The Midland Bedlington Terrier Club 60th Anniversary Championship Show 2024
Judge Peter Kiernan
It was a privilege to judge one of the clubs 2, 60th anniversary championship shows today! I too share a 60th anniversary this year so feel it was meant to be. I would like to thank the committee for running a very well organised show and for their generous hospitality. I would also like to thank my very efficient ring stewards in Kay Partner and Dianne Rourke-Knights
I had a nice entry of dogs to go over and it was lovely for me to see lots of new faces in the breed which can only be a good thing. I feel that there definitely needs to be an improvement in handling and ring craft as there were a few dogs today that stood well and were good to go over but almost impossible to judge their movement.
My principal winners stood out on many counts, quality, presentation and the ability to get the best out of their charges.
