BEDLINGTON BOSTON 13 Judge(s): MISS SHELLEY WORRALL Bedlington Terriers Although a small entry, there were some quality examples of the breed, & I was more than happy with my main winners. PD (0). JD (1) 1 Brady & Carter’s Tcheria Shenanigans, masculine dog of good size, in good coat, strong head with correct bite, nice dark eye, good length of neck leading into well placed shoulders, nice depth of chest, moved well. Just needs to finish maturing & should do well, I will watch his future with interest. BOB. PGD (2) 1 Morris’ Honeymist Mellow Tone in Bluemazzu, up to size dog, nice length of head, correct bite, dark eye, nice thin ears. Not in the best of coats. Moved well, keeping topline on the move; 2 Smith’s Vakurblue Eggie Bread, smaller than 1, nice dark eye & thin ears with correct bite, good length of neck, nice flat ribs & correct hare feet. Would prefer more of him. Movement a little hard to assess as needs to settle on the move. OD (1) 1 Hamilton’s Harrisclub Mister Moonray, good size masculine dog, coat of good colour, strong head with good teeth, nice depth of chest with flat ribs, good rear angulation, moved well. RBD. PB (2) 1 Kinns’ Burmington Reet Petite, nice thin ears, good teeth with correct bite, coat of good colour & texture, good hare feet. Rear movement a little closer than I would have liked. BP; 2 Gillies’ Rhicullen Highland Lassie, smaller than 1, very feminine bitch, good eye & correct bite, nice lay of shoulders, flat ribs. Not the coat of 1 but as she is still young this may improve. A little timid on the move at first but went OK when settled. JB (0). PGB (2) 1 Godden’s Vakurblue Bacon Buttie, good sized bitch, nice thin ears, correct bite, good dark eye, well placed shoulders, good topline when stacked. Moved well once settled; 2 Kinns’ Burmington Truly Blue, good dark eye, nice shaped ears, nice front angulation & depth of chest. Some cracking on the pads which may be due to recent weather, but is something to look out for. Lovely dark back coat, yet topknot & furnishings not as light as I would have liked. Moved OK. OB (5) 1 Rainsbury’s Sevray Repique, lovely feminine bitch of correct size, sweetest of expressions, good head with dark eye, thin ears, good teeth with correct bite, well placed shoulders leading to flat, deep ribs, good topline held on the move, moved around the ring with grace. Not the darkest of coats but good texture. BB; 2 Butler’s Yarbach Gorgeous Gabby, another bitch of good size, nice head with correct bite, lovely thin ears, well placed shoulders with good front angulation, nice topline held on the move. Moved well, just preferred overall picture & ring presence of 1. RBB. SHELLEY WORRALL |
