BEDLINGTON LKA 11 Judge: Mr C A Saevich
BEDLINGTON JUDGE LKA 11 Bedlington Terriers MPD (4) 1 Murby & Heraty’s Tasseltabs Timber, 6 months, well balanced, excellent length of head, correct bite, good reach of neck, excellent topline & hindquarters, well set tail, excellent colour, excellent temperament; 2 Morris’ Honeymist Mellow Tone in Bluemazzu, 6 months blue, very similar in type, excellent topline & ribs, excellent temperament. Winner scored on head shape; 3 Pauley’s Valurblue Sunny Side Up. JD (3) 1 Garbutt’s Highdene Hitman at Aireview, blue of excellent type, size & balance. Excellent head with strong under jaw, excellent front, feet & depth of body, good ribs, excellent topline & tail carriage. Excellent coat texture; 2 Bouse’s Tredomen Big Floyd, liked this blue, excellent type, correct size, excellent head, eyes & ears. Excellent body, topline & tail. Little between these two, 1 looked more finished. PGD (1) 1 Hamilton’s Monlazuli Life Of Riley, alone but worthy winner. Well balanced blue, excellent head, correct bite, dark eyes. Good ribs, good coat. Tend to lose topline on the move, excellent temperament. LD (10) 1 Ames’ Sharnor Faithful Falcon, excellent type, good size, correct balance, good head, excellent leathers, dark eyes, well laid shoulders. Excellent depth of body & ribs, keeps topline on the move, well set tail, excellent coat texture & colour. Moves well, excellent temperament; 2 Brooks’ Doehey Heartstrings, blue of excellent type & size. Well balanced, excellent head, correct bite, excellent body, correct front, flat ribs, good hindquarters; 3 Tredgett’s Sevray Rebus. OD (4) 1 Walters & Mitchell’s Ch Rathsrigg Millrace, the last time I judged, he got the RCC from junior & now has fulfilled his promise becoming a ch. Excels in type with the correct proportions between length & height of body, long lean head, dark eyes, fine leathers, excellent reach of neck. Keeps topline on the move, excellent hindquarters, excellent colour & texture of coat. Excellent temperament. CC; 2 Walshaw’s Ch Janmark Blue Encounter, close between these two, so similar in type & shape. Moves well & keeps topline but lacked a bit of spark. RCC; 3 Owen’s Ch Bisbee Beachcomber. VD (1) 1 Caines’ Burmington And Me Too, well balanced liver, excellent head & eyes. Excellent front, feet & depth of body. Excellent coat & temperament. GCD (1) 1 B And Me Too. MPB (4) 1 Williams’ Ystwythbay Rhapsody In Blue, blue baby with a lot to like about her. Excellent head & eyes, fine leathers, good reach of neck. Excellent topline & hindquarters, excellent temperament, good mover. BP; 2 Walters & Mitchell’s Tunman Topsy Turvy, blue girl of excellent type & size. Excellent head, legs & feet. Excellent topline & hindquarters. Preferred shoulder placement of 1; 3 Godden’s Vakurblue Bacon Buttie. JB (5) 1 Lacey’s Bowlingbrook Trick Or Treat, excellent type, size & balance. Excellent head, dark eyes, good depth of body, good front & feet. Excellent topline, flat ribs, well set tail. Excellent coat, excellent temperament. Sound mover; 2 Hamilton’s Monlazuli Truly Magic, youngster of excellent type, good size, well balanced body. 1 scored on head & topline. PGB (9) 1 McNally’s Aireview Cristal Blue, blue, so typical & well made, Excellent size & head, correct bite, excellent legs & feet. Excellent topline, depth of body & ribs, excellent coat texture. Stood out in this class & considered for top honours; 2 Eaves’ Catchfraze Saucy Nancy, liked her a lot, excellent type & size. Excellent head, good front, topline, ribs, depth of body & hindquarters. Well set tail. Better handling & trimming will do wonders for her; 3 Gooden’s Seaofiron Where Angels Play. LB (7) 1 Walshaw’s Janmark Justin Time, quality female of excellent type, well balanced, good size, excellent head, correct bite, excellent front, legs & feet. Excellent topline & depth of body, excellent ribs & coat. Moves soundly. RCC; 2 Thompson’s Jetsway Absolut Bling, well made blue that has all the essentials to be a contender for higher prizes. Excellent size & head with correct bite. Everything is right but trimming & presentation let her down; 3 Horrock’s Doehey Queen Of Hearts. OB (8) 1 Phillips’ Cassdenal Serendipity, wow, what a cracker! Last time I judged she had the RCC as she wasn’t showing at her best but it was her time to take top place in the breed. She oozes breed, in my opinion has the ideal size for a bitch, long lean head, correct bite, dark eyes, excellent front & depth of chest. Keeps topline on the move, best of hindquarters, flat ribs, excellent colour & texture of coat. Excellent temperament. I was sorry to hear that her owner couldn’t stay for the Group as her husband was poorly. CC & BOB; 2 Walshaw’s Janmark Misty Horizons, this kennel is producing quality stock & this one is a good example. Excellent type, so well balanced, excellent head, dark eyes, good reach of neck. Excellent legs & feet, good depth of body, flat ribs, excellent topline, sound mover. Excellent coat & temperament; 3 Owen’s Bisbee Belle Inni. VB (1) 1 Bannister’s Miteymidgets Myaquila, 9 years blue of excellent type, correct proportions between height & length of body. Excellent head, front & topline. Showed in excellent condition. BV. GCB (2) 1 Caines’ Gnejnabay Just Asha at Burmington, excellent size & balance, excellent head, correct bite. Good legs & feet, excellent depth of body, good ribs. Moves & shows well; 2 Kinns’ Burmington Truly Blue, excellent type, good size, very good head & eyes. Good legs & feet, excellent coat texture. Topline could be better. CARLOS SAEVICH |
