegs, with a slight slope to the pasterns and correct shaped front. Holding a good topline with the desired arch over the loin and moderate rear angulation. Moving out soundly in all directions whilst holding her shape. Close up for top awards

2 Moore & Chudleigh, Ch Devleigh Dare To Dream Blue bitch who wears her 8 years well and looking in fine fettle. Smart in her outline, of a nice size and shapely profile. Nice wedge shape to her head, narrow with depth, lovely dark eye and pigmentation. Liked her depth of brisket and width of chest, ribs are flat, with a good tuck up and arch to the loin. Strong in her quarters, with a good width to the thigh, moderate turn of stifle with hock that are low set. Moving out well in her side gait, with a typical lightness, today preferring the front action of winner. Coat has a linty texture.
