I would like to thank the committee of the National for inviting me to judge at their Championship Show & the exhibitors for giving me such a super entry. Sorry I had to leave some very nice dogs out of my placing’s.
I found no problem with feet majority of exhibits had good hare feet & only just one mouth problem. The future is looking bright with so many youngsters coming through of correct shape & size.
PD, (2, 1ab)
1st. Cumming, Rocabec Riding Shotgun
Well matured for 7 months correct type with depth of rib, nice dark eye lovely thin ears with good lean head and correct bite, well off for bone, nice lay back of shoulders which helped with his true movement coming and going keeping his shape on the move. This is one for the future pleased to give him his 1st CC.
JD, (4, 2ab)
1st. Baldwins, Woolytop The Piper’s Son
Nice to see a sandy in the ring of correct size all in proportion just a bit proud of his tail at the moment, very sound movement & nice to go over with good depth & arch correctly position over the loin, well deserved Res CC
2nd. Baldwins, Woolytop Stand And Deliver
A smaller version of his litter mate & a bit apprehensive on the move but all in proportion. Most of my comments on 1st apply to this exhibit also just would like a bit more of him.
