WESTIE WELKS 09 Judge(s) MR MAURICE MARSHALL DCC CH KARAMYND PLAY THE GAME JW ( MRS J A GRIFFITHS) West Highland White Terriers MPD (3,1a) 1 Skelton’s Faymar Free Agent, very tidy puppy, great outlook, lovely coat & colour, good rib, tail carried well, moved correctly; 2 Zdyrko’s Westigo Brave Spirit, touch immature. Good head, tailset & movement. Would like a shade shorter. Good coat. Needs more time. PD (7,3) 1 Dale’s Lynnsto Barclaycard, a little small. Nice outlook, great head, good neck & shoulders, moved very well. BP; 2 Griffiths’ Karamynd Play It Again, promising dog, good neck, correct topline. A little loose in front; 3 Thomson’s Ashgate McKenzie. JD (6,1) 1 Minett’s Duskhunter Dutch Courage, great head, good front, short back, strong quarters, showed very well, pleasant mover; 2 Squire’s Dashing Devil’s Shotgun, very attractive, great neck & forehand, good front, short coupled, moved very well; 3 Squire’s Kimgarwyn Outlaw. PGD (11,1) 1 Davison’s Antonia Apple Pie at Braxquin, touch up to size but very attractive. Good head & ears, lovely front, tail on top, moved very well; 2 Dale’s Lynnsto Stand And Deliver, very compact, good topline, short coupled, moved very well; 3 Gaydon’s Gilbri Williwontie. LD (6,2) 1 Thomson’s Ashgate US Patriot, small dog, in good form, nice head, good outlook, nice neck & front, moved & showed very well. RCC; 2 Smith’s Royalcartier Entertainer, in good form, lovely head & ears, nice neck, good front, tail well placed, moved & showed very well; 3 McLoughlin’s Ley Hey Living Legend. OD (7,2) 1 Griffiths’ Ch Karamynd Play The Game, very fine dog in grand & outstanding form, very good neck, short coupled, tail on top, superb form & an excellent shower, strong quarters, moved superbly, one to behold. To be critical I would like a touch smaller. Exceedingly well handled by a very competent handler. CC, BOB & G3; 2 Squire’s The Dashing Devil’s Spirit Of Mine, lovely dog in good form, nice head & outlook, very short, good rib, tail well carried, good quarters, moved very soundly; 3 Dunne & Crockett’s Ch Havasu Pai. MPB (7,2) 1 Squire’s Kimgarwyn Bramble, a real trier, short back, good topline, showed & moved very well; 2 Ash’s Hillcloud Cirrus Sky, a touch light all through, needs time to body up & mature. Moved very well; 3 Stock’s Lindenka Apple Charlotte. PB (7,3) 1 Lilley & Milling’s Lilmill Potty Dotty, very short coupled, good head, perfect front, tail well set, in good coat & condition, moved very well; 2 Owen’s Bournehaven Specialty, a touch longer. Good coat & colour, good strong quarters, moved very soundly, nice shower; 3 Harper’s Westigo In On The Act. JB (2) 1 Gaydon’s Bellevue Town Flirt at Gilbri, very sweet bitch, lovely ears & expression, grand coat, short back, tail on top, moved very soundly; 2 Lilley & Milling’s Lilmill Giv Me Your Answer Do, very short & compact, lovely coat, tail well placed & carried well, moved very well, time should tell. PGB (12,4) 1 Dale’s Lynnsto Ultraviolet, one I liked very much & in great form, lovely coat & condition, great outlook, short coupled, well placed tail, moved very well. RCC; 2 Carlin & Gillott’s Bocharo Miss Tique at Lizandycris, short backed, in good coat & condition, moved very well; 3 Davison’s Benstedmanna Miellefieule at Braxquin. LB (9,2) 1 Steemson’s Bocans Hot Stuff, very short, complacent, lovely outlook, showing very well, lovely topline, strong quarters under well placed tail, very correct movement; 2 Griffiths’ Karamynd Make A Splash, one to be admired with short coupled topline, good head & ears, grand rib, moved OK: 3 Squire’s Krisma Joyrider. OB (10,2) 1 Morton’s Charosmack Crystal Secret at Swifdon, super bitch in great form, lovely outlook & ear carriage, nice neck, well place shoulders, good legs & feet, nice rib, tail very well placed, strong quarters, moved to perfection.
