East Of England 23 Judge

BEDLINGTON EAST OF ENGLAND 23 Judge: Mrs G Griffiths Many thanks to the East of England team for the invitation to judge their last Championship show, a lovely entry for a midweek show and no tickets. I found no bad feet or mouths, ears were all correct. 1 Hanes Janmark Man in the Middle, 7 months blue, with good strength and depth to his head. Good mouth with lovely big teeth, dark eye, correct almond front with good angulated shoulders, chest developing well for his age, nice rise over loin, well muscled at the rear which allowed him very good movement. Coat coming along nicely, showing a lot of good colour. Pleased to award him Best puppy and res best dog. 1 Goddens Ozbreeze Surprise Of The Day At Vakurblue, almost 3 yrs, has come on since I last judged him. Very well presented, coat in lovely condition and pigment and eye to match his colour. Again, a lovely headpiece with strength and depth, a little tight on the front, but carries a good outline on the move. Good rise, plenty of muscletone, good rear angulation, carries his tail correctly, did enough to award him Best dog. 1 Butlers Ch Yarbach Federers Finale VW. A other one I’ve judged before. Still retains a good strong head, sadly lots of staining around his eyes. Teeth need attention too. Good front and rear angulation. Has great muscletone for his 9 years, moving well around the ring, but a lot of staining also to his rear and undercarriage spoilt his overall picture. 1 Hanes Janmark Man In The Middle. Was very happy to give this young handler this award. She handles so well and with confidence, did everything asked of her, so attentive to her puppy, moved and showed him very well indeed, she’s in good hands to do very well in the breed. I was so very proud to watch her do a lap of honour in the beginners final, (as her Grandad was judging the competition), well done young lady, one to watch! 1 Scotts’ Janmark Je Ne Sais Pas Avec Mickleview. 18 months b, presenting a beautiful outline standing and on the move. A most feminine head but with strength and depth, dark eye, good mouth, ample neck into a lovely front having the correct almond shape required. Nice depth to chest, correct rise, well developed rear, which all reflected in her lovely movement, coat was well presented and a lovely texture with guard hair present, a picture of balance and soundness, one I like a lot, think she has a lot to offer this breed. Best bitch and Best of breed, delighted to see her make the shortlist in a very nice group. 1 Baldwins Woolytop Leading Lady. A very feminine 3 yrs liver b, Very feminine throughout, pretty head with enough strength, good mouth and eye to colour. Good neck into a grand front assembly, nice depth of chest and well ribbed, best topline of this class, well angulated rear giving desired movement, in lovely condition with a well presented jacket, just found her slightly longer cast than the winner. Still, a very nice bitch, Res Best bitch. 2 Pocklingtons’ Timberose Rhapsody In Blue ShCM/ShCEx, Blue b of almost 7 yrs, in lovely condition pretty head, clean big teeth in a good mouth, dark eye, nicely constructed fore and rear, not the topline of the winner, good well presented coat, moved and showed well. 3 Porter Manning and Porter Woolytop Secret Wispa Among Walleroo. 1 Hanes’ Ch Janmark JKay JW ShCM VW, at 9 years this blue still carries a lovely outline, in very good condition with a lovely jacket, feminine head with dark eye, grand mouth with sparkling clean teeth, moves well and showed well for her young handler. Best Veteran. |
