BEDLINGTON JUDGE NATIONAL TERRIER 11

BEDLINGTON TERRIER

An interesting entry so many different types with quite a lot lacking in muscle which did affect their movement and made it hard to place them. But I am pleased with my principal winners. Some nice youngsters coming through should do the breed well.

PD (2,1)

1 Brooks, Doehey Heartstrings. Well made dog with nice masculine head with dark eye, correct bite & ear set, good hard coat in excellent colour, could do with a little more covering on his ribs, good angulation. Moved well. BPD

JD (4)

1 Cummings, Rocabec Definitely Maybe. Liked this dog very much in good coat nice height to length with good angulation, standing on correct hare feet good neck & shoulders. Head in proportion to his body with dark eye & correct bite. Should do well once he matures considered him for rcc today.

2 Ames. Sharnor Faithful Falcon. Have liked this young man from the ring side but today he was not on form so lost out to 1. Has excellent head with plenty of foreface & good strong teeth. Good neck in to correct shoulders plenty depth of rib, with correct bend of stifle nice feet, in good coat.

3 Jones. Pengerrig Unique. Nice youngster has all the makings just needs to mature then should push hard for top placing.

PGD (2,1)

1 Colliers. Pocoblu Misterioso. Another youngster with promise in excellent coat good head & expression dark eye with good bite. Good length of neck with correct shoulders & depth of rib, nice angulation with good feet, does not need to grow anymore kept his shape on the move.

LD (1)

1 Owens. Bisbee Beachcomber JW. Another one that pushed hard for top honours today did nothing wrong, good masculine head with plenty of foreface & good bite lovely fine ears good neck & shoulders in excellent coat correct angulation on good hare feet low set tail moved with purpose.

OD (7)

1 Walters & Mitchell. Rathsrigg Millrace. This young man was in fine form today moved with drive with the roach over the loin as should be, in good coat with good furnishings, correct length to height & angulation good depth of rib. Nice lay of shoulders from a lovely long neck. Fine masculine head with dark eye & good bite, correct fine ear's. DCC & BOB

2 Walshaw's Ch Janmark Blue Encounter JW ShCM. Another good D which I have followed with interest pity he came up against 1 in good form. He has all write requirements if I could criticise it would be him lacking in coat that's all. He moved well good size with plenty of bone very masculine looking D with good head. RDCC

3 Cummings. Honeymist Blue Flame at Rocabec. Liked this young man as youngster but just lacked a bit of sparkle today.

MPB (2)

1 Lacey's Bowlingbrook Trick or Treat. Just a baby leaning when stood but moved well once she got going & I could see she was a good shape, in good coat with lovely feminine expression looked very mischievous. Owner should have some fun with her.

2 Hurley's. Fralex Culibre Pharos. Another one just a baby you could see she enjoyed her day out. Looks promising in good liver coat with good pigmentation, trimmed to perfection when she matures she should do well.

PB (3)

1 Shorrock's. Doehey Queen of Hearts. Lovely youngster with a good feminine head plenty of foreface lovely teeth & dark eye, moved well kept her top line nicely, ribs just starting to come, plenty of angulation in good strong coat. BP

2 Walshaw's. Janmark Justintime. Another good young one in good form on the day just needs to settle a bit on the move. Coat a bit soft but will come with maturity, nice head with correct bite dark pigmentation with lovely ears. I am sure will change places with winner from time to time.

3 Hewitt-Taylor's. Tobanie Earth Song Nice bitch, just not the head of the other 2.

JB (5)

1Ames. Sharnor Emerald Electra. Lovely bitch moved soundly keeping her roach were it should be very promising. Nice feminine head & expression good bite correct fine ears with lovely dark eye; in good coat trimmed well not over done. Will watch her with interest.

2 Fraser & Butler's. Sharnor Emerald Ice via Ycart. Litter sister to 1st & very similar comments of 1st can be said for her too but coat not quite as good & needs to settle on the move a bit & angulation may be not quite be the same but having said that she may well change with maturity.

3 Worrall's. Mollora Hazy Days at Bluesmurf. Little taller than others but a very nice bitch just lost out on movement today.

NB (2)

1 Baldwin's. Woolytop Snow Star. When standing she looked very promising kept her shape in good dark coat with good furnishings, lovely head & expression bite ok lovely neck & shoulders just lacked a bit of sparkle on the move.

2 Kinns. Burmington Truly Blue. Very workman like bitch in lovely dark coat all over lacking in height but well muscled with good feet moved very well.

PGB (6)

1 Colliers. Pocoblu Concerto. Liked this bitch a lot she looks very promising would just like a bit more length to height but she had good angulation depth of rib lovely long neck good shoulders with plenty of bone in good hard coat & moved well for her handler.

2 Baldwins. Woolytop Snow Star.

3 Lacey's. Bowlingbrook My Blue Heaven. Nice bitch in good coat moved well preferred the length & structure of the other 2.

LB (6)

1 Bannister's. Miteymidgets Matilda. In good hard condition with plenty of muscle moved with drive but with out losing her femininity she kept her shape & balance & is a good size, lovely coat colour & texture put down well. Lovely head with good bite & dark eye a contender for top honours.

2 Colliers. Miteymidgets Cruiser at Pocoblu. Very similar to 1st may be just didn't move as well as 1 today but similar comments can apply good head & expression lovely dark coat on another day these placings could change.

3 Phillips. Cassdenal Serenditpity. Nice bitch but would have preferred a little bit more of her but moved well.

OB (9)

1 Graham's Ruffsfurze Mavrodaphne. The best headed Bbitch here today long & lean with very feminine expression, dark eye & good pigmentation with large nostrils with correct bite, fine ears of good size & set well, long neck in to good shoulders very good depth of rib liked her overall length to height. Stood on best of feet with good angulation with correct tail carriage, moved with drive. BCC

2 Yearley's Ch Gnejnabay Genegenie Gal at Lowbrook JW ShCM. Very close decision just preferred the overall structure of one, in good liver coat moved true coming & going you can not take anything away from this bitch for what she has done for the breed a fine example.

3 Bannister's Miteymidgets Myaquila. Another very good bitch I could have place any one of these 3 bitches first & would have been happy with my decision all fine examples of the breed.

Breeders. Bannister.
