BEDLINGTON JUDGE MIDLAND COUNTIES 11

Bedlington Terriers

Presentation is getting better. Clean mouths & teeth are much improved, as are smooth pads. Tail carriage showed a marked improvement. Adversely, there were a few overlong nails together with poor movement & level toplines & soft, pale & lifeless coats.

PD (2)

1 Garbutts’ Highdene Hitman at Aireview, promising youngster. Handsome wedgy head. Sparkling dark eyes. Good earset. Very clean mouth & correct bite. Reachy neck, flat shoulders, depth in brisket. Correct topline with arched loin & firm tuck up. Good horseshoe front & forehand with good slope of pasterns. Hindquarters nicely muscled with good turn of stifles & hock well let down, giving drive on the move if somewhat erratic at times. Correct tail carriage. Coat should improve over time. Very well presented. BP;

2. Richardson’s Highdene Howzthat, litter brother of 1, not his presence. Good head & furnishings, dark eyes, good bite. Adequate reach of neck, flat shoulders, depth in brisket. Topline not as positive as his sibling. Good forehand & hindquarters but needs to tighten up all round to help develop better movement. Good legs & feet. Coat rather soft. Needs more ring training.
