BEDLINGTON JUDGE CRUFTS 24

It was a pleasure as always to be invited to judge at Crufts and I was delighted with both the size and quality of my entry. Presentation of the majority of exhibits was of a very standard indeed and unlike some other terrier breeds in my opinion the standard was very high; so much so that very fine representatives of the breed had to settle for lower places by the finest of margins. I would like to thank exhibitors and enthusiastic onlookers for their sportsmanship on the day.

VD (5,1)

1 Hewitt-Taylor. Mollora Red Kite for Tobaine. Typy head. Correct bite. Good lay of shoulder. Sound, typical movement.

2 Martin Impey. Kinnuva Dark Sleekster. Good head shape. Correct size. Moved steadily. Not the topline of the winner.

3 Ross & Creggan. Major Tufts at Mactufts.

PD (4,1)

1 Conekesheved Out of The Blue (Mcnally). Very promising youngster. Good for size. Correct rise and angulations. Has all the credentials to go to the top. Just needs time and table training. BP.

2 Silverkinn Spy Aston Martin (Martin Impey). Promising puppy. Lovely head and ears. Correct lay of shoulder. Good bone, legs and feet.

3. Silverkinn Skyfall of Topaz (Pedersen)

1 Tobanie You Rock My World Hewitt-Taylor. Liked his make and shape. Typy head and ears. Good front & feet. Sound, typical movement.

2. Devleigh Blue Thunder (Dobson). Another pleasing in make and shape but did not put all in today. 3. Bisbee Bulldozer with Tessarion (Lowe)

PGD (6,1)

1 Bowlingbrook Hummingbird (Lacey). Good head and eye. Ample neck. Good depth and rise over loin. Correct front and rear. Moved freely.

2. Travellerways Godwin at Dunkeswell (Long). Nice head shape. Correct bite. Strong loin but not quite the topline of 1.

3. Sarmarblue Night Shadow (Annable)

LD (6)

1 Durhamites Unzip Alastair (Stannard) A quality dog. Lovely outline. Good angulations. Moved well.

2 Jobanker Rocky Road (Poultney) Very good head and ears. Correct topline and depth. Moved steadily.

3. Honeymist Firecracker (Martin)

OD (12,1)

Very strong class

1 Isotop’s Zoom Zoom (Byberg) Quality dog with a beautiful head. Correct ears. Lovely neck and shoulders. Good topline both standing and on the move. CC.Pushed hard for the breed.

2. Esp Ch Fralex Culibre Matveson (Hurley). Another classy dog. Loved his make and shape. In good muscle tone. A pleasure to see him move. RCC.

3. Ch Rocabec Riding Shotgun (Cumming)

Good Citizen Dog (3)

1 Kinnuva Summer Pearl (Kinns). Typy head and ears. Ample neck. Good angulations. Moved freely.

2. Jobanker Iron Icon (Pollard & Barrowcliffe) Good for size. A little flat in topline. Moved steadily.

3. Squidlyannes Pirate King (Jones)

VB (7,1)

1 Seuch Isotop’s Kotte (Eriksson). Lovely head with excellent ears. Good make and shape. Sound, typical movement. In superb coat and condition. BV

2 Miteymidgets Nations Unite at Jukenblu ShCM VW (Tonner & Oxbury). Smaller type. Good lay of shoulder. Would prefer slightly better topline. Moved out well.

3. Miteymidgets Say Mama (Mitchell)

PB (5,1)

1 Janmark The Name of The Game (Hanes). Good head and ears. Pleasing outline. Good front and feet. Moved and handled so well.

2. Mickleview Silent Storm (Scott). Caught my eye as soon as she entered the ring. Lovely make and shape. Superb condition. When she settles in front she should do very well.

3. Squidlyannes Dreamer (Chester)

JB (5,3)

1 Daldorn Candy Kisses (Mackie). Liked her make and shape. Good lay of shoulder. Correct front and feet. Good rise. Moved steadily.

2. Tobanie Forever Came Today (Hewitt-Taylor) Good forehand. Correct bone, legs and feet. Would prefer more rise over loin both standing and on the move.

PGB (14,3)

1 Rose Jasmine Diamond Lamb (Imp Pol) (Glaister). Very good bitch with a lovely outline. Good front and feet. Correct angulations. Excellent bite

. 2. Ratzwell Jolly Jubilee JW (Harris & Cleaver). Pleasing make and shape. Good rise over loin. Good depth. Liked her size.

3. Silverkinn Wittelsbach Gem (Martin Impey)

LB (13,2)

Excellent class

1 Mactufts Nanny Mcphee (Ross & Creggan). Very feminine bitch. Lovely outline. Correct front and rear. Excellent rise over loin. Good head and ears. Excellent bite. Should make up.

2 Red Hot Chilli of Lovely Star Generation at Silverkinn (Imp Fra) (Martin Impey). Another stylish bitch with a lovely shape. Excellent head and ears. In excellent muscle tone. A pleasure to see her move.

3. Mollora Pimento (Morrice)

1 Ch Conekesheved Too Shy JW (Mcnally). A real class act that I have had the pleasure of judging before. She meets the standard so well. A real show girl with a fabulous temperament. CC & BOB

2 Ir Ch Fioralainn Caoimhe with Sharnor (Martin Ames & Mccusker) Another top quality bitch with a fabulous head, eye and ears. Excellent make and shape. A very worthy champion. Just unlucky to meet 1. RCC

3. Toolbox Peace Keeper (Eriksson)

Good citizen bitch (4)

1 Ch Miteymidgets Little Hottie at Squidlyannes (Jones). Pleasing head. Good angulations. Sound, typical movement.

2. Kinnuva Hawaiian Velvet (Kinns) Typy bitch. Just needs to settle a little on the move.

3. Miteymidgets New Direction (Chester)
