WEST HIGHLAND WHITE TERRIER CLUB
I had a lovely time judging here and was extremely happy with the entry I received. Thanks to all the exhibitors for taking all my decisions so sportingly. My thanks also to the committee for being so welcoming and for our lovely lunch, and my beautiful gift.

MINOR PUPPY DOG.
1ST McLoughlins Leyhey Local Laddie. A promising pup with alot to like about him. Lovely head, neat ears, strong muzzle and good bite. Moved and showed well but just needs to settle in front. Coat needs time but is sure to improve.
PUPPY DOG
1ST Purchons Lindenka I’m Dexter. Two nice pups here but very different types. 1st very typical pup with good head, excellent shoulders, short back and powerfull rear quaters. In great coat and condition, showed well with excellent movement. Just needs to grow on a little to improve his overall balance. BPD.
2ND. Bells Pentangle High Fire. Eyecatching young chap shown in wonderful coat and condition. Has all the essentials but just needs to settle on the move as he was far from happy here. A shame.
JUNIOR DOG
1ST. Molonys Killynether Kingdom. Another shown in good condition, ok in head, neat ears, excellent coat length, tail set could be better. Showed ok but a bit erratic.
GRADUATE DOG
1STWindrams Louie Conquistador.Nice head and eye, good neck, compact body, showed ok. He would benefit from a little more work on his coat and presentation.
2nd. Kinnaird Pepperknowe Och Aye The Noo. Larger than the winner, quite plain in head and lacking strength. Good neck and shoulders, good topline and tailset, showed ok. Would like a better temperament.
POST GRADUATE DOG
1st Purchons Lindenka Chesterman. My star boy today. A real surprise how much this chap appealed to me on the table. He has a wonderful head, strong muzzle, excellent bite, piercing expression with neat ears. Strong neck flowing into terrific shoulders, short backed with perfect tailset. Strong rear which he really used on the move. Shown in excellent coat and condition and could not be denied the CC today.
2nd Fishers Bobo Whiskey. Compact dog, nice head, rather large eye, ok ears and mouth. Coat could be harder but snow white. Showed ok.
LIMIT DOG
1ST Purchons Lindenka Donavan. Although older than his kennel mate for me he is not so mature. Has all the essentials required but just needs more time. Showed very well with excellent movement.
2nd Windrams Leonardo Ventura. For me this chap is better than his brother in most departments but he just doesn’t seem to be in love with the show ring.
OPEN DOG
A lovely class and any one of the four could win on a different day!
1ST Wests Ch Tomlyndon Eager Ernest. Top winner this year who was very nice to go over. Great head and eye, mouth and ears which he uses to advantage. Ok in neck and shoulder, neat front, strong body, short coupled and excellent tailset. A ultimate showman who always gives his all for his handler. Just preferred outline of my ticket winner when stacked. Res CC.
2ND Hughes Ch Brychdyn Diamond Geezer. A dog I have judged before and boy has he improved since then. Fabulous strong head, lovely neck and shoulders, short backed, strong body and tail on top. Showed well but just not the animation of class winner.
3rd Fryers Int Ch and Multi Ch Hopecharm Prince Harry.
VETERAN DOG
1ST. Tullis Drumsheugh True Grit. 9 years young and really looking in fabulous condition. Wonderful chap and showing so well for and oldie. Alot to like about him and certainly didn’t look out of place in the ticket line up.
2nd McLoughlins Leyhey Living Legend. Another well presented old boy who was thoroughly enjoying his day out. I have judged him before and still feel he is a credit to his owners.
GOOD CITIZENS DOG OR BITCH
1ST McLoughin s Lloval Look Here Leyhey. Pretty little bitch with a lovely head, neat ears and great expression. Very compact body, good topline and tailset, showed very well.
MINOR PUPPY BITCH
1ST Squires Kimgarwyn Thistle. Lovely little lady who really stole my heart. Nice head, pretty expression, neat ears and great mouth. Good neck and shoulder, neat front, plenty of substance, good rear end and tailset. She showed herself to advantage to take BPIS. Definately a bright future for her.
2nd. Jenkinsons Highcross Chrystal Charm. A pretty little bitch who also has a good head, neck and shoulders, strong body, short back and tailset. To be picky I would like more bend of stifle.
3rd. Smiths Highcross Precious Charm To Linbeck.
PUPPY BITCH
1ST Purchons Lindenka Apple Krumble. This kennel has a lovely type at the moment, like peas in a pod. Lovely pup who showed so well. Very compact type, strong body and powerful rear quaters. Another with a promising future.
2nd Woodlands Fernsunrise Fly The Flag. Larger type of bitch who is going to need more time to fill her frame. She has a nice head and eye, ample neck, good front, longer cast than winner but a lovely rear. Showed ok but could be more committed.
JUNIOR BITCH.
1ST Burns Burneze Geordie Girl. A lovey bitch shown in wonderful coat and condition. Good head, strong muzzle, wicked expression and dark eye. Nice neck and shoulders, shortest of backs and perfect tail set. Showed well just preferred the drive from the rear of the CC winner. Res CC and RBIS.
YEARLING BITCH
1ST. Strand and Hands Crinan Carousel. Smart, stronger type of bitch. Nice head and eye, good mouth. Excellent pigmentation, she is coming together and could do well next year I think.
NOVICE BITCH
1ST Fryers Pride And Precious Sweet White Angel By Hopecharm. Lovely bitch who was in my top three today. She is just my type, strong head, neat ears and keen expression. So well balanced and definitely one I would take home. Showed well.
2nd Woodlands Fernsunrise Face The Music. Strong bitch, in nice coat and condition. Moves a tad wide in front and can also stand that way.
GRADUATE BITCH
1ST. Kinnairds Pepperknowe Party In Paris. Larger type of bitch. Ok head, good mouth, nice neck. Abit longer in back than I like. Showed well.
POST GRADUATE BITCH.
1ST. Bells Pentangle Aint She Sweet. Hard to split first two. Winner more mature in body and shown in excellent condition. She showed herself to advantage on the move.
2nd Fryers Hopecharm Ooops A Daisy. Another nice bitch, preffered her shoulder to winner but preferred rear of winner. Both should have bright futures.
3rd Windrams Calrola Showgirl
LIMIT BITCH
1ST Crocketts Magic Mystery High Vom Maerchengarten. The star of the show for me. Such a beautifully balanced bitch who was wonderful to go over on the table. Beautiful head, strong muzzle, piercing expression and neat small ears. Terrific neck and shoulders, perfect front, short level back, strong body, excellent tailset and powerful hind quaters. To top it of she was presented to perfection and never stopped showing. She has a terrific drive from the rear and reach in front which ultimately won her the CC and BIS.
2ND Jenkinsons Highcross Charmer. Another very capable bitch, shown in perfect coat. Nice head and eye, ok in shoulders, good body proportions but could loose a little weight. Showed ok but would like more oomph
3rd Smiths Linbeck Playing The Lady.
OPEN BITCH
1ST Mortons Swifdon Stormy Days. Well heres a character and a half! Naughty little lady who did her handler no favours on the move today. She is nice to go over on the table but she needs to carry alittle more weight. When she did cooperate her movement was very good.
VETERAN BITCH
1ST Smiths Linbeck Leading Lady. Another oldie who is a credit to her owners. Crisp, hard white jacket in perfect trim. Nice head and mouth, good neck, level topline, ok tailset. Showed well.
2nd Windrams Cochansa Dales Pride. 7 year old who certainly does her best for her owner. Moved and shown very well for an oldie.
JUDGE TRACY GAYDON.
