PD (1)

1 BP, Jones’ Wyeafon Torchwood, exciting red youngster with a lovely head, neat ears, strong jaws & lively expression, good neck & shoulders, still needs to tighten in pastern but has plenty of time on his side, small neat feet, well bodied with excellent topline, tailset & carriage, shown in good coat & gleaming condition.

1 BOB, McCourt & Eardley’s Silhill Tufty with Sherex, well balanced skull with good ears, smallish eye & strong jaws, good length of neck & clean, well laid shoulders, well bodied with good ribs & strong, well muscled loin, strong hindquarters gave him a powerful, true action, a keen alert showman whose clear red coat was presented to full advantage;

2 RBD, Lapthorne & Thompson’s Jenina Jasper James, another with a most pleasing head & good expression, lovely neck & shoulders but not quite the forehand of 1. Well bodied with good topline & tailset, good coat texture & moved soundly;

3 Gibbons & Saunders’ Jenina Jessie James.

PB (2)

1 Jones’ Wyeafon Fly By Night, good headed youngster with decent length of neck, well laid shoulders, well boned with neat feet, well ribbed body with excellent topline & good tailset, lovely rounded, well angulated, muscular hindquarters enabled her to move with some strength & this gave here the edge here, very promising;

2 Gibbons’ Little Mo, not quite as confident on the table as 1. Flat skull with neat ears & dark, small eye. A shade finer all through than 1. Well bodied & moved soundly enough, well presented coat of good texture.

1 BB, McCourt’s Silhill Scruples, a shade unsettled on the table but really came together on the ground to show off her good neck & shoulders, excellent topline & high set tail, well boned & this gave her the edge here, well bodied with good spring of rib & strong loin, good coat texture with ruff & apron, moves well with typical action;
