I was very pleased with the entry, in quality and number. I found no cracked pads, dentition was good, though in some teeth were small, on the plus side muscle tone was improved since my last appointment. Variation in type made some classes more challenging to judge, however it was good to see some nice puppies coming through. Finally I would like to thank my two able and cheerful stewards Pauline and Kim. VD. (1) 1st Hewitt-Taylor Miss T. Mollie Red Kite for Tobanie. Nicely sized liver dog, coat of good colour and texture. Good depth of chest with deep flat sides, nice length of neck leading to correct shoulders. Low hocks and well muscled rear quarters. Moved and handled well although lost his top line slightly. PD. (3) 1st Hanes Miss Myla Mae. Janmark Man in the Middle. 10 month old blue dog, up to size but nicely proportioned. Dense linty coat with good furnishings. Well off for bone and substance without being coarse. Excellent head with good foreface, strong jaws and large teeth. Deep flat sides and correct top line kept on the move. Played his young handler up in the puppy class but got his act together in the challenge to win BPD, BP, RCC. 2nd Hewitt- Taylor Miss T. Tobanie You Rock My World. 7 month nice sized liver dog. Good head with small hazel eye, thin ears and flat cheeks. Needs to drop in the chest, making him look rather tall but has time on his side. Patiently handled and moved well for one so young. 3rd Nunn Mr Martin & Nunn Mrs Heather. Mactufts Brave Mans Game. JD (2-1) 1st Lacey Miss J W. Bowlingbrook Hummingbird. Blue dog built on lighter, racier lines. Good coat colour and texture. Small dark eye and thin ears, head ok but would prefer more foreface. Moderate angulation and correct hare feet. Moved ok. PGD (0) LD (1) 1st Ross Mr S. Major Tufts at Mactufts. Correct sized blue with good bone and in hard condition. Deep brisket, flat but with plenty of heartroom. Nice length of back and loin with good tail set, just a little upright in the shoulder. Good head but again could have a little more length of jaw. Moved quite well. OD (5) 1st Mrs Offer A C.
