BEDLINGTON JUDGE NATIONAL TERRIER 24

Thank you to the club for inviting me to judge. I felt truly honoured to be judging the breed. Thanks to my stewards and everyone entered under me.

SB D/B (5)

1) Chester's, Squidylannes Dreamer. Well presented bitch with good length to height and good bone. Needs time to strengthen and develop but she is very young. Clean feet and sloping pasterns, settled nicely on the move. BSB

2) Jackson's, Terrablue Spirit. Raw puppy bitch with a pretty expression, dark blue coat and good feet. Played her handler up on the move but lovely to see her enjoying her day.

V D/B (5)

1) Bannister's, Ch Miteymidgets Going Global JW Sh.cm Vw. Feminine bitch with pleasing head and expression, good muscle and second thigh. Well presented and a positive mover. BV

2) Offer's, Ch Woolytop The Wherryman Sh.cm Shcex. Wedge shaped head and good ear set, has good teeth, good bone and thick jacket. Just preferred the movement of 1.

PD (1)

1) McNally's, Conekesheved Out Of The Blue. Wedge shape head with dark eyes, has good depth of chest for age and a nice outline. Loose in front that puppies have at this stage but promising. BP

JD (4)

1) Hewitt – Taylor's, Tobanie You Rock My World. Good head and eye and nice thin ears, good length with a gentle topline, nice rear angulation and carries tail correctly. Needs to mature but promising.

2) McNally's, Conekesheved Out Of The Blue.

PGD (4)

1) Lacey's, Bowlingbrook Hummingbird. Larger dog of good colour, long head and shoulders ok, strong topline and good tail set. Moved out well but dropped his head down which affected his movement.

2) Lowe's, Bisbee Bulldozer With Tessarion. Correct dark eyes with a keen expression, good thick coat. Quite short and straighter in stifle than 1.

LD (3)

1) Hanes's, Janmark Man In The Middle Jw. Maturing dog with plenty of bone but not heavy at all. Correct shoulders and deep through body, nice to go over. Good coat with furnishings and sympathetically trimmed. Moved well behind and in profile. RDCC

2) Bannister's, Miteymidgets Modern Love Jw. Nice sized dog with correct shoulder placement, I liked his height to length ratio. Good rear angulation and hocks low, just not concentrating fully on the move.

OD (4) 1 absent

1) Bannister's, Miteymidgets New Vision Jw. Clean head with good eye shape and colour, excellent teeth and jaw. Good width in front and depth of brisket. Racy outline and a sound mover. DCC, BOB

2) Boyd's Ir Ch Agnellino Voodoo Child. Larger dog with strong head and deep in chest, good colour and hocks very low, moved a little close behind.

MPB (0)

PB (2)

1) Scott's, Mickleview Silent Storm . Good sized bitch with even blue colour, shoulders in place and good depth of brisket. Nice pup that needs to finish, moved steadily.

2) Jackson's,Terrablue Spirit.

JB (5)

1) Chester's, Squidylannes Dreamer.

2) Hewitt – Taylor's, Tobanie Forever came Today. Fine head with correct dark eyes, good mouth and fine ears, new coat coming through and good feet. Needs time to settle and mature.

PGB (3)

1) Hanes', Janmark The Name Of The Game. Feminine bitch with good colour, good feet and correct tail carriage. Concentrating nicely with her handler on the move.

2) Ross', Mactufts Kindred Spirit. Fine narrow head and good angulations, Shoulders ok and low tail, correct coat and texture, well presented and handled.

LB (4)

1) Morrice's, Mollora Pimento. Striking liver with beautiful coat and colour. Long narrow head with good teeth, sloping pasterns and good tight feet. Lovely flowing outline which she held on the move, perfect presentation. RBCC

2) Scott's, Janmark Je Ne Sais Pas Avec Mickelview Jw. Another quality bitch with good coat and colour. Very good front, flat ribs and mature to go over. Just lost out on front movement today.

OB (9) 1 absent

1) Phillips', Rathsrigg Willow. Dark blue with a long head, good fill and foreface, very dark eyes and fine ears. Good width in front with correctly placed shoulders. Has bone and I liked her tight muscle. Typical gait and showed some drive. BCC

2) Lacey's, Bowlingbrook MakingWhoopi. Another honest bitch and similar type, deep head and very dark coat, good tuck up and a firm topline. She is a tad finer than 1 but she did nothing wrong, presented nicely.
