BEDLINGTON BATH 17 Judge: Mrs C A Harris BEST OF BREED : 1119 KIERNAN Mr P Ch Sharnor High I'm Viktor At Kierlander BEDLINGTON JUDGE BATH 17 Bedlington Terriers My thanks to Bath Canine Society for inviting me to judge my breed at this lovely show, & to my steward for all his help. Also to the exhibitors for letting me assess their wonderful dogs. PD (2 ) I’m sure both these boys will swap places many times in the future, lots to like with both these promising pups. 1 McCourt’s Bisbee Super Trooper, lovely head with good depth of skull, flat cheeks, dark triangular eye full of mischief, thick white top knot, lovely length neck, well boned with good front & rear angulation, deep chest, nice size with good length of body, great coat texture & colour, well muscled, good tailset, moved with drive. BP & PG3; 2 Hewitt Taylor’s Mollora Red Kite for Tobanie, bigger type than 1, lovely head with strong jaw, good size well set ears, light eye, good length of neck into well set shoulders, deep chest, good texture & colour coat, well muscled. Moved well, maturing well but please don’t grow much more. JD, PGD & LD (0). OD (1) 1 Kiernan’s Ch Sharnor High I’m Viktor at Kierlander, fantastic showman, lovely head, narrow deep skull, dark small triangular eyes, fine ears, good length of neck, great front & rear angulation, held topline standing & on the move. Moved with purpose & drive. If I was being very, very picky I would like a tad more length of body & a little less coat! Well deserved BD & BOB. PB (1) 1 Pocklington’s Timberose Rhapdody In Blue, pretty 9 months girl, nice head with fine ears, flat cheeks, small dark triangular eye, low set ears, good horseshoe front, well boned, good length of body, a little flat in topline on the move, hopefully that will come with age, good tailset. Promising pup. JB (1) 1 Bishop’s Plumeria’s Sea Breeze, pretty feminine bitch, nice head, good length of foreface, dark triangular eye, low set ears, good length of neck into well set shoulders, good front angulation, deep chest, good topline, held on the move, well set tail. Good light & springy movement, coat just beginning to come through. Just needs time to mature. RBB. LB (2) 1 Bishop’s Fralex Culibre Bolyn, very feminine, a little short in foreface, fine ears, good teeth, dense whit topknot, good length of neck, well angulated front & rear, good topline, moved well, nice bitch, just would have liked to see a bit more of her; 2 Pocklington’s Nebercrackers Rosie Blue at Timberose, nice bitch, good size, strong foreface, nice dark eye, good front with deep chest, good length of body, a little close behind on movement, lost out to 1 on movement. OB (0). V (3,1a) 1 Yearley’s Ch Gnejnabay Genegenie Gal at Lowbrook, beautiful girl, stunning head, great length of body to height, could teach the youngsters a thing or two, still looking in fine form for a nearly 9 years. Lovely light movement. BB & BV; 2 Hewitt Taylor’s Mollora Eastern Dawn for Tobanie, lovely feminine bitch, shorter in foreface then 1, well set ears, lovely length of neck.
